I called and was answered within minutes. The guys (let's call them Bob and Joe) came out, answered all my questions. Today they came out and installed my new unit. I can not say enough about the *** professional, polite, and all around great. If you need anything from plumbing to HVAC? Call them! They are the best in my book. I'm one happy camper! You guys are great. From providing a prompt, professional sales representative, who gave me a detailed quote emailed before he left my home. The quote gave me options and details that I needed to make my decision. We went and purchased a complete central heating & air conditioner system along with a tankless water-heater. The installers Jake and Evan and their assistants. (Sorry, I can't remember their names. You guys were also professional, tidy, and answered all of my questions without hesitation. Not to mention got the install done quicker than quoted. Even were great in training us how to operate our new systems. We have and will continue to recommend you guys.

On 8/25, the power went out for 2 minutes. Later, I noticed that the thermostat temperature was 80 degrees, even though it was set to 70 degrees. Since there are 2 asthmatics in the house, I decided to call Regional Plumbing Heating and Air, who offers 24-hour service calls. I received a call from their representative, who informed me that there would be a $99 service charge. They came to my residence and replaced multiple parts, each time increasing the cost. After replacing 3 parts, they informed me that the compressor was blown. I ended up paying the company $626 to fix a unit that was unfixable. To make matters worse, they then gave me a quote of nearly $6000 to replace the unit.

An investigator from *** came out to assess the damage and stated that a diagnostic tool should have been used before replacing any parts. It was determined that the cause of the issue was a lightning strike that sent hundreds of volts to the unit, burning up the compressor. The investigator mentioned that the technician should have immediately known that it was the compressor and not wasted time replacing unnecessary parts. The company informed me that I would not receive any refund unless I agreed to pay them to replace the unit. They only offered to refund $126, citing additional labor costs, but ultimately, no refund was given.

After explaining that we had a sewer smell in the yard and inside the garage, two technicians from Regional arrived on 10/29 to camera the lines. They identified three areas in the yard itself that they felt were problems and provided an estimate for repair. I confirmed twice that day with the tech on site that the estimate would need to include repair of all three areas. After receiving the estimate it appeared that two of the three areas, one near the house and one near the garage were specifically identified but the third problem (located between the two) was not specified in the estimate. I called Regional on 11/02 and through their secretary, asked again to confirm that all the problems, including the third area that needed repair, was included in this estimate? The secretary contacted the tech who prepared the estimate and assured us that yes, it was included in the estimate they provided. After this confirmation, we then scheduled the repair. On 11/06 Regionals' owner and a tech arrived and completed repair on two of the three areas. When we saw that the owner and the tech were packing up to leave and one area was still not repaired, we asked the owner specifically if they were going to repair the third problem area between the house and garage included in the estimate and that had been identified when his company cameraed the lines. The owner gave a "thumbs up" but said that he was going to try to contact our sewer line protection contract provider to see if they would cover the cost of that repair and they had to check on some other jobs first. He promised to return and camera the lines again as soon as their camera was repaired. It was our understanding that we would pay the entire estimate for repair of all three areas and would be reimbursed by our sewer line protection contract provider if they determined any of the problems found fell under their sewer line protection contract. Either way, whether the sewer line protection contract covered the repair or we were required to pay for the repair, we still expected the entire repair to be completed under the estimate. For over a week we continued to try to contact the owner of Regional to find out when they would be returning to fix the last area. We received no return call. We were finally able to get in touch with someone who was acting for the owner who stated no additional work would be done without additional cost to us. We feel that Regional did not complete the work as verbally agreed upon. We now understand that the third area was not specifically spelled out in the estimate but that is why we confirmed verbally, three times, that all three areas this company identified to be problems would be repaired. We also feel we were duped when we asked if the company would be returning to complete the job. When it came time to pay, they wanted all the money noted in the estimate under a guise that they would return and complete the job. We definitely were misled by this company.
