We were so excited to buy Levi 550 Relax Fit Jeans for my husband to wear to work. We spent extra money on Levi because of its reputation of durability on 5/7/22. My husband took the time to try it on for comfort and fit. We had to go to store and returned where we accidentally picked up a 505 for the 550. There is definitely a difference. We were so surprised that in a very short time a hole formed in both pairs at the bottom of the zipper in the crotch. This made the Jeans unfit to wear. We were expecting more out of the Levi Brand Name.

I bought these Levi James about 3 months ago and oh and I have had no problems, That wasn't so I was wearing them and they ripped along the seem within 3 months. The jeans were not tights they were loosely fitted, I have only by jeans for a number of years and have always had no problems with quality or tears or anything. But with the recent price increase in the genes that I buy from Levi's, I was expecting these Jeans to the last years since all my other Jeans have lasted that long. I was considered getting them patched from a local shop but but the idea that my quality jeans I pay equality genes that a pay a premium for rips within 3 months is super disappointing. I have never publicly complained about a product being not meeting my standards but I hope that Levi some representative from Levi can resolve this issue by patching the jeans for me or give me a refund. Purchased 3 pairs and the belt loops began to rip after a a couple of wears. now all have one or two belt loops torn. jeans were purchased 02-22-2022. would have reported sooner however just began to investigate. have found this is a very common problem. very disappointed as i have been wearing levi's since childhood. these were purchased for my adult son.

I have been wearing Levi jeans since I was old enough to buy my own clothes over 40 years. In the last two years the quality of Levis jeans has gone down hill. I Used to be able to wear a pair for over a year before they needed to replaced. The knees would be the 1st to wear out. This I expected being a construction worker. In the last two years I have had to buy and then replace almost 20 pairs of jeans. In the last 2 months alone I have bought 6 pairs of 550 34x30. Some from Amazon and the from kohls. The have all either split on the left hip by the pocket or the top left of the right rear pocket. The quality that you would expect out of a 50 dollar pair of jeans is no longer there. At 52 I am going to be forced to find another jean manufacture that will last more than falling apart after being worn 3 times. That's almost $20 a wear which is acceptable. I have old Levi that are too small that I wore for years at work that are still great but the new ones suck

I've worn Levi's my whole life (well, after age 5 I guess) but the last three pair have lasted just a few weeks before tearing at the back pocket. The last pair have torn at the pocket and at the crotch at the base of the zipper flap. What the hell? These jeans have only been washed a few times and have ZERO fade but they are torn through where my jeans never even showed wear!

I just googled "are Levi's crap now" and see that I'm not alone. So sad.

i have purchased 501 jeans for as long as i remember some 25 years i think. in the last 2 years i have had almost all my jeans rip with the first few months at the crotch. always the right side of the seam just below the botton fly about 2 to 3 inchs. Yes in the last few years i have gain weight in the belly and have gone up in sizes. yes some times the jeans stretch a bit and get loose in the crotch area due to sag. But this is costing greatly.

I love these jeans and do not wish to try to find a new brand or style at this point. But I may be forced to do something else.

I been purchasing levi strauss sense I was a kid. I have been tossing them away and just buying more. They have been ripping and tearing at the back pocket a lot of time both. I lost around 6 pairs with in the last two years. I don't have the receipts. Then eventually the whole rear end split right down the length of the pocket. They were purchased at jc penny and target and they wont let you return without a receipt. Since they were levi's I didn't anticipate having to returning them. I guess i' m just screwed out of over $200.00.

I have attempted to find and purchase a pair of jeans online for some time now. The website is horrendous.

1) There is no menu button. In the menu should be a "contact us" selection which allows a customer to reach different services within Levi like chat, email, phone, etc. here should also be buttons in the menu for other selections like returns, exchanges, shopping assistance, etc.

2) the descriptions on the product is poor at best.

3) the directions for exchanging is not accurate.

4) during the exchange process there is a box to fill out for further information and directions from the purchaser. No one at Levi even bothered to read it. It does not matter if Levi can make a proper exchange or not (Which they evidently cannot) if the information provided cannot be followed, then Levi should contact the purchaser and review what the options Levi can follow through with.

5) an exchange is an opportunity for a customer to not only return what they purchased, but also to get them what they want. Again it is all about selling products and making happy customers that want to come back and continue buying. Currently Levi is not set up to do either.

6) I do not know why there is not consistent jean colors provided. The supper small little color select buttons do not display a color name when your mouse is hovering over it.

7) stretchy jeans should have their own jean number. If I am buying 505 jeans then the only difference should be the size and the color. There should be no other options for a jean numbered article. If I want a skinny stretch jean with boot cut, it should be its jean number.

8) Honestly if I am shopping for a men's article of clothing why in the world would the photo of that article of clothing have a women and the model? Women and physically/biologically different in almost every way. Men's clothes should be fitted to men and women's clothes should be fitted to women. As such men's clothes an women's cloths should be modeled in like biological gender.

I am sending this email just to advise how disappointing it is after experiencing my levis takkie sole being tattered and torn after wearing for 2 times... The takkie is still new... As seen in the pic and the sole underneath... Is there any thing that can be done to assist me. Humble request as I haven't had joy in using it...

I bought two pairs of these jeans less than two months ago they just did not wear well at all. The pictures say it all if I can send them to you understand that begin to fall apart after being washed. They were not hundred percent cotton as I was told. Whatever the fabric was it was not real cotton or it was a GMO cotton which means it had shorter threads that unraveled or came apart when washed.

I think I deserve two pairs of replacement hundred percent cotton written and I guarantee they say it’s for two years. Which I doubt they’re gonna stand behind they always find a reason not to honor anything. Like a politician they say one thing and they do some thing else! I Payed Cash Not Credit. My Friend used His Card To Complete. Translation. I Gave Him The Cash!

I actually bought these jeans a couple of years ago. After 2 washes (in cold water and with no other items) and line dried, the puckering and pouching of the material was astounding. It occurred on the hip area, at the back of thigh, behind the knee and even down at ankle level. The look awful! Unfortunately I could not return them as I had discarded the receipt, thinking I would not need it.

The material is too stretchy, all that polyester and lycra and elastane, and there is only a moderate amount of actual cotton. I an thinking this active-wear type material may be the cause. Whatever happened to more rigid jeans?

Anyway, I am now very hesitant to buy Levis ever again.

I recently purchased four pairs of Levi’s from Walmart about to months ago. I wear them for work about 3 days a week. Will last night I vent over and they tripped where my thigh was. I was like OK one pair down three to go. Well tonight my second pair ripped! But this time strait up my butt. I had to leave work. Please try making them material holding them

I've purchased several from both Khols and Amazon and they fall apart in less than a month. I've even gone as far as getting them stitched up to see if it was just bad luck. Nope. they just suck.

Split seams. Less than 1 month

Holes in pockets within 2 weeks.

And no, I do not have hard water. All my other clothes are just fine.

I actually didn't even think to try this complaint form. I just left reviews on Amazon. They did replace 1, but it fell apart as well.

Khols was the same they replaced 1 pair, but the second fell apart as well.

Carhartt's doesn't fall apart.

The back pockets tear at the corners and I just have a tear between the left hand back pocket and the side seam. This is the second pair I have had the pocket issue, but the first that tore elsewhere. My wife gave me the latest pair and was very sad to see what happened to the pants

I have 2 pairs of 505s that ripped at the back pockets within a very short time. This has happened to other pairs in the past but never as fast or as bad as these two. They were $59 plus tax each. I’d like to get replacements. I bought $500 worth of Levi’s on that day and $120 worth of it was turned to garbage almost instantly. I think Indeserve free replacements and hopefully ones that won’t do the same thing. Thank you

i have bought 6 pairs of levis 505 32x38becauise all my other jeans are ripping bely loops of or mostly the left back pocket is ripping away from the jean i tokk 3 pics of them you can see whats happening. levi used to be the best jeans made hands down im really disappointed in the quality. Please help me with our problem i have been wearing levis since i was 10 years old im 60 now and need them more then ever! im going to try to find my last reciepts for the jeans o got , i hope theres something you can do to save levis for many generations ahead. iIt will be a sad day if you ever get to cheap to make a great pair of jeans like you used to. If your new jeans are WALMART QUAULITYI FEEL FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE LEVIS. THAT MEANS LEVIS WILL DIE , THATS A SAD DAY. CAN YOU PLEASE SEND ME QUAILTY JEANS OR A REFUND .

It's only been a little over a year since I have been using my Levi's 311 shaping skinny (Mid-rise) denim and it ripped near the crotch area. I have been a loyal Levi's customer for ages and this is something that you do not expect from a brand like this. Since it's in the crotch area, I can't even pull it off as a ripped pair. I really adored this fit but this is just ridiculous!

I purchased 3 pair of Signature Levi Strauss Gold “Regular” jeans 3 months ago-size 34x32 from Meijer . All 3 pairs have ripped in the exact same spot- the right rear pocket. I no longer have the receipt. I’ve been a Levi’s customer for over 50 years and was so upset after spending to $65 only to have all 3 pairs have torn do badly I cannot even wear them.

The belt loops on my new Levi’s 550 jeans ripped out of the back of the pants within 3 weeks of wearing the jeans. This has been happening on my Levi’s for several years now and I am extra careful to not tug on my belt,, etc. this doesn’t happen with any other pants I own, just Levi’s. So I don’t buy them anymore… but my wife gave me a pair for my birthday. This happened on every pair of Levi’s I’ve owned I. The past decade or more.
