La Quinta Inns & Suites review: room

Look at the pictures and please tell me if this looks like a $200 a night hotel to you. The room smelled and was disgusting! The toilet was leaking from the bottom and was only given towels to plug the problem. The phone didn't work. So, we had to use our cell phones to communicate with the front desk after going through all the options to get a representative. We asked for another room and was told they had none. Once maintenance finally came to our room the following morning (because maintenance doesn't work evenings or nights), the gentleman said he'd have to completely remove the toilet and redo the floor seal. Magically another room became available that turns out was available the whole time but not given to us because someone else had reservations for it. There's only two rooms on the property that have 3 beds. We had one and the other was booked. Those people never showed and we still stayed the entire night in a room that had a toilet that was leaking our own urine, smelled like death, was hot as hell, and looked like had been used as a dog daycare in the past. We were finally given a new room (which was MUCH better) and spend the morning moving all our belongings... putting us completely behind schedule on our vacation plans! This stay totally ruined our vacation!
