Very knowledgable installers. They were friendly and helpful. I am very happy with the work they completed.

The sales person was upfront and honest. The technicians were knowledgeable and friendly, and they answered all questions and cleaned up after the installation.

I've been using this company for a while now. Their prices for maintaining furnaces and AC units have gone up a lot compared to previous years. They didn't give me any reason for the increase. Hopefully, the quality of their work is good, but I can't really tell, so I'm giving them 3 stars!

I was kinda worried at first 'bout someone comin' to poke holes in my brand spankin' new home that was still under the builder's warranty to install air conditioning LOL... But talkin' to Craig durin' the consultation really helped ease any worries I mighta had. He was real professional and easy to relate to. The installation went smooth as butter and even though I kept sneakin' peeks at what was goin' on *** I didn't really have nothin' to complain 'bout.

Kirkfield Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd. is absolutely amazing! So, I had this old furnace at my place, right? And I was all like, "Man, this thing is gonna cost me a fortune to fix, and it's so old, is it even worth it?" So, I hit up Kirkfield and was like, "can you give me a quote for a fancy Lennox high efficiency furnace?" But guess what? The dude from Kirkfield was like, "Hold up, I got this." Turns out, my furnace just needed a teeny tiny repair that didn't break the bank. And get this, he didn't even charge me for coming over! Can you believe that? I'm so grateful for his honesty and trustworthiness. If I ever need furnace or AC help again, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be calling Kirkfield. They're the real deal, folks.

The technician found the circuit board to be at fault for my 30-year-old Carrier furnace, which is still in good shape. He said a new circuit board would be $600 according to his book. He drove away and picked up the last new one in the city. He came back with it and installed it. It was a bit different than the original and required some wiring adjustments. Anyways, I looked up the circuit board online and found it in stock on a website for $194 with shipping in a few days. Kirkfield Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd. sure knows how to charge a pretty penny for their services. I don't mind paying for labor, but a $400 difference in a part is just plain ridiculous. My total bill for a circuit board replacement came to a whopping $896 for this disabled retiree. The furnace heats now...but I certainly had to pay dearly for that.

Our house had lots of hot and cold spots and drafts, all because of a big wrong furnace that was put in 11 years ago by another local company. My Kirkfield technician, Craig, nicely explained to me the problems and dangers of my original setup. Then he suggested some changes to the vents and showed me the different Lennox models they had. We decided to get a whole new heating and air-conditioning system with a Wi-Fi thermostat right away. I can't believe how much better the house feels now. The temperatures are steady and we can't even hear the furnace! The installation looks really good, and we're excited for lower energy bills. I've learned a lot recently and it's so important to have the RIGHT heating system for your place and the RIGHT person to install it. One size doesn't work for everyone! Make sure your furnace "guy" knows what he's doing. Your health and safety could be at risk.

Kirkfield installed a Lennox air conditioning unit and left my home with neither the heat, blower fan, HRV, or air conditioning working properly.

They claim they tested their work. But after their technician left, we turned the thermostat to a much colder temperature and we could not hear the AC or blower fan engage, and the nest thermostat gave no indication either was running. And then we turned the thermostat to a very hot temperature, again the blower fan did not initiate, and the nest gave no indication the furnace was activated. Concerned it was not functioning correctly and damage would occur, we immediately turned the thermostat off and called Kirkfield to return. We later found out the technician did not know how to activate the fan/AC or heat with a nest thermostat, so could not have tested those elements, and that the HRV was left unplugged, so it would never have initiated properly. So whatever these tests were, they could not have included proper testing on how a homeowner would normally use their furnace and air conditioning. In Kirkfield's defense, apparently there was a short power outage during the installation that may have delayed testing, but that doesn't negate the question of being properly tested.

Kirkfield then returned and gave me a solution where I either had to activate my home blower fan manually every time I ran heat or AC (***) or run the fan continuously (***). And they billed me for the second visit. I indicated I would not pay as I considered the installation incomplete, and it was promptly waived. As my blower/furnace/AC/HRV was still not returned to its original proper functioning, Kirkfield then gave me a quote to install an isolation relay so the fan could activate properly when the furnace and air conditioner are operating. I began to doubt their *** and received a second opinion from another qualified technician. I was told by the second opinion I did not need the isolation relay that I was being quoted from Kirkfield. The new (not Kirkfield) technician proceeded to fix the installation to work properly with my existing HRV/furnace/thermostat as it functioned previously. The isolation relay was not needed.

Kirkfield claims they weren't hired to wire an HRV, so they can't be responsible for it not being wired correctly to work with the AC they installed. They also claim an isolation relay is "required for code" and also that they performed all the necessary testing. ***
Kirkfield has been provided details of the fix performed by another technician and has refused to refund any portion of the original installation cost and maintains that their installation was properly tested and complete. I am thankful no harm to my system was done *** and that I was able to find someone to complete and test the installation in its entirety.
