La Quinta Inns & Suites review: My money returned asap!

After traveling from Portland, Texas to West Palm Beach, I booked this hotel room on 6/24/2023 due to an family emergency. I had my grandson with me. upon arriving I noticed that the motel seemed "runned" down on the outside but still hoped that the room was in better condition. It was horrible! Extremely filthy and unsafe! Before entering the room I noticed a used condom in front of the door, not to mention another one by the bed! My grandson pointed it out to me! The carpet was discussing as well. It felt as though our shoes were sticking to it! The room has a smell of strong urine! There was a huge brown spider on one of the beds, another one the bathroom as well. I moved one of the pillows on the bed and a long red hair was very visible! I attempted to wash my hands before leaving but of course there was no hot water!

I paid $83.55 in advance and was also charged a $50.00 security deposit upon checking in! Needless to say, we did not stay! I ended up driving through the night with no sleep. When I went to the front desk before leaving and complained the clerk, he said that he understood and apologized and said that he would talk to his manager to see if she would refund my money. It hasn't happened! I am furious. How can a business expect anyone to stay in such an environment? I should have taken pictures but wanted out of there asap! I expect to get my money returned to my account! If not, I will share this nightmare with a truthful review on every platform that I can find!

This place is only acceptable for crackheads or alike!
