Lunsford Heating and AC checked my AC coil about 2 months ago and told me it was still covered by the warranty from Goodman AC company
Lunsford Heating and AC checked my AC coil about 2 months ago and told me it was still covered by the warranty from Goodman AC company. Since then, my AC has been barely working during the summer months. They assured me they would replace the coil as soon as they could. I've been calling them every week for the past two months, but they keep giving me the runaround. They always say the coil will arrive "tomorrow" and that they will call me to schedule the installation, but I never hear back from them.

My complaint with Lunsford AC is no response to my request for a detailed description of service rendered on August 21. History of service from Lunsford: June - Annual Service A/C - Three (3) pounds or R410 Refrigerant replace (Unit still under warranty). March - Annual Service A/C - (Unit still under warranty). August 10 - (WARRANTY EXPIRED JUNE ) Unit not cooling - Three (3) pounds of R410 Refrigerant replace, Electronic Leak Search found leak in Drier. Technician said someone would call to schedule appointment to replace Drier. Due to no returned call for several days, I called Lunsford. No one knew what I was talking about. They stated they would check into the problem and call me. Finely someone called and made an appointment for August 21. A lady said it would be $500.00 + for the repairs. I questioned her since I paid $323.51 on August 10th. She said O.K... $450.00 less $50.00 Military discount. Total cost $405.00. August 21 - Technician came and replaced the part. He could not give me a receipt because he did not know how to send an e-mail from his computer. He assured me that the office would send the receipt. No one sent a receipt via e-mail. I called the office and finally got a receipt. It listed "Misc. Repairs" 1 Job. I sent another email to Lunsford requesting an itemized receipt. They forwarded the same receipt still refusing to itemize the cost. Having paid $728.51 for this service, I felt that I had been overcharged. Also, having three (3) pounds of refrigerant replaced (in June ) should have raised a RED FLAG to the Technician that there might be a leak. At this time the unit was still under warranty.
