My Family Vacation at Lifestyle Resort

Puerto Plata

We vacation from August 24 - August 31,

2023. We were a group of 14. (2- 9 yr old,

1- toddle & 1 infant, 3 - teens & 7 -adults).

We arrived 12:30pm. Didn't get into our 2 villas until 4:30pm. we did have the members VIP package). The children was very hungry. We were all hungry. We wasn't able to get anything to eat.

Everywhere they told us to go, was closed.

I proceed to customer services. I was told for us to go back to our villas & they would bring sandwiches. No one brought anything. We had to wait til 6:30pm. We were not able to choose the restaurant I'II choice. They made reservations for us basically for each night at 9 PM. We explained that was too late for the children they offered us to eat at our villa with pizza they will bring we informed them ahead of time it was a sweet 16 and we were at like to have something special done at one of the nicest restaurant.. nothing was done.

Restaurant was clueless. Upon spending Restaurant was clueless. Upon spending one night in our villa, my Grandbabies woke up crying. Stating there is bugs in the room & in the bed. A bug bit my Grandbaby in the eye. Her eye swelled up.

Re-report is this to our concierge. He said he will make a report. In the second villa, there was no hot water. The shower was broken. We reported it to the concierge. He stated I will report it every day. He said he will report it. It was only until the fourth day when my daughter reached out to the member that they changed our villa. My villa had no sofa. Therefore, some of us had to sleep in the next villa, on the sofa.

The resort did not apologize., they did not accommodate us, nor compensate us.

Upon leaving the resort they cut off the black wristbands. Mines was left on. My niece explained to the check out Desk.

That her daughter lost her wristband drawing the waterfall. They wanted to charge us $200. My sister asked to see where it stated and where we signed that we will pay $200 if these wristbands was lost.. the gentleman showed us the page, lost.. the gentleman showed us the page, but there was no signature where we signed. They went over the paperwork with us. They had a sign, but they never went over with us and have a site where if we lose the wristbands. Iasked for a copy of that document. The supervisor told me no I could not get a copy of the document.. she told me I couldn't have a copy because I did not sign for it. I proceeded to say to her, so how are you charging us $200 if we did not sign for it and you don't want to give us the document. My sister went to take the document to get a photo. The supervisor grabbed my sister's wrist. That was very unprofessional and it caused a scene.. we took a picture of the document and we gave it back to her. I've been to this resort before and it was amazing and that's why we went back. I don't know what happened to the service. Buffet was very low on food, housekeeping didn't clean the tables. There is no higher authority to report to, so l'm here. Mr. Weschenbart needs to know how his property is failing. My family & I could not had to endure this. I am going to look into a class action suit.
