I am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction with the handling of my request for updating the mobile number linked to my bank account. My details are as follows:

• Date of Request: 16 October (phone number change due to phone being hacked)
• Date today: 23 October
Despite this being an urgent security issue — since my original phone number was compromised and needs to be replaced to safeguard my account — your branch has still not processed the change. Even Bank official’s response was very rude and unsupportive. This delay is unacceptable. Lack of access to correct phone number means I may miss critical alerts or OTPs, thereby exposing my account to risk.
I demand that you immediately prioritise and complete the mobile number change, confirm in writing/email once done, and provide an explanation for the delay so far. Should the change not be affected by close of business today, I will be forced to escalate this matter (including lodging a formal complaint with the appropriate banking ombudsman/regulator).
