Dear KLM Customer Service,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to follow up on a complaint I lodged regarding the damage to my baggage during my flight from AMS to DXB on October 12, 2024 (ticket number: 0746079052982, Booking 6CNBJ0).
Upon my arrival at Islamabad International Airport, I discovered that one of my bags was completely torn, and the other was partially damaged, with a broken wheel. Additionally, several important items inside the torn bag were damaged as well (including some gifts that were purchased for my wife). I reported the issue to an officer at the airport, who provided me with a form (a copy of which is attached), and I was informed that I would receive further communication from the airline within a few working days. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive any updates.
Given the significant damage to both bags and their contents, I kindly request compensation of 600 USD to cover the cost of replacing the unusable bag, repairing the second bag, and replacing the damaged items, including some gifts that were purchased for my wife. For your reference, I have attached images of the damaged bags.
