LabCorp labcorp hours

I live in Lakewood NJ. My primary care physician practices at CHEMED. which is a LABCORPS location however the labcorps lab at CHEMED only processes scripts from CHEMED doctors.

This is a pain in the neck for several reasons. 1) I teach and the other labcorps locations in lakewood are closed by mid after noon 2 -3 pm. So I have to go to the hospital for lab work which is not a labcorps location which brings me to my second point. 2) I then have to get the results which is not automatically sent to me and send them to my primary care physician so that he has a complete record of my medical history.

I do not know why the labcorps location at CHEMED is not allowed to process scripts from other doctors at least for CHEMED patients. CHEMED does not have a cardiologist, a urologist, an ENT specialist, a nephrologist, an infectious disease specialist all of whom I have used this year,all of whom required bloodwork and all of whom I had to go elsewhere to have the bloodwork done. Please reexamine your policy vis a vis labcorps at chemed

Desired outcome: Labcorps location at CHEMED Lakewood NJ should be allowed to process scripts from other doctors at least for CHEMED patients at least after 2 pm when other locations are closed

LabCorp Driver

Driver for about Corp in my neighborhood ran 2 different stop signs.

KS license plate 716 MEW silver SUV.

This happened on Feb 26th around 630pm

LabCorp LabCorp

Turned me away for tests with a doctor's order because she did not want to take the time and enter the tests. She stated she turns people away all day for the same thing. Was not busy. I was the only customer there on 2/21/22 @ 205 First Executive Avenue St. Peters MO 63376. Went down the street at another LabCorp location and was able to have this done no problem!

LabCorp Sample drop off for Louise Hakkenberg (05/29/1943)

My wife went to Lab Corp for blood test and a stool evaluation. She came home with a bunch of vials and/or bottles and instruction about the feces samples needed. All instructions were followed and her identification papers were inside the bag! I, her husband, went to Lab Corp this afternoon to drop of the specimens. The lady behind the counter would not accept the simple drop off. I had to check in with my driver's license. There was no "Drop off" choice on the list of options. Finally she permitted me to approach her station. She proceeded to ask me for my wife's insurance card which of course I did not have with me. She refused to accept the bag. So I had to turn around and head for home. What a pathetic service. Never again to Lab Corp if another service provider is available, mark my words!

Desired outcome: An appology and recognition of poor service under these simple circumstances!

LabCorp Bloodwork

The new person working at the King street location in Bellingham is unqualified to be there! My appointment was at 8:30, and even though no one else was there I didn't get checked in until 8:50. The person was so clueless on the computer system that she couldn't even check me in properly. I left, because I do not trust someone like that to take my blood. Why is she there completely alone?

Desired outcome: Replace her with anyone else. I've never had a problem at this location prior to the morning of 2/17/22.

LabCorp Why so many offices are temporary closed in my area

Why are so many locations in my area Lake Worth Florida, LabCorp

6169 S Jog Rd Ste A13, Lake Worth · [protected] temporary closed, I have been going to the office on Jog rd. Florida for years and also so many others LabCorp's in my area, will they reopen soon or is it you can't get help or due to covid? I Received this email from LabCorp and still no response,

LabCorp Staffing management

The managers who have responsibility to ensure the various Labcorp faciliies are properly staffed are failing their job miserably. The gal who draws the blood is wonderful at the Enumlaw, WA, lab. But she cannot handle the workload. She cannot handle the front desk, draw blood, and prepare the blood for shipping when there are so many people waiting to be helped.
Today I had an appointment at 8 am. There were 12 people waiting by 8:15 a.m., and the lab opened at 7 a.m. This lab needs two to draw blood and prepare it, and one to work the front desk. Don't the supervisors look at the sign-in statistics to determine manning levels? Why open at 7 a.m., if mgmt is not going to pay staff to be there to handle the workload. The one girl who draws my blood every month is wonderful; she can find a vein painlessly. But she is not SUPER WOMAN. Managers, earn your pay, make sure there are enough staff there to handle the traffic. I am a lawyer, I don't make complaints usually, but this situation deserves attention, especially since Labcorp has been bought out.

LabCorp service refused over 1 past due bill, demanded payment or no service

I went to my local labcorp, same one i've been going to for years. Upon checkin I was notified at the kiosk that I had a past due bill, and declined payment at that time due to low funds. Upon calling my name for the order the receptionist informed me she would not be able to serve me if I couldn't pay her at least $60, I informed her I had no extra cash at all and couldn't make payment at this time and then I left bc she refused to help me. Terrible service

LabCorp Lost blood work

Went to Labcorp on Sunrise way in Palm Springs, California. I fasted for 12 hours and they took about 10 vials of blood as my doctor required many tests. After 2 weeks of no results, I went back to the lab to inquire about my results... They have lost the blood and I'm not even in the system as having been there. No apologies, no nothing. How can they lose 10 tubes of blood? How unprofessional and irresponsible. I have to do this all over again, but will never go back to that location. After reading the Google reviews, I see that this place is notorious for losing blood samples. Why isn't anything being done about this?

LabCorp Rude Phone service

Was calling to ask about my bill payment and told the operator that my insurance company didn't take the claim. The lady served me was extremely rude and yelled at me when I couldn't find the information she asked and when I asked her to repeat.

The most terrible experience ever had. Well I guess they don't even care since it is not easy to find people willing to work as operators now.

LabCorp Horrible service, did blood draw incorrectly, incompetent & rude staff

Utterly ridiculous.

My girlfriend went to Labcorp to get her blood drawn for medical testing. The ended up botching it so badly that she fainted. I am VERY angry.

I don't know what kind of people you're hiring or what training you put them through, but this will not stand. I don't know who to complain to in the company, but there needs to be some accountability here.

LabCorp Employee

This employee is always the only one at this location. I went on 12/14, also my Son. We had appts. back to back. We both fasted. She called him first and said that our insurance was not in the system. I told her that I had been there before and that there was no issues. She told me to call my insurance. And she proceeded to call other people. I did call my insurance and they confirmed that there should not be any issue. So we waited and waited. Finally she called my son back and I told her that called my insurance co, then she said that she found in the system. I expected to be called in next, and I never was. I left. Now, this whole time of waiting, she comes out of office and is yelling to everyone that has no appt., to leave. She was very rude. That job is to much for her to handle by herself. It seemed like she hoped people would just leave.

Desired outcome: That I would have had my blood drawn at the appt. I set up 2 weeks prior. To little, to late.

LabCorp Rude employee

Message to be sure that yhey got my doc's from my dr. No call back! 2ndly - so this morning, dec 03 I went in a bit after 10am for my fasting bw. I didn't even have a chance to sign in & put my license on the podium & this rude fat spanish/mexican looking 🐷 who was at the computer yells: "do you have an appointment?" and I said, "no, I didn't know I needed an appointment." then real sarcastically he says: "well, you don't need an appointment, but w/o one you will have to wait an hr." I said: "well, maybe if ya'll would'a called me after I left a voice mail 2 days ago, I would'a known this." his response was: "see ya later" and I said: "[censored]ed if you will!" what a po💩... I wished i'd gotten his name. 3rdly - I will neva go back to any labcorp's for bw and I will be leaving this as a review, so others will see how they are treated! This 🐷 should be fired! If you want to be treated like: 💩 this is the place to go!

LabCorp Bad Service

I go blood work every month before I see my doctor about my chemo-therapy. There is not much to say about this LABCORP except good and fast service but then suddenly in a few months, service was worse. I was told to wait in my car at least 1 1/2 hrs with or without handicap people. The LABCORP is on the second floor of the building while the parking is away from the building.
After a 1 1/2 hrs waiting LABCORP will call you up. You will come to an empty waiting room and wait again for a few minutes. You will come to a cubicle and wait again for the procedure.
Again you have to wait at least 20 minutes longer than the procedure itself. While waiting, a lot of LABCORP technicians pass your cubicles as if they are busy of something.

Desired outcome: Back to normal and fast service.

THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST!
I had a refrigerated specimen to drop off the day after Thanksgiving, so I called first to make sure they would be open. No answer, as usual, because they don't answer their phones.
Went online and website said they would be open until 4:30. Went way out of my way to get there, only to find they were closed that day.
Took specimen back home to refrigerator and drove to a different Labcorp on Monday, only to find THEY WERE CLOSED! I was on my way out of town so had to stop at a gas station to get ice to refrigerate the specimen. At this point, I don't even know if the specimen is still good!
Called Labcorp customer service today and spoke with Deja who had a horrible attitude couldn't care less about customers!
When I mentioned that they should at least say on their website that they will be closed, she said, THERE IS NO WAY FOR THEM TO DO THAT!

Desired outcome: Answer your phones. Update your website. Get more help. Train your customer service employees to be helpful and listen instead of being apathetic!

LabCorp Blood work cumulative report

My 14-1/2 years daughter's bloodwork was done on Oct 30, 2021 with overnight fasting (Blood work done in the morning of Oct 30 ~9:00 AM) and her cumulative rest results from LabCorp (Reviewed with PCP on Nov 05, 2021) indicated elevated results as below (She is not on any medication or has known allergies, or any previous medical conditions. Perfectly healthy Teenage with lots of physical actives and active lifestyle). She had no symptoms of Diabetics at all before this test.

LabCorp Blood Work Results:

1. Hemoglobin A1C - 8.6 (Normal Range 4.8 - 5.6%)
2. Ketones - Trace A (Normal - Negative)
3. Triglycerides - 113 (Normal 0-89mg/dL)
4. Glucose, Serum - 179 (Normal 65-99mg/dL)

This elevated results indicated that she (14-1/2 years old) has Juvenile Diabetes (Type 1 Diabetes) or Type 2 Diabetes. We rush through to get Urgent Pediatrician appointment (Nov 10, 2021 Evening). On Nov 11, 2021 she was referred by her Pediatrician to ER of Children Hospital for Endocrinology specialist review. We picked our daughter from her Middle School and drive to 1-1/2 hours to Children Hospital Emergency Room (Nov 11, 2021 ~ Afternoon).

In the ER her initial Vitals were checked around 12:30PM (Nov 11, 2021) came absolutely normal.

Children Hospital Results Nov 11, 2021 Through Nov 12, 2021

1. Glucose, Whole Blood (POC) - 95 (Normal Range 70 -110mg/dL)
2. MAGNESIUM, PLASMA OR SERUM - 1.8 (Normal Range 1.8 - 2.4mg/dL)
3. PHOSPHORUS (INORGANIC), PLASMA OR SERUM - 4.7 (Normal Range 3.0 -4.8mg/dL)
4. Basic Metabolic Profile (BASIC METABOLIC PANEL) - ALL Results Normal and in Range
5. HEMOGLOBIN A1C, BLOOD (LAB) (HEMOGLOBIN A1C LAB) - 5.1 (Normal Range 4.0 - 5.6%)

14. GLUCOSE, WHOLE BLOOD, (POC) - 85 (Normal Range 70 -110mg/dL)
15. LIPID PANEL (LIPID SCREEN, FASTING, PLASMA OR SERUM) - All Results Normal and In Range
15. GLUCOSE, WHOLE BLOOD, (POC) - 86 (Normal Range 70 -110mg/dL)
16. Microalbuminuria, Urine, Random Collection - All Results Normal and In Range
17. Blood Pressure, Pulse, Temperature, Respiratory Rate, Oxygen Saturation, COVID PCR Test - All Results Normal and In Range.

Based on this test results Endocrinology Specialist of Children Hospital Emergency Team concluded that her ALL test results are normal and has no sugar, insulin, Ketones, Triglycerides or "NO DIABITICS" either Type 1 or Type 2 and she was discharged from ER on Nov 12, 2021. I have all objective evidence of test results in electronic format.

Test results from Lap Corp were indication of chronical illness and after pain, mental, physical suffering Children Hospital Endocrinology Specialist team concluded "No Diabetic, no Medication, No Insulin Need". She end up missing few days of high school, and as a parents we end up rack of ER and and specialists Bills to pay.

Do yourself a favor and learn from others experience.

LabCorp Lab Work

I was charged $750 for basic pap lab work. This have never costed more than $150 before anywhere. This company is a complete scam and uses pricing that should be illegal. This company is a great example of everything wrong with the US healthcare system. The price gouging is insane and I would not recommend that anyone uses labcorp for any lab work that they need completed.

LabCorp Urine drug screen

I am a nurse and take random drugs screens periodically. The last 2 done at Labcorp were very unprofessionally handled. The person taking the test both times took my urine and sent me around the corner with a key to collect my belongings that made me nervous leaving my urine out of my sight. One of them I was never given a chain of custody form and the urine was not sealed in front of me. I was told to sign and initial a piece of paper and sent on my way. The first test done for FleetNurse came back fine. The one I did on 11/5 for ShiftKey came back failed? I was given a chain of custody before leaving, but the urine was not sealed in front of me. I do not do drugs nor never have done drugs. I was notified today through text the test failed. I have not received a phone call back from the MRO or the employer after several calls today and completely distraught because I am a nurse and this could effect my license and ability to work. I have called all day trying to find a place to take a follicle hair test. It is $400 and they cut a chunk of hair out of the top of your head. I am also told I need to wait 7 days past the failed test to cover the time period the failed test was done. I have taken several drug test with Labcorp this year for agency and PRN positions that should be on file. I need to find out how to get this resolved and clear my name. This is so emotionally upsetting. There seriously needs to be a better control of the chain of custody procedure at some the Labcorp locations. Drug testing is very serious and can destroy a persons life if done wrong.

LabCorp Unethical behavior

I signed in at the Lab Corp in Bellevue via self service screen inside, it said to wait in car, aprox 35 min later I got a text lab tech ready at 8:45, I enter and am abruptly told by rude Nikki that I will have to wait in line again, being last since she just got my lab sheet. I tried to request she also submit results to my primary care dr, she said no, then I mentioned my Endocrinologist who wrote labs also wanted to add pay code for uti on the urine analysis, she said no, said as is, said she wont call anyone, yet she refused to listen to me, and continued to help others as I was first & still not being helped. she abruptly left, telling me I could go elsewhere & she did not have to help/serve me...10 minutes later she returns, helps others, enters their labs... I ask, can you please finish helping me? I ask have you even entered my labs, she says no...90 min now, I was fasting and at hour 14... she told the next people over 2 hour wait... I eventually got my lab slip back & went to Overlake hospital Lab Corp... Excellent service at Overlake, went from the Devil to an Angel... the couple she said 2 hrs. showed up & agreed Nikki was lazy, rude and did not want to work. I feel discriminated against, she was much nicer to foreigners, reverse discrimination.

LabCorp Terrible customer service

Dear Shawnta Belton,
As Tamara Smith supervisor, I would like for you to be aware of my customer experience at your LabCorp 1160 Varnum St NE STE 306 location today. I had an appointment for 7:30am Nov 8th 20121. I arrived on time and checked in on automated system. I was call to the desk by Tamara Smith and the conversation as I recall went like this:

Tamara: "Patillo"

Derrek: Handed the Labcorp form I received from my Dr Monika Mannan.

Tamara: "What is the Doctors Name"

Derrek: "It is on the form in the corner of the form"

Tamara: "I just ask you for the doctor name"

Derrek: "OK…..Dr Mannan and by the way I have three doctors that need the results"

Tamara: "We don't do that. We can only send to the doctor on the form"

Derrek: "That was not what I was told"

Tamara: "So do you want to talk to somebody else"

Derrek: "No….it was just what I was told….look I am not looking for any problems or drama here"

Tamara: "See that is what I am talking about" - referring to my preserved attitude"

Derrek: "Look I don't know what side of the bed you got up on but it is no reason for you to come off on me that that…this is poor customer service"

Tamara: "You have an estimated balance of $39.25 do you want to pay it now or have it bill to you"

Derrek: "You said estimated so if I pay now and they determine more fees…will they send me a second bill?

Tamara: "No is it just $39 dollars…..sign the bottom of the form"

Derrek: Since it was two places to that required a signature, I asked for clarification, "Do I sign in both places"

Tamara: "Did you not hear me…I ask at the bottom"

Derrek: "Look lady I just asked for clarification…I don't believe how I am being treated here"

Tamara: "You have do a urine test…take this cup to the back when you are done and set it on the counter"

Derrek: I thought she was going to hand it to me once I entered the office area behind the door for the opening in the lobby was too small to place a cup through so I entered the lab areas and walked to the lab #2 I believe where I ask the lab technician I need a cup.

Lab Technician #1: "Do you need help"

Derrek: "Yes, I lost and need a cup"

Tamara: Yelled from around the corner "I told you to take this cup that I left on the counter...and you just left it"

Derrek: Speaking to Lab Technician #1: " Sorry but I don't know what her problem is but can you tell her to stop talking to me…she is disrespectful and I have checked out of the conversation with her, and I did not see a cup she is talking about…by the way what is here name"

Tamara: After hearing me asked what her name was…she came around the corner and got in my face " I will tell you my name it is Tamara Smith and you the one being disrespectful…"

Derrek: Speaking to Lab Technician #1 " Please tell her to stop talking to me and cannot believe the lack of customer service here." I proceeded to the bathroom to give the urine sample the back and further between Tamara and I continued. Very inappropriate words were exchanged by both her and me during this time period. The conversation ended once I came out of the bathroom with the sample that I placed on the counter.

Lab Technician #2 Took my blood and apologized for the incident.

Derrek: I asked for the corporate office information and Lab Technician #2 provided me with requested information:

Overall, I could not believe the terrible service I received and was traumatized with her confronting me and approaching me from around the counter in an aggressive manner. She also continued to goat me as into a physical confrontation. I am writing to you regarding this incident for a was upset and do not plan to come back to this location if this I the type of people you hire to great and assist customers. I received attitude and toxic behavior from a first encounter that is location.
