JC Penney online orders

Placed an online order my self this morning (table lamps) .Wife looked at picture when she got home, did not like. I called customer service to cancel, waited over 20 minutes for a rep.(their wait time is outrageous), she said order is already being processed so she can't cancel.
These are being shipped by the manufacturer and have NOT been shipped yet. So now I have to wait (instead of changing the order) until they're delivered to my home and then drive to my local store to return them .I'm handicapped so that's going to be a pain in the butt.
Why doesn't JCP have an online cancellation policy good for about 12 to 24 hours ?
Now they wonder why their sales are in the toilet. Since I have to go out to return them I'll go someplace else to buy new lamps.

JC Penney customer service

On Saturday July 15, 2017 I went to Stonecrest Mall with intent to visit my favorite stores: Dillard and Macy's. While enroute to one of the stores, I passed J C Penny and decided to check out their Lingerie Department for possible sales. While there I overheard two ladies commending on the lack of help available in that department. Apparently one found a salesperson and ask for assistance, because an overhead page requested was sent out. As I continue to browse, I overheard one of the ladies lament that several minutes had passed and no one had come. Approximately 10-15 minutes later as I approached the jewelry department counter to check out, I could see the lady who was waiting to be assisted approach a salesperson, stating that she had been waiting a long time and no one has respond to the page. (There were two salesperson in jewelry, one was checking out a customer and the other was standing nearby). I observed the one standing in area leave and approach two other salesperson. The three stood in a group and seemed to make glances at the woman in need. Meanwhile, the woman waiting for assistance looked at me, shook her head, and stated to me "This is ridiculous." I acknowledged to her that I heard the overhead page go out several minutes ago and agreed the wait was far too long. Approximately two minutes later, I noticed a young woman with an annoyed look approaching the Lingerie Department and glancing sideways toward the lady. The lady had her back turned so I advised her of the salesperson's presence. At no time did I observe the young salesperson appear apologetic for the customer's wait. I then turned my attention back to the salesperson at jewellery counter who was completing a check out. After bagging the customer's items, to my amazement she walked away. Knowing that she saw me there because I was standing parallel to the register and was very visible during the earlier exchange between the upset customer and her co-worker. However, I was relieved to see the salesperson retrieve a form, return to her station, pick up the form and read the contents to a caller. Although I think she should have acknowledge me and said she would be with me shortly, I dismissed her behavior being I would be service once call was completed. However, when she completed her call she never looked at me, walked away and joined three of her co-workers across the room and began a conversation. The salesperson who assisted the customer in getting help was able to look across the room and see me standing there. I walked over to the group and stood there to be acknowledged. The salesperson (sorry to keep addressing her this way) who assisted the lady and who was looking at me from across the room, ask if she could assist me. I then requested the complaint department number. With that the salesperson who would not assist me, nervously walked away. I gestured towards the salesperson and ask her name and was told "Kendra." To my surprise the salesperson identified herself as Kendra's supervisor. I recapped everything that had happened and the supervisor stated, "Sorry you had a bad experience and hope it doesn't stop you from shopping at J C Penny again." This supervisor wasn't apologetic or empathic to the first customer, nor was she with me. I felt that if she was sincere she would have found someone to checked me out. She just allowed me to walked away and then I observed her and "Kendra" talking and watching me as I stood in a long line for service. For the supervisor who wanted to know if I would come to J C Penny again, the answer is no and would not advise my friends or associates to. As a US Veteran, I understand the meaning of service. Too bad J C Penny's salespeople don't.

Well where do I start. purchased beaver valley mall. very very upset with j. c. penney. I picked my glasses up in december. first. I work in a office. I use a case and clean them properly with cleaner from your store. with in the first 6 weeks lens needed replaced. scratched. another 6 weeks goes by I need new lenses again. by end april need new lens. scratched tiny scratches. now this is less then 6 month. the third time I went in I was so furious the third set of lens? I bought the scratch guard to avoid replacing glasses every 3 months. I have worn glasses for 20 years and never had an issue. never.
The manager there was not very nice. I told her I was filing a complaint with store manager. so she said the best she would do is refund the last payment I had made to replace lens. so where does that leave me? with very expensive scratched trifocals scratched because she would not replace them. so now what is jc going to do?
I asked for a full lens refund and was denied. sothanks

JC Penney service

I placed a order over 3 weeks ago. I received partial of the order. As of today I haven't been able to speak with anyone to find out why I haven't received the remaining part of my order. You didnt hesitate to deduct from my account but i've been on hold several times for over an hour with no answer or help. I want a refund. I need someone to contact me regarding me receding my funds back asap!

JC Penney stylist and service

Sunday i was being serviced at the Damon in Pembroke Lakes Mall when a girl walked in wearing cut up jeans to her croch and a cut of short exposing her entire belly. I thought it was a client turns out it was a stylist. She was rude to everyone, made faces and almost ran me over when I was getting a coffee, didn't day excuse me or anything.
Since when do stylist wear this to the salon. It's very low class.
The other stylist are always wearing mostly black dressy clothing and are so pleasant.
This girl was obviously new or something.

JC Penney store cleanliness

7/11/17 between 215-245 PM. Today while I was shopping in the WilkesBerre store I noticed that there was a lack of customer service. Not a single person came to greet me, or see how I was doing. It was almost impossible to shop because of how messy the store was. I couldn't be in there longer than about thirty minutes because of this. While I was searching the store I found myself in clearance, and I noticed that THREE of the associates were gossiping for 15 minutes instead of actually working. I also noticed that there is a lack of sensors on the clothing, in a highly thefted area.

JC Penney customer service

I have had issues when ordering from the JCPenney app. I have called and waited almost an hour one time and 20 minutes the second time. I tried to resolve an issue around July 3, I was told by a supervisor that my issue would be resolved, it wasn't. I got to packages yesterday for the same item x2. When I called today about this issue a supervisor got snippy and told me I was wrong about the same item from the week before, she also told me I could return it to the store, but I would not get a refund because I didn't order it. So I fell she called me liar. I have been a customer fro 5-6 years. I will not be ordering from JCPenney again!

JC Penney damaged goods sold

On today (7/10/17), I made a purchase (pressure cooker) at 2:33 p.m. As the cashier was bagging the (unboxed) item, I noticed that the "Pressure Regulator Valve" was missing. Because the transaction had been completed, I was not allowed to return it; she stated "all sales are final; no returns." I spoke with the manager and advised him that the item was damaged and stated 'using the pressure cooker as it was would be a safety hazard'. He nonchalantly stated they had no missing parts of items and the store (#1987) would not process refunds or exchanges.

JC Penney worthington sandals

I purchased these sandals a couple of years ago and wore them for the first time on June 30. I had previously purchased the same sandals in another color and liked them so much I purchased a second pair which is why I hadn't worn the other pair. On June 30 I decided to wear the new pair and after wearing them for four hours they felt a little uneven and odd. I looked at the bottoms and was shocked at what I saw (see attached picture). Since I was walking on blacktop and level ground could not image what caused such a breakdown to the sole. One sole was merely cracked where the other was a total disintegration. I would like to know what you suggest concerning they had never been wore?

JC Penney van heusen air dress shirt reg fit

We purchased this shirt for our son-in-law for Father's Day. The shirt We purchased was very nicely displayed but unfortunately the wrong size. The store did not have the needed size, so We ordered it to be sent to the store. We picked up the shirt on the way on our vacation, so it wouldn't be sent back cause we were going to be away for a while. We were just writing to inform you that the presentation of this shirt was not like the original at all. It was the same shirt and he was very anxious to get it to wear, but we are a little embarrassed to give it to him. The neck of the shirt is all open and flat, almost like someone else had it on. We aren't sure why it was this way and really don' t want to wait on another, but wanted you to know about it. We shop in Penney's a lot and always satisfied with the products. Thanks for allowing us to vent.

JC Penney price adjustment on apparel

I went into the JC penny. Location: lakeside Mall (sterling heights), for the sole purpose of getting a price adjustment on an outfit I purchased on June 19. Normally 30days is the cut off & no where on my receipt did it say anything regarding a cut off period! But when I got to the register the very Rude cashier instantly informed me that the cut off was 7days after purchase "DIDNT YOU KNOW THAT" she asked. Of course I didnt or I wouldn't be there. She called a manager via telephone to verify. Then said, would you like to buy another one its nice material! Really?! No I would not. As I walk off she asks "would you like this rubberband"? I was LIVID! What an idiot. I think her name was Mary, really thin. Fairly new to the store (I'm a regular so I know) she worked by sports wear/dress area. Feeling her incompetence I went to another register, she followed me. Then called that register when she went back to inform them I was trying to get a price adjustment as if I was a criminal trying to get away with something. I've never in all my life been treated with such disrespect. I am a black woman, she is white..I'd hate to think she was racist but it was pretty obvious. I have a JC penny credit card, I've shopped at this location and many others for YEARS. Never one complaint, I could not let this slide. Horrible experience. Just horrible & very disheartening. Its still on my spirit?

JC Penney cashier

I was just at the Jcpenney store in San Antonio at The Rim shopping mall. Stood in line waiting for two of your cashiers who were joking around and taking their time checking people out. April was my cashier and kept having problems checking out the people in front of me and finally finished. I got up to the register and she rang me up and then I had to wait while the people that just left her register came back and had to have her take the security tag off a pair of shoes which should of have been done while she was ringing them out. She finally gave me a total and I paid then hit some button on the register and didn't know what she hit and I stood there waiting for a receipt which never came out of the machine. She then turned around and asked the guy behind her what the "middle" button was and what did it do when you pressed it. At that point I was so irritated with all the unprofessionalism and screwing around at the register I told her I was in a hurry and I had to leave so never did get a receipt.

JC Penney losing rewards:jcp stealing from customers

I purchased a comforter and used 6 rewards I had earned - Total of $60.00. I had to return the comforter coz it was too small providing I bought a cal king size. When I went to jcp in Spring Hill, FL I was told that they can take the return but unable to issue back my rewards and to call rewards department and they are able to do that. I called and was on hold for about half hour before I finally got to speak with a customer representative. She told me that they don't give back the rewards. She then just put me on hold and passed the cal to Todd, the floor supervisor and he said again that they don't issue and the customer service gave me wrong information. I told him Kolhs issues back rewards upon returns as with other companies. This is just down right stealing. I am a platinum card holder and I purchase and look forward for the rewards but I guess that is how they make money by stealing from customers. I will continue making complaints. It is not fair. $60 is a lot to just loose or to be stolen. Jcp customers BEWARE!

JC Penney catalogue order threw store

On June 26th I was in your store in Marlborough, ma. I fell in love with a romper in the juniors department and it was not in my size. I asked if it could be orders the clerk said yes and ordered it for me. I live in East Greenwich, RI and was visiting a friend from where I use to live. So I asked if it could be sent to the Warwick, RI store. So that is where it is to be sent. I asked how long will it take? Tge clerk said 4 to 5 days. So at tge end of that week I called the Warwick store and was told it would be in on July 5th. I just called today and was told there was a shortage and they would look on their sales floor to see if they had one for me and call me back. I received a call a back and was told that it was shipped out on June 29th and due to July 4th it had not arrived yet and te next truck is monday. The reason I am writing is because if it was not going to ship out until 3 days after I order it and a holiday was coming up why would I have been told it would be ready to pick up in 4 to 5 days? Also for me to order something on June 26th and now it is July 6th and still don't have it is not right either and I might have it on July 10th I am planning on wearing it July 15th, but not if I don't have it. Is thing that can be done for in inconvience of having to wait extra time for my oder when i was told it woukd be in sooner? My oder number is #[protected].

JC Penney online order

I placed a fairly large online order([protected]) on 6/23/17. One of the items I purchased was a 2pc and I didn't receive any tights. My complaint is because I was told that I only have two options 1. Return the item in the store, tell them what happened and possibly order again. 2. Send the shirt back for a refund. I have a MAJOR ISSUE with this! As I customer, why do I have to do work for something that your company messed up ?!?!? I have never in my live bought anything from JCPenney in store or online. This will be my last time ever purchasing anything from the store because of this experience. We are moving and waiting two weeks to return the item by mail and then possibly getting the item again is not something that I would like to do. All I wanted was my daughters pair of tights to go with the cute shirt that I found online… Is that too much to ask ? Is JCPenney not in the business of satisfying their customers?

JC Penney customer service

I have grown up shopping at JC Penny and the staff has always been great and friendly till today. I had a young girl assist me Diana Lopez and she was the worst employee I have ever met. She gave me dirty looks for asking her to assist me in getting the correct shirt that fits me. She also talked very rudely and with the worst attitude ever. How can someone hire someone who is so self centered and has no goal of assisting customers? She made me have the worst possible shopping experience. I expect this store in Brea to fix this issue or I will have to take matters up to someone hire up in the company. We as customers cannot shop if the staff is not friendly nor willing to help!

JC Penney window covering

This is what I sent to jc penny complaint and I also sent it thru there chat line and I have heard nothing at all

(We are not window experts) my wife and I went to jc penny is spring hill florida for window coverings and spent a value of over $13, 000.00 for window coverings most of which we cannot use. Our house was being built when we first went in for a sale jc penny was having. We spoke to the sales person and she told use what to do and how to measure the windows to give her the inside measurements, so we did as we were told to do. When we got back to the store we had not only the window sizes we had pictures on a ipad. We talked about which window covering to use and how to use them. The sales person was very helpful and recommend we put the coverings on the outside of the window instead of inside the windows so that we would not have to worry about being exact on the measurements as you would with inside mounts, so we did. The sales person said repeatedly said “I added 1 1/2 inches to each side for the outside mounting on each side”. The one thing she did not add was any additional for the height of the window mounting, for which we did not know was necessary as we again are not the window experts they are. So now all of our window coverings are 4 inches short. When the jc penny window installer came to our home to install the covers and he called the store and told them the issue and that the length was exactly the inside measurement of the window just like what they told us to give them and they did not add for the outside install. He asked us why we did not use there window size service and throughout the purchase it was never mentioned. We went to the store and spoke with chris the manager is that department (She was very rude throughout or conversation) and she said "it is not jc penny's problem". She would not bring out the sales person (Who was there during our second conversation) or would not call the installer who told us she was wrong to do the sizes the way she did.

We spend a lot of money a money at jc penny and to be treated the way we were by chris was rude and insulting.

If we cannot fix this problem we can start by picking up the washer and dryer we purchased and take this matter in another direction.

JC Penney shirt sizing

So I went to a JC Penny store going out of business today 7/2/2017 in Lodi California on all purchases areally final.
I purchased two mens dress shirts. One shirt is a Stafford size 17 1/2 - 36 37. I have three of these hanging in my closet. I seen no reason to try it on. So I get home and guess what it's two small. What is with that? The same tag wrong size.
I tied on a Van Heusen 17 1/2 34 35 with a T shirt on fit was fine this was one that had been opened and hanging on a rack I put it back and took one still in its wrapping. I get home and it was to small not much but enough to say I will not wear it.
So now I have two shirts I got a great deal on but to small .
Now I ask my self is the thing to do is start unwrapping shirts trying them on making a mess for your employees to go back and cleanup after me. That is not who I am .
I would like to know if you are able to do any thing for this unfortunate sizing issue.

JC Penney customer service/honoring sales in burleson town center store

Yesterday at the south Fort Worth/ Burleson Town center Store I wanted to purchase two pairs of converse shoes, the sign by the shoes said $5 off and all of the CONverse had a tag on them that said buy one get one 50% off... however when i went to check out that is not how they rang up, the cashier asked a manager to look, after several mins she finally came back and said sorry no it's just the 5 off that's all you get, I explained to her that they all had that tag on them, she said you can't get both sales, it's not $5 off and bogo, I said, ok... but they all have the tag on them that says they are? She said well no not now they are taking them off that shouldn't be there? But again they were there, your not going to do that? She said no you just don't get them then, so I said fine, just take them off, I continued with the rest of my checking out even though I really thought a out just leaving everything there from that point... it was completely unprofessional and embarrassing behavior, especially from a manager which the cashier confirmed she was...

JC Penney clothing

I was in your Victorville store located in the mall, I found a pair of pants along with shirts, with a sign saying" Tops and Bottoms $9.99. I took two pairs of pants up to the register to check out, when rung up, the price came up different from your sign, the cashier went looking for the location and found the wrong spot so i showed her their location and sign, even though the sign said in BOLD, BLACK WRITTING, "TOPS AND BOTTOMS ON SALE $9.99. Iwas told only the tops were 9.99. This kind of customer srrvice where your store tricks the customers is wrong! I will not be shopping at your stores anymore!
