Il Makiage unauthorized credit charge charge transaction #3WA39938W7199170L

On Friday evening 8/18/2023, I initiated a "try before you buy" transaction through your FaceBook advertising using my PayPal account. The advertisement said that the purchase was a trial and "try before you buy" to see if the foundation met my expectations. However, after submitted the purchase, I noticed a credit card charge of $72.34 difference of the total charge of $82. This charge was not authorized and appears to be a bait and switch transaction. Please reverse this charge and refund the total amount of the purchase. I am cancelling the entire transaction.

Il Makiage Makeup

I ordered a free sample in June, 2023 and paid $6.41 shipping. I was told I was not required to pay for it if it was not what they guaranteed. I contacted them through their website on June 30, 2023 to tell them it did not match my skin and I wanted to return it. They sent me an email stating to keep the makeup and I would not be charged. Much to my surprise today I received a charge on my credit card through Paypal for $81.32.

Desired outcome: Return the $81.32 charged unlawfully.

Il Makiage subscription

The phone number for IL MAKIAGE keeps disconnecting. I have tried to call and send emails 100 times. I get no response or I am disconnected. I want refunded for my last order and the order I just received. This product is awful and I should be able to talk to someone or someone return my email. The automictic response on their site keeps informing me that they are sending an email to log into my account, but I never receive an email. No. It's not in my junk mail.

Desired outcome: Give me a full refund for both orders and send a confirmation that you have done so. Send me the Infromation My last order number is [protected] 1.

Il Makiage Foundation/concealer

My name is Connie Mitchell and I have been emailing back and forth numerous time to different customer svc rep., but all of them seem to be dump or they can't understand simple English typing. Ive asked numerous to review my account. Two payments were taken out for me receiving only body scrub and foundation. The makeup that was chosen using your system was too light so I returned it immediately, I finally got the correct makeup and I called and emailed asking them to stop sending the auto shipment because I just got the correct shade, but they took another payment out the very same day of $47.70 after charging me $61.48. One charge should have paid for both of the items I received. I sent emails asking for my refund and to extended my club date every 2 months. I also thought the other payment was for a #13 Concealer but I never received it. It looks like it was added to yet another order. Today I get a email about cancelling my membership. UNBELIEVEABLE. I have been emailing back and forth trying to get this settles for WEEKS. Please help me to resolve this matter and REFUND my payment of $47.70. I will get the concealer from somewhere else.

Il Makiage Horrible experience!

Signed up through Instagram to try the makeup 2/19/23 IL Makiage WWW.ILMakiageny charged my credit card $172.18. I received the trial order & hated texture/color. Cancelled trial subscription & Created return the next day & shipped back. 3/17/23 received another charge for $81.98 don't know what it was for? I never received anything. Receive another box 6/19/23 $57. Went to https://www.ilmakiage.com/ilmakiage_return/return/ to create a return, printed & had delivered to post office. I do not want this product, emailed customer service wanting all charges credited back to my credit card, I have returned all shipments the day after receiving & they then tell me I am in an annual plan? I am out $311.16 to this company and have nothing! I am not going to sign up for an annual plan not knowing if I am going to like the makeup/products...which I hate! Do not trust this company, they just keep charging credit card even when products are returned! No credit was issued. Customer service only has an email & no phone number to talk to a live person. If they are a reputable company why wouldn't they want their customers happy & be able to talk to customer service & get it resolved instead of waiting for a generic response in an email the next day? Very disapointed in the whole experience with IL MAKIAGE!

Il Makiage received products I did not order an was charged.

In March I tried your trail twice did not get the correct shade, once it was very light returned it and second time it is yellowish shade. I requested you guys to send me return slip and I can return it. and get my money back but in vain. That foundation is sitting there I lost my $32. It was my mistake to trust you guys.

Now after 2 months again I received the package from you guys yesterday, I didn't even open it I checked my bank account again I was charged. You have my card information doesn't mean that you will keep on charging it.

Last time Ms. Jordan clearly wrote me that she is canceling my future orders. why did I get it again?

Please send me return receipt I want to send the package back. I want my money back.

Il Makiage Unauthorized credit card charge

I previously had a subscription with Il Makiage, but canceled after my last order in April of 2022. Now, over 1 year later, I noticed a charge to my credit card, and today received a package that I did not order. I emailed customer service, as there is no telephone number available anywhere on the website, and was informed that I chose “auto-replenishment” at checkout. This was 1 YEAR AGO. I have not ORDERED OR RECEIVED ANYTHING IN 1 YEAR. I was told I could “easily” cancel my subscription by logging onto their website. Except that it is not an option to cancel anything anywhere on the website. I have sent 2 emails trying to explain this, and have had no response. I want a full refund, and a cancellation of the subscription that I never agreed upon.

Il Makiage Unauthorized credit card charge

Hi my name is Debbie Roeun. I'm wondering why am I getting charge for something that I didn't order. I don't even know what kind of products that I'm getting charge for. My money got took out of my account on May 25 2023 for $109.00 at 11:16pm. The last time I ordered anything from this company was in February 2023 for $136.26. i just want my money back. I want to know what kind of products that I'm getting charge for.

Il Makiage Great Makeup, But Poor Customer Service: My Experience with [Brand]

I am really digging this makeup, yo! The shade matched perfectly and the texture and scent were banging! Unfortunately, I ain't sure if I'll order again. My foundation came all messed up, like either damaged during shipping or the container was straight-up janky. On the very first day, I had foundation just dripping and leaking all over the place, it was a hot mess. I jammed an email over a week ago to customer service to figure out what the hell was going on, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. Come on, people, if you're running some online shop, you gotta stay on top of your customer service hustle! To be honest, I am totally down to subscribe to this makeup but it ain't happening until I can confirm the bottle is all sorts of messed up. So while I'm still waiting for someone to get back to me via email, maybe they'll peep this review and give me some love. Holler at ya girl! I'll be more than happy to bump up this review to higher stars once I receive some legit customer service.

Il Makiage Terrible Customer Service Experience with Il Makiage: Delayed Response, Out of Stock Item, & Unacceptable Alternative

I have ordered from Il Makiage before and decided to place another order after a few weeks. However, I noticed that I had not received a dispatch notice for my order, so I sent them an email asking about its whereabouts. Despite the website stating that they would respond within 24 hours, it took them 3 days to get back to me with a generic response that my order was out of stock and they were unable to send it. If I had not followed up with them, I doubt they would have reached out to notify me. I was quite disappointed with their customer service, as they only offered to send me a different shade, which is not an acceptable alternative. We all know what shade of makeup we use and cannot simply opt for the next paler shade down. I requested a refund, but still have not received an email acknowledging whether or not they will proceed with it. This experience has been absolutely atrocious, and they still have my money. I strongly suggest that you do not purchase anything from them, as it has put me off buying anything from them in the future, and I will have to search for a new makeup provider. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

Il Makiage Il Makiage's Concealer: A Disappointing and Shady Purchase Experience

So, I decided to give Il Makiage a try by ordering their concealer. At first I was intrigued that they had a different payment system - you pay for shipping upfront which is around 5 bucks, and then you only pay the remaining balance if you want to keep the product. Sounded pretty legit to me. So, I placed my order and was charged twice - one for the shipping and another for the remaining balance. Not too bad so far, right? But then, I received an email saying that an "additional hold" was placed on my account and it would be removed in 1-4 days. Well, it's been 4 days and yep, you guessed it, that extra charge is still on my card. I was starting to get a bit frustrated with this whole situation, but it got even worse when I received a tracking number for my package 2 days ago and the package STILL hasn't even been shipped! I mean, c'mon Il Makiage, what gives? All they did was create a shipping label and that's it. Now, I don't even know if I want to bother trying their concealer no matter how great it might be. Why do they have to trick people into buying their products? It's just not cool.

Il Makiage Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Il Makiage: Lack of Transparency and Unprofessional Attitude

I recently had a disagreement with Il Makiage's customer service department, which resulted in me giving them a poor rating. Despite previously buying several different products from the website, I encountered issues with the foundation I received in my most recent purchase. The foundation pump wasn't dispensing the right amount of product, and when I checked, I found that the bottle was not full. So, I contacted customer service to clarify the issue and seek a solution to the problem.

However, they told me that I had missed the 14-day return policy and could not be helped. I was surprised by their lack of interest in resolving the issue and their dismissive attitude towards their customers. I also became concerned about the possibility of repackaged bottles being returned to the company. Whenever someone returns a product, the company needs to ensure that it has not been used before. The lack of transparency regarding this issue makes me doubt Il Makiage's commitment to maintaining the safety and quality of their products.

The customer service representative did not seem interested in resolving the issue and even claimed that I would likely return for more products, which only added insult to injury. This type of behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. After this encounter, I am hesitant to spend another penny on their products. It is a pity that I cannot continue to use their products as I had previously enjoyed using them.

Il Makiage Disappointing customer service experience with Il Makiage

I gotta say, my time trying out Il Makiage has been quite the headache! They keep talking about how they have twenty-four hour customer service, but lemme tell ya, I don't think that's actually true. I've shot over ten emails to the so-called "customer service" people, but I haven't gotten anything back from them at all. They sent me some foundation that's reaaaally dark and looks kinda orange-y, so I asked to trade it in for a lighter shade, but that didn't seem to work, so I had to send it back to 'em. But then, when they picked the new foundation shade for me, I still think it's way too dark (we'll see though, the package isn't here yet). And you guessed it, when I contacted customer service asking about a lighter color, they never got back to me. So man, it's been a pretty frustrating time. I'd say before you pick anything up here, be sure you know exactly what you want. I will say though, I do really like the mascara I picked up. Can't say much yet about the serums, but hopefully they do the trick.

Il Makiage Cautionary Review: Il Makiage's Free Trial Offer Led to Unwanted Charges on My Card

I recently decided to give Il Makiage (ilmakiage.com) a try and ordered a free trial of their foundation and something else. I was excited to test out these products for myself and was pleased to see that the only cost would be for shipping and handling, plus the applicable shipping tax. However, things took a turn when I received my credit card statement and realized I had been charged the full price for the items I received.

I immediately contacted Il Makiage customer service, but unfortunately, I didn't receive a response. This left me feeling frustrated and worried, as I didn't have the money to pay for these unexpected charges and couldn't cover my bills. To make matters worse, I now have to go through the tedious process of disputing the charges with my bank and having my card temporarily shut down. This is not what I wanted or expected to deal with when trying out Il Makiage's products.

Even though I am disappointed with what has happened, I do want to acknowledge the clear communication provided by Il Makiage prior to my purchase. They did inform me that a pre-authorization may be placed on my card and the charge would disappear in 1-4 days. However, I never saw the charge disappear and was ultimately charged the full price without my consent. This is unacceptable and has caused me a lot of stress and inconvenience.

In conclusion, I would caution anyone considering Il Makiage's free trial offer to think twice before proceeding. While the products may be of high quality, the risk of being charged without your knowledge or consent is too great. I hope that Il Makiage will take action to rectify this situation and prevent it from happening to others in the future.

Il Makiage Il Makiage Review: Great Products but Horrendous Customer Service & Faulty Product Issues

So, like, the thingy about Il Makiage is that, like, I really dig the products and all that, you know? But, let me tell you, I had one come with no pump and it was a total bummer. And, man, I've been trying to get a hold of someone to help me out with this, but no one's listening to me, you know what I mean? It's like they're too busy typing up marketing emails or something. It's just the pits, you know?

And, like, this isn't the first time I've had issues, but this is, like, the worst, you know? It's so frustrating when you spend your hard-earned cash on something and it's just not up to par. So, I'm, like, super let down and probably won't be getting certain items again.

EDIT: So, get this, they finally, like, hit me back, but they had the nerve to say that I wasn't eligible for a refund because I bought it on December 25th. First off, like, I didn't even ask for a refund, I just wanted a useable product. And secondly, it's not my fault that their product is faulty, you know? And, like, can we talk about the customer service here? It's, like, horrendous. I shelled out over 100 bucks for this lame product and after sending, like, a bunch of emails, they just dismissed me. "Too bad," they said. Can you even believe that? This has got to be one of the crummiest customer experiences I've ever had.

Il Makiage Il Makiage Website Review: Personalized Quiz a Hit, But Ads and Checkout Experience Could be Improved

I recently experienced the website Il Makiage, and overall, I can say that it was a pretty good experience. What I really enjoyed about the site was the personalized quiz that they have. It was super helpful in finding products that suited my specific needs and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for without any hassle.

However, there were a few things that I found a bit annoying. For one, after I had placed the items that I wanted in my cart and proceeded to the payment process, there were a bunch of ads that came up that I had to skip through before I got to the final payment page and the order summary. Although I understand why they put these ads in, I found it a bit overwhelming and I just wanted to complete my purchase quickly.

To make matters worse, right before I got to my order summary page, a hair product ad popped up that I was interested in buying for my son. Unfortunately, while I was taking the quiz, something happened and I got dropped from the site before I could complete my order. This was really frustrating and I was left wondering whether my payment actually went through or if my order was confirmed. I hope that I receive an email confirmation soon.

Overall, Il Makiage is a great site with a lot of great products, but it could use some improvements in terms of their ads and making sure that payment and order confirmations are sent out more efficiently. If they could fix these issues, it would make the site even better and more user-friendly.

Il Makiage Il Makiage: Disappointing experience with website and customer service

So, I just wanted to talk about my experience with Il Makiage and their website ilmakiage.com. I ordered the "Woke Up Like This" foundation and was pretty excited to try it out. However, when I received my package, I was surprised to find a concealer that I did not order. At first, I thought it was nice of them to include a gift, but then I realized that I was charged for the concealer on my credit card statement, which was not cool, to be honest. I know some people might say it's just $35, but honestly, I don't like being charged for something I didn't order, especially when it wasn't clear to me that I would be charged.

I tried to reach out to Il Makiage's customer service and it took them a while to get back to me. And even then, they were not very helpful and there was no resolution. To make things worse, after doing some research, I found a lot of negative reviews on TikTok from people who had similar experiences with Il Makiage. There were people who received empty boxes and were charged for products they never received. And some even said that the customer service was unhelpful and rude.

I also found out that Il Makiage has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau, which is not a good sign. If I had known all of this before ordering, I would have thought twice about using their website. It's a shame because I really wanted to try their foundation, but I don't think it's worth the risk anymore. I am seriously considering cancelling my credit card to protect myself from any further fraud. Overall, it's just not worth the hassle.

Il Makiage Captivating and Thrilling: A Must-Read Review of The Girl on the Train

I placed my first order with them today and I was really excited to get to try the foundation I've been eyeing! After I completed check out, a pop up came up for their concealer. I accidentally clicked the "add to order" button instead of closing the ad. I figured I could cancel or an authorization page would come up so I wasn't too worried after my mistake. However, without even authorizing it, it added the charge and the product to my order! I emailed customer service immediately telling them my mistake and they emailed back within 5 mins saying they couldn't do anything and it was already being packed. This was all within 10 minutes of me adding it to my order on accident. Basically, they will not cancel accidental orders for you. Now they want me to wait and return the product. This was such a bait tactic and I'm so disappointed. Honestly considering just returning everything because of how [censored] it was.

Il Makiage Billing

I used the try and buy feature to get a sample of foundation. The ad said it was $6 for the makeup and if I decided to keep it, I'd be charged the full price 14 days later. I was actually charged BOTH the $6 and the $48 a few minutes after I ordered it. I immediately sent an email to cancel. I was told in a return email that the $48 was simply to see if it was likely a good account, and would be removed in 4 business days or less. I sent emails EVERY DAY for 5 days and kept getting the same response. In one they actually said it would be removed on May 18th. It wasn't. I called 5 phone numbers found on Google and none of them are working numbers. Today is the 19th. Still no refund, and still no product. Do not fall for these ads unless you're willing to spend $54 for a sample. This happened in May 14th 2023.

Il Makiage Foundation

I have complained because a reorder was put in place for a foundation which I never agreed to. Also my CC details were stored which is violating GDPR.

I complained that I couldn't login to change my details and asked to cancel everything. I was told the only way to cancel was to delete my acount so I asked them to do this in February. They said it was deleted and I hadn't received email for a while but I received another email today saying my re order is getting ready and would be set on May 14th. I have emailed again to remove my details from their database and especially delete my Cc details. This is really unacceptable, and I have zero trust in this company.

Desired outcome: I want them to remove my details and stop sending me products and stop charging my credit card.
