They want me to review, fine. You got it! When first purchasing the makeup I was told it was a a try for free trial but when checking out it STILL charges my card $40. So I kept the makeup and love the product, however its not worth it because they withdrew an additional $40 for this month and when I complained about it and told them it isnt a *** and shouldnt be treated like one and that I didnt need another one yet they came back with oh Im so sorry your trial wasnt what you wanted and we want you happy, refunded the amount, which still hadnt been processed back to me, and went around and took yet another $40 from my account! So now I have to call them in the morning and I guess *** them out! Didnt even listen to the actual problem! So I emailed back stating first of all I was charged $40 for the try for free one, then when refunded it charged another $40. Then they send coupons as if that is suppose to make it better. I now want nothing to do with them. I want my information and card they supposedly have off their records and unable to be taking money out without my *** permission! Then they harass me with several emails about a review for the Complaintsboard.com. So here it is, you want one, DO NOT GET MAKEUP FROM HERE! It is a great product but not worth the headache. I can pay less and have almost the same look without the hassle. I dont have the money to be blowing out the window for one makeup container especially when it was false advertised as free for the first one to begin with. If anything I want my free one, the one you charged me for once again without permission, and a full refund! Horrible service.

Ok, here is my review of IL Makiage. I cannot possible give them the amount of stars they deserve! In this day and age, buying products that boast that they do this and and they do that online is dicey. I cant tell you how many times Ive been burned. But I ordered foundation and the magic sun foam from IL Makiage. I figured I could return them no harm no foul. But I must say I was blown away! I received my foundation earlier this week. I have really bad pale skin that not only does not tan, but particularly my face as the day goes in gets red, feels warm to the touch, and pretty much resembles a sun burn. Ive used many different products, but recently I found a color corrector to try, but any make up I covered it with looked like a casket mess and wiped off so easily. IL Makiages foundation was a game changer! My face looks natural with my new foundation and doesnt wipe off when I touch my face. Then I waited until this weekend to try the sun foam just in case. Most self tanners look like orange on my pale skin. I applied the foam earlier today after a shower wore it out (no make up at all). And as it began to change to the tan I was so relieved it looked great! When I got home from shopping even my kids who notice nothing were like mom! You look so tan, were you in the tanning bed? Yep, the results were that good! IL Makiage has also emailed me several times on tips on applying my products, and should I not have liked them, Im pretty sure they would have swapped them for something else. Ive already ordered a primer to try and Im totally excited for that to come in! If you are on the fence, give them a try, you will love it!

I'm a 47-year-old skeptic. I have never found the shade of foundation that I would say matched my coloring. It's one of the reasons why I never wear foundation. As I have aged, I have been thinking more and more about my skin and how uneven it is. I have red and pink blotches with occasional adult acne and age spots on my cheek bones. I have wanted something that is lightweight to cover all of that but wasn't interested in trying all of the products out there to find it. IL Makiage was everywhere I looked and with their claims I had to give it a try. The quiz was odd because I really didn't think that it would be enough information to get my shade right the first time. I was skeptical but excited to see what would arrive. I really like it and can see that the color really does match me and I find it sheer, lightweight on my face. I put it on in the evening and really liked it, wore it for a few hours then tried it again a few mornings later (different lighting, etc) went to the store, checked my face in the rear view mirror and was impressed. In full light my face looks great and in low light even better. It's a matte finish for me and the coverage I need. I especially love how when applied to my decollete it erases the redness and discoloration that years of sun exposure has given me. I have since passed on this information to my friends and they have placed orders too. I can't wait to hear their feedback. For the middle aged community I think this is a win. Also, my order was one day late. I had no idea really and it wasn't a big deal but the company sent me a $25 gift card for future purchases. Today I used it for a lip pencil. I was impressed with how seriously they take customer service. I give them a 100%.

I knew that even if I liked it, the likelihood I would even want to place another order here was very slim. Once they take your card and you think you're done, and excitedly waiting to see if your color match was right, they start bombarding you with pop-ups to add stuff on or autoship the foundation you haven't tried yet. If you click on ANY of them you will immediately be charged, and trust me - it is VERY easy to do, especially if you are doing it mobile or on a small screen. The 'skip' is grayed out and small, and also the page will potentially jam (what happened to me). You will then attempt to cancel said accidental purchase and they'll tell you it's not possible, just send it back! (Banking on the fact you won't bother with the hassle) I read several reviews telling this same story, so it wasn't just me. They will also send you more emails than you ever wanted in your entire life just by taking the quiz, and after ordering, and canceling. I have returned my order and left several bad reviews and I'm still getting emails trying to throw free stuff at me. They ended up telling me to keep the $30 mascara, which was kind of them I suppose, but I would rather they had just canceled it rather than waste a product. It also tells me they treat their products as throwaway items. I don't considering offering free money or items true customer service. I see that just as a bad business tactic of trying to loop you back into their web. All in all I am just utterly baffled as to how they have so many positive reviews, maybe this really is the best foundation ever, unfortunately I will never know because this experience was such a negative one.

To begin, if I could give more than five starts then I would. I kept hearing reviews from customers about how IL Makiage would simply have them complete a test, complete the prompts and somehow this test would match them with their correct color foundation. I decided to partake in the same process on their website to see if it was true. I was initially hesitant at first but I put that to the side. After I finished answering the questions (they ask numerous questions to ensure they can accurately identify your skin type/color), they gave me an option to receive a sample or to buy the foundation completely. I opted out for a sample. The package was delayed by *** (this wasn't a surprise to me as COVID-19 is an overhead issue) and Nicki stayed in contact with me every step of the way and was very kind and apologetic. When I received the foundation it looked to be the correct color of my skin. I applied the foundation to my entire face and waited a few minutes for it to set and when I looked in the mirror, I was shocked. It was an exact match! I could barely tell I was wearing any foundation (because I never wear foundation; haven't worn foundation in over 3 years)! My husband (who claims to be very aware of erroneous applications of makeup) said I looked like a model (LOL) and it looked great on me and also that it was a perfect match. I was utterly impressed at the fact that this exact match was all done over a questionnaire on the internet! Not only that, the sample that they gave me (in which I only paid about $5 for!) was the size of a normal bottle of foundation you'd get anywhere else! This will last me over a year! I definitely recommend this makeup brand if you are looking for the correct foundation for your skin type/color or are having any troubles on finding the correct color shade anywhere else. Amazing!

Make sure youre reading these 1 Star reviews. They are not lying.I completed the quiz.. Once I received the makeup, it was horrible for my skin. Ive been professionally applying makeup for 16+ years. I saw all the rave online and thought I could try it and give my review on social media. It was streaky, thin and not buildable. This is already paired with an immaculate skincare routine. I decide to contact customer service and let them know Im not a fan of their foundation. The email response was obviously disgustingly auto generated. It didnt address anything I said. When I replied and said, Can I get real LIVE help with my concerns? This email was scripted and I would appreciate REAL human help with effort. Etc. They replied by saying, I am indeed a real person, it was not an auto-response. In regards to the eyeliner, I can check to see if it can be replaced, free items can't always be replaced as they are limited in quantity. The tips I gave are typically what helps our foundation apply more smoothly, it is buildable to medium coverage at most. If you want full coverage, we can exchange the foundation for our full coverage option, After Party. While we hope our foundation is a great fit for all, we only carry matte foundations, so they typically look best on normal/combo/oily skin. If you love the color, I also recommend adding a drop of serum or moisturizer to it to get a more hydrating application. This video also has some amazing tips, that I often share with clients for smooth makeup application.Literally NOTHING to do with me wanting to return because I DONT WANT IT.After I replied with informing them I want nothing to do with it and dont want to be charged, they stopped all communication with me. Just up and left the thread and never responded. I went to their IG Page and commented on their post a more condensed version of my email. They DMd me apologizing and asking for my order number. Misleading advertisement on try before you buy. I felt bait and switched.I was told I'd be charged $5 to ship now. and charged full amount if I tried it and liked it AFTER 2 weeks and if I kept it. I contacted them immediately and told them to cancel the order and I'd go elsewhere. They said they couldn't stop the order, they sent it anyway.And they said there was some screen during the check out process that said they would charge a retainer right away, which if there was it was sneaky, and really just makes the whole schtick about try before you buy null and void.From the day I received it until I sent it back was within their 2 week timeframe.I was charged the whole amount right away. Even though I told them to forget it, I said don't send it I don't want it, they sent it anyway.It's not about the money, as I spend a lot of money on make up. That's not the issue.I would have gladly have paid whatever they'd asked if they had done the transaction the way they said they were going to do it, if it didn't feel so sneaky.And I really am not one to complain...until it gets past a certain point.I had to spend time w my bank disputing the charge for the initial transaction, which eventually got back onto my account.I tried the make up, since it was sent to me anyway.. I didn't like it and I sent it back with a tracking number for them so they'd know where it was. It WAS in the 2 week timeframe from when I received it, that I sent it back. I have emails and tracking numbers.They have charged me again today, after sending the make up back. I am so furious and disappointed. The will have access to your CC/debit card account and they will continue to steal your money. Yes the foundation is nice. The offer I used was a 14 day free trial of foundation with free gifts and no shipping, no upfront money and if I liked it, pay retail of $44 , keep the free gifts. Sounds too good to be true? Of course it was. The "free gifts"- a make up brush, liner and concealer. Nice foundation and I gave the rest to Goodwill as I don't use them. I expected a bill for the auto ship discounted price of $35.20 ( shipping is Always? free- but later in the site it changes to- free if over $50) The bill- $77. Shocked and out raged. I was fortunate. My debit card # had been changed due to theft so these crooks couldn't steal from me. Charge was declined. My emails to il makiage went unanswered. Have you noticed the responses from the business to each complaint? Oh so helpful and they never do anything wrong! and of course they've already issued refunds although the person placing the complaints says no refunds received. The responses are so sugar sweet they make me sick. Slick. Very very slick and the mark of a con artist. Gives the impression that the company is innocent and the big bad customer has made the mistake! The company only want's what's best for the customer. no the business wants the customers money and will say what ever it takes to get it. Once they have your money they are not going to give it back. Period. They will say what ever it takes- and oh yes- that includes misleading and lying. Don't put yourself through this. No product is worth your time, money and stress. Are you aware reader that reviews can be purchased? There are companies who specialize in writing fabulous reviews for products. Notice the wording. and the way the review is set up. After a while you can spot the fakes- they all sound the same, use the same phrases and words. Raise the red flag any time you read glowing review after glowing review. Do you own research, don't relie on reviews!

I heard a lot of great things about IL Makiage, so I decided to give them a try. I filled out the questionnaire to receive my free trial before I committed. They sent an email confirming my trial was sent and let me know that there would be a hold on my card. PLEASE READ THE DISCLAIMER - the 'trial' is for a full bottle. If you like it and decide to keep it then your card will be charged for the full price of the foundation ($44); not just the sample cost of shipping, which was $5. I was not expecting this kind of commitment when I ordered the trial. Typically, companies will send a small (one to two days worth) batch for testing and if a customer decides to commit, then they will return to purchase more. This is the only reason I knocked them down to 4 stars. I think they would find more customers willing to return if the trials did not make them commit to the purchase within 14 days of receiving it. I understand that they probably did this to avoid extra cost in sample packaging and to avoid extended shipping lags in the instance that a customer may want to purchase the product. After taking the questionnaire and receiving my 'trial.' I found that the foundation was a much darker tone than my true skin color. I tried to fill out the questionnaire to the best of my ability and answered as truthfully as possible. I was expecting it to possibly be a shade off, but it was quite a few shades off. It had an orange tone to it, as if I had been cooking a chicken in the roaster for 3 hours. I'm very fair skinned, so this shocked me. I do have to say that the consistency of the product was amazing. It was light and not cakey at all. However, I did end up returning my product the following day of receiving my trial. The customer service rep, Emma, was very empathetic to my experience and was willing to go above and beyond to help make my experience a better one. She assisted me by giving me a new sample to try at no charge. I ended up having my sister help me fill out the questionnaire this time to get a different perspective of my skin tone. I'm hoping that this next sample will be a perfect match. Thank you for your hospitality and great customer service!

I got my first order and the color did not quite match my skin tone so I went to the website and said I wanted to replace it with a new color. They said to keep the first bottle free and they would send out a new color for me to try. Awesome... after that I got about ten emails in a row saying I canceled my subscription or my order was being processed or they were sending me a new color etc... I was confused and assumed it was a technical computer glitch... then the day the new color arrived there were 2 packages... I was confused because both packages contained the new foundation color... weird! So I contacted them and said, hey just so you know, you guys sent me a duplicate bottle of foundation. I don't want to be charged for a second bottle so I'm letting you know. The responded telling me if I don't want to be charged, (for their mistake) I need to send it back, and make sure it weighs exactly what the label says or I'll be charged. (I don't have a scale) then I need to take it to *** or I'll be charged (I live in the country and don't drive and all we have nearby is ups). And do it within 14 days or I'll be charged... so I didn't order it but now I have to do all this to avoid being charged? I replied that I'm in the country, I'm disabled, and I don't have any transportation or even know where a *** store is and that even *** will send someone out to pick returns up... I said I guess if you want to charge me for a product I didn't even order then I'll just send back the one I did order too and cancel my subscription if they can't be more helpful because I don't want to deal with this in the future. They responded saying they canceled my subscription (what?!) And I did order the product and am responsible for returning it. I told them why would I order TWO of the dame color on the dame day, that I've never even tried before?! I said I ordered one! It wasn't right, I filled out their form and got sent a second one (that's two) now I have THREE bottles total it makes no sense! I was perfectly comfortable paying for what I ordered but I can't pay for two of the same thing I didn't even order! And then I went to try calling them to see if I could better translate the situation and come to a solution... but nope. They only have all online customer service no call assistance... really?!

Oh boy where do I begin. Early today if I had wrote this review I would of left it 1 star because their customer service is just awful, they only have e-mail to contact them at and they hardly get back with you. I finally got a hold of someone through their *** account, can you believe that haha but because of the help I got from this person earlier I'm leaving 2 and it's only because of that one person and because I really do love their Woke Up Like This foundation. It matches my skin color to a T. Now in the summer time I might have to get a different color but this will last me a long time because I don't wear make up but MAYBE 3x a week, maybe lol Anyways grab a chair and some popcorn cause this might be a tad lengthy. When I decided to do the 14 day free trial of their foundation I put in my work e-mail address, well I decided to see if they could change it to my personal for me as the e-mails I'd get from them were being filtered as spam. So I got a reply the next day saying sorry they did not have access to do so. I thought well that's kind of odd, they said I could when I make an account. Well yes obviously I know I can change my own info in my own account with anyone generally speaking. But I forgot I made an account so at this time I'm thinking I didn't have one that I checked out as a guest. So I was like I'll just double check and see if I made one or not, I try to log in, I'm unable to it says invalid email or password. So I thought okay I'll make an account. It says there is already an account associated with my e-mail address. So I try to recover it, now it said if there was an account with that e-mail then I'd get an e-mail haha well obviously. Since I'm using my work e-mail and it's being filtered as spam I'll get an e-mail from the IT team e-mail saying there could be harmful content and I choose if I want it delivered or not, well normally these things are time sensitive (the reset links) I wouldn't get the e-mail from the IT team til after the e-mail from ilmakiage had already expired. ugh But the second e-mail I received from someone there after I tried to give them the low down on what was going on they made it seem like I was doing something wrong after I told them I've tried multiple times and I was getting the same result. They said try doing this and this and this and then see if it works. Rubbed me the wrong way. That was the last e-mail I got from them. I e-mailed them like 5 more times hahah but whoever helped me on the *** end and for anyone else in the future on now if you're having issues with them try *** I guess
They truly are AMAZING!
They truly are AMAZING! I absolutely love their foundation.. as everyone seems to! But I had an issue, twice I received a broken bottle as the pump wasn't working on one then they sent a free replacement and the second one I couldn't get to the pump lol when I took the top off, I got a spring and then another top! In order to take that 2nd top off and get to the pump, makeup splattered all over the place! Yes I was frustrated, but thats how much I love their foundation was that I still LOVED IT and was going to use it daily moving forward! But when I contacted their customer service by email, they made me love them even more! First time, as I said, they apologized and sent me a replacement and allowed me to keep the broken pump one AND gave me a $20 e-giftcard for future purchase. The other time they asked me again if I wanted a 3rd bottle or to just cancel the order and refund charges. I don't like being wasteful so I can just use the 2 bottles I have without using it with a pump. So I canceled the order, they refunded the charge as well as shipping fee AND they gave me ANOTHER $50 e-giftcard code! Like WHATTTT! That is INSANE! I definitely wasn't trying to get all of this lol I really just wanted a working bottle/pump! But I couldn't bring myself to just throw away 2 bottles of this amazing foundation. So ill just suck it up and deal with their imperfections lol. But I still feel like I scored or like it was Christmas! In the end, I basically got 2 free bottles of THE BEST foundation my face has ever had the pleasure of knowing, the free add-on foundation brush (that was a promo ans came free with the very first foundation order I placed), but then also a total of $70 worth of e-gifrcards/promo codes (which I literally just placed orders for their primer and concealer! I paid only like $20 after the promo codes. I did have to place 2 separate orders, but I don't care about that one bit. I've been dying to try their other products, so I CANT WAIT till these 2 new ones arrive! All in all, it was extremely frustrating at first but this whole thing has turned into a really great deal for .e! And THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever come across! They have won my business for life!some of their products are quite expensive but I'm sure they're worth it! Like the primer, it is $49! Thats crazy sounding to me lol but if it works magic, then I will use that for life too (and I'm sure it does)! Jeez, sorry this has turned out soo long, I just wanted to give a very detailed description of how they operate.. especially if you run into an issue! Thank you Il Makiage for being AMAZING! One suggestion id like to make and I really hope yall consider creating one day are travel size products! I always keep my travel makeup bag full of everything id use as if I were home and never take full sized products (in case some get lost but also to SAVE ROOM in my bags/luggage)! I would purchase all these same products from yall, all over again if you had small versions ?

I ordered a sample box a year plus ago. Still love & use all the products l, but need to order more & one specific product that is most used, before getting an entire box.
I have gone online & tried to search for the product but you take me down rabbit holes with repetitive questions that I have long ago answered & have zero time to deal with as have owned & operated a busy sports bar & grill with my husband for 43+ years & there are not enough hours in the day. Please help me, I don’t want to have find other products as I am spoiled & smitten with yours.

I tried the free trial and understood I would only pay for shipping. Well imagine my shock when I was charged not only for the shipping but also for the full price of the product! 2 charges on our account...$12.51 for shipping which I get ...but also a second charge of $148.73! Can't get thru to customer service by phone...and sending emails I get the automated response that it was just a pre authorization and would "fall off" in 4 days...well guess what...it hasn't! This is beyond ridiculous! I want a full refund and I don't want to deal with this company in any way.

They advertised a free trial for shipping price only I never received that product and it's going on four months. I have disputed three times because they charge me for the shipping and then they charge me for the full product which is $113 I have disputed it three times and it keeps getting charged back to my account. These people are a rip off And I have never in three months for almost 4 months. Have I received anything but they still keep trying to get the $113 out of me. I have received zero product they charge the shipping for the trial 14 day trial and 113 for I suppose it's the full size product and never received anything.
Bait & Switch: Buyer Beware
In all transparency, I've heard nothing but good things about this foundation. So, of course I wanted to try it. However, I didn't even get to try it. I was out of town for a funeral and came home to the package at my front door. I have no idea how long it was there. Not really an issue except when they force me to choose two items that you did not want in addition to the foundation that I did want. And then tell me I have 14 days to return those items or they will charge me full price (for items they did not even give me the option to opt out of)! If that weren't enough, when I immediately emailed them to let them know that I would not likely be able to get it back within 14 days because I'm an extremely busy schedule and being in and out of town, they did not acknowledge my issue at all and The fact that they forced me to choose stuff I didn't want and then want to force me to return it or charge my account. I will never recommend this company strictly because of the poor customer service and the whole bait and switch situation they have going on. The sad thing is the foundation looks like it would be a perfect match which is hard to find as a brown skin girl. But I'll try my luck elsewhere. Something that was supposed to be convenient and save me time has now turned into an extreme hassle during one of the most challenging times of my life. Buyer beware.
Terrible customer service
I placed an order for foundation, concealer, & primer, and when it arrived I tried the foundation and found it and the concealer to be too dark for my skin, and I just didn't like the feel of the primer. I asked for a refund on the primer and an exchange on the foundation & concealer. The refund was processed right away, but after over a week had passed no one had reached out about the exchange. I started emailing, and it took over another week for any response other than "we'll get back to you within 24 hours". Such a load of [protected]@p. They first offered me a 25% discount on a new order, no offer to replace the shades that were too dark, or provide a refund. After another week or so i finally got a refund, and a voucher for $50. I ordered once again, shade 50, and my confirmation email said shade 105. (my original order was for 60). I immediately emailed customer service and tried to get the order fixed before it shipped. I emailed the next day too, and got an email promising help within 24 hours. 8 days later i got an email asking for the order # and my personal information. I didn't hear from them again for several days; meanwhile, the wrong color foundation showed up in my mailbox, and then i got another email telling me that because the order was placed with a voucher, i couldn't get an exchange. I reminded them that the mistake was on their end, but they refused to help. This has been one of the most frustrating companies I've ever dealt with, and urge everyone considering placing an order to find something else. Too Faced Born This Way is good.

On Friday, February 17th at around 4pm EST, I checked my mail. In my mail I received a box from IL MAKIAGE with what I thought had my sunless tanner in it that I recently ordered. Keep in mind the package was delivered maybe 15 mins before i checked my mail according to the tracking info I received in my email. I opened the box, which was sealed and found the free mascara gift and the instructions for the sunless tanner, along with some confetti packing paper but after taking all the paper out I found nothing but the mascara and instructions, no sunless tanner. I immediately went into IL MAKIAGE website and found the option to contact you. I filled out the form to contact you. The next day I received an email from customer service in, along with my first initial email to IL MAKIAGE. I then responded back stating again that I never received the product and was not looking to return anything. I never received a reply. The following day I received a Facebook message from IL MAKIAGE stating they had saw a comment I had left on the page stating I had not received the sunless tanner that I ordered. They asked for my order number and email address in which I gave them. I have heard nothing from IL MAKIAGE since sunday evening at 6:20pm when I received the first Facebook message from this company. They stated they would look into the issue and get back with me. As of this morning Tuesday February 21st at 7:35 EST, I have not received a follow up from anyone at this company. I was really looking forward to trying this product and would still like to receive the product, but if that can not be arranged then I would like my money back. I hate to have to post this on Facebook, but as I have stated, I have attempted to contact customer service with no response. I am posting this here in hopes that I will be contacted by someone that can actually help.

I ordered the "woke up like this" and "*** I'm flawless" concealer duo for the 14-day trial. However, I didn't like either of them, so I returned both items. I made the purchase on June , 2020 and was charged $5.35. I received the items on June , 2020 and returned them the same day. Surprisingly, I was charged an additional $47.08 on July , 2020. When I checked my account, I noticed that the auto-replenishment for "*** I'm flawless" was not canceled, but it was canceled for "woke up like this." The website clearly states that if the product is not for you, you can return it within the 14-day trial period and the auto-replenishment will be canceled. I contacted customer service about the charge and initially received a generic response stating that I didn't qualify for a refund. I explained that I returned both items and questioned why the auto-replenishment was canceled for one product but not the other. I requested a refund of $47.08, which is not the cost of the items. Eventually, I received a response apologizing for the inconvenience and stating that they would make an exception and refund me. They assured me that the refund had been processed, but it might take 2-10 business days for it to appear in my account, depending on my banking institution. However, I still haven't received the refund, so I reached out to the company again. They apologized for any misunderstanding and explained that a pre-authorization was placed on my card for security purposes. They assured me that the funds were still in my account and would not be transferred unless I chose to keep the product. They mentioned that the pre-authorization would fall off within 4 days from the order. They apologized again and emphasized that they didn't want to lose me as a customer over a pending charge. I responded, stating that this charge is not a pre-authorization charge, but I haven't received a response yet. Thank you for any assistance!
After repeated communications over the past two years, this company will not stop sending me things and charging my account.At first I spoke with customer service and made sure I cancelled properly.I have everything on record.Then I thought maybe I sent it back too late, even though it was within the time period. They are still sending and charging my account even though it says my account information is not on file.I spoke with customer service via email, then I spoke on the phone and it is still happening and literally my account is being charged and I'm getting boxes of things I did not order and I am not on auto.I followed their instructions to cancel, I answered every question, they even sent an email w/ a free offer trying to get me back. And then they STILL are sending and charging.This company is so bad and completely violating and a big huge waste of my time to deal with this when I had already canceled in the beginning.This is beyond fraud. I absolutely have back-up for everything and this is illegal whatever they are doing, and people need to know.If people are happy with their purchase and like the product that is fabulous, however this is NOT good.I have spoken with multiple customer service reps, as I mentioned previously. I have dates, times, receipts, emails, recirds. I have copies of everything in my bank account. I've canceled multiple times and it will not stop. What a waste of life and bank account, sending back what they keep sending me, trying to get these people to stop.I will get to the bottom of this,. But I feel like hopefully BBB can help and make other people aware, and warn them.Also I have canceled five times and they still are keeping my card on file.
The first complaint I have was the try before you buy they immediately charged my account the full extent of the money and then shipped the product with no chance to cancel the order. The next complaint I had was that when I got the order I decided while I had it I might as well to go ahead try it. (HOOK) USED the product and it isn't what they touted to be so I decided that I would cancel my auto renew. This presented a new problem altogether there is no place to cancel the auto renew I have sent them three corespondences to and ask them to cancel my order and today I received a notification that my next order would be shipped and I have now sent them another correspondence asking to cancel the order. If This Were a legitimate company there would be a easy tab to go in and cancel any Auto renews. This leads me to believe that they are praying on the people that can't figure it out and it takes so long to try to figure it out that another shipment gets sent that's not a good business practice. If you're legitimate company you put a cancellation option on your website.
I had made an order months ago and the product did not fit my needs. The company offered to replace the product free of charge and then today they charged me $47. 86 which I can NOT afford .
I signed up for the annual subscription because I knew if I loved the products I would want to get more. The company charged me $170 for the subscription and an additional $80.75 for the products after the 2 week try before you buy thing. There is zero communication for this company except to submit info and hope they respond. I was told that there was nothing they could do. I purchased two items from IL Makiage about a month ago. You have 14 days to try the products and if you don't like them, you can return them for a full refund. My order number was omitted here for privacy. I requested to return the products as I didn't like them. They sent me the pre-paid return label. I took the package to the designated postal service outlet as I was instructed to do. The post office returned my package stating that I had to pay $17.05 more to ship because their label did not cover the correct weight. I used the same box they shipped it to me in. I emailed them to let them know and they said you don't need to pay anything, just use the pre-paid label attached to that email and drop it off at the post office. So, I went to drop it off again but this time I spoke to someone and they told me the same thing, the weight is too low on their prepaid label and I had to pay $17.05 to ship it. As time was running out to return the package, I went ahead and paid the $17.05 extra to ship it back to them. I have gone back and forth over email with them the past 2 weeks. I keep going in circles, they don't acknowledge the fact that I am asking for a refund for the $17.05, they just keep telling me the same thing... you don't need to pay anything with our pre-paid label, just go drop it off at the post office. I sent them pictures of the return package and the receipt showing I had to pay additional to send it back. They keep giving me the run around and it's like they don't even read my emails. It's ridiculous and now I am fed up with their antics. Horrible customer service. I expect them to reimburse me for the $17.05 I had to pay due to their pre-paid label's insufficiency. They sent me the same exact label two times after I complained! I can't be the only one dealing with this issue.
I purchased (or attempted to) from this company. I did not get a confirmation, but I saw it being charged on my card. When I reached out to customer service, they said they couldnt find the order. If you sign up for an annual plan, Id thought the deal would be beneficial since it was offering a good discount. When I received the product I did not like it. The foundation scam
I'll accepted a trial of 5.00 to try the foundation, and that I can try it and If I don't like it I could return it without charging anything else. Well, the charge me 3 times, first 6.28 the 5 dollars plus tax, 133.00 and 24.99. They never explained me that they were going to charge me that amount of money without trying the product first. They are decieving.

Foundation sample ordered that I was told would be a 'sample' and only 7.59
After seeing the ad on social media, I ordered what was advertised as a sample for 7.59. Right after giving my credit card number, I was sent a confirmation receipt of my order of a full size product to be returned within 14 days of receiving. And if kept, I would be charged full price. Your ad is deceiving, and I am filing complaint with the Better Business Bureau here in the US as well as returning the foundation this week.l
Claimed loss: Having to take the time out of my work day to send this product back as well as time getting to Staples to print out a return slip and time taken away to get to the post office to send. Loss of work funds.

On December 2nd my card was charged 200CAD without approval. Ive been trying to get in contact with the customer service but they have been no help. I've sent out multiple e-mails, called several times but no help. They have basically stolen from my account and the only e-mails I get in return are copy paste e-mails. I need someone to actually assist me with this. I've never experienced this before with a company. They claim it to be a pre-authorisation charge but this is not the case. There is no hold on my card, it was a FULL CHARGE. They are not listening to me and I plan on taking further legal action if nothing is going to change.

I have tried to cancel these shipments for a year now. I cancelled my auto replenishment numerous times on your website. I have contacted customer service numerous times and there is always an excuse to why you keep shipping to me. Last time it was because I had 2 separate orders due to changing my email address so I cancelled auto replenishment on both accounts. Then I received an email that one was going to be shipped so I cancelled again on both accounts.. It still shipped and I received another one today. Now I have 3 unopened bottles of a product I hate. I am going to refuse shipment on the one that came to me today and send it back. My account had better get credited or I am turning this over to the Minnesota Attorney General's office. I have spent way to much time cancelling. I want my accounts closed and taken off your customer list.

I ordered the first time and didn't like the shade of foundation so they send me a new one. I didn't really like the product so I cancelled the auto replenishment on their website.. They sent another one anyway. I emailed customer service again and they said it was because I had different accounts with 2 emails. I cancelled auto replenishment again on both accounts that day. I them received an email that another one was going to ship so I emailed customer service again and they gave me instructions to cancel auto replenishment. Billing/shipments
Ill Makiage has been dishonest with their billing and products ending. I ordered a free sample and have been billed hundreds of dollars. When I contact them, they tell me there is not a cancellation process. When you email them you just keep getting the automated emails back. The customer service is the worst I’ve had to deal with!

Since your auto renewal was not cancelled after the last shipment was sent which is your order 620xcx2787+3 you were charged for auto renewal fee with invoice 620xxx8310.
Upon checking your account, we confirm that your Annual Plan subscription for both POWER RECHARGE CREAM and F*CK I'M FLAWLESS #2.5 concealer will not auto-renew after the cycle for the 3 prepaid shipment for the recent invoice 620xxx8310.
Once you have received your last prepaid replenishment, you will be downgraded to our regular auto-replenishment plan, which you can easily manage in your account.

Items have been sent to me and payment taken from my bank which I have not ordered. This is the second time this has happened and the first time I asked for all my personal information to be remobed from their systems and confirmation I would not be sent anything else. Yesterday I noticed a payment to them and an email saying items were due to be delivered. I have not ordered these and have confirmation from Il MAkiage from the first occasion this happened that my details had been removed which was obviously untrue. There was an attempted delivery today which I refused but I am angry that manoed has been taken from my bank without authorisation. I contacted Il Makiage and they dsaid it was a reoccuring order which is hard to believe as they had confirmed by email that my details had been removed previously. I would likje a refund and confirmation that this will never happen again. I would also like to know how personal information is held under GDPR as this was not removed as they informed me it had been,

Auto replenishment
I was on auto replenishment up until August when I cancelled all my orders. I have emails from the company stating my accounts were closed and I would not be charged. On November 6th I was charged again in the amount of $100.08 I again emailed the company and was told they closed my accounts and gave me a credit {which I haven't gotten yet} to check my account on November 7th and have been charged a 2nd time. Now I'm at $200.16 with no products and have no idea if my accounts are closed or not. I have not had a response yet today from the company. I am going to be forced to cancel my credit card just to stop them from charging me. There are no phone numbers to contact this company.

Be warned! This morning I received notice of charge from Il Makiage. I haven’t purchased from this company nine months ago. I tried calling Customer Service but the number is just a busy signal. I looked on their website and I guess I signed up for an auto-shipment when I ordered back in January. There is no way to cancel, remove my credit card information or contact them. I would never order from this company again. Now I hope they respond to a complaint on their website and cancel my account immediately.

Cancelling my auto renewal and the products being sent to me
I was told I can't receive a credit back and I can't cancel my auto renewal program. I thought I had cancelled it in the past but, apparently this didn't happen. I'm extremely upset because no one should be forced to receive an annual renewal program and product if one desires to cancel it all. That should definitely be an absolute option to do so.

On Sept 8th IL Makiage charged my credit card for an item I did not purchase, and I cannot get through to the company, naturally based on the reviews. I want to get the money back! $38.34. This company fraudulently charged my credit card on Sept 8th, 2023, for something that I did not purchase. I cannot get through to the company of course to find out why what and when and also to cancel any future relationships with this company, if any should exist.
Desired outcome: Reverse the charge of $38.34 and cancel any and all future subscriptions or fraudulent charges! I did not purchase anything on Sept 8 and am not on a subscription.

I did not love it! I have to admit that I am part of the problem. I asked for a matte finish, and I got a matte finish. I realize now that I really needed a dewey finish. It is also a bit orange for me. I need to return it.
I ordered the "trial, try before you buy". Paid S&H. It has been 30 days since I ordered it. Still no product has arrived. Contacted customer service. "So sorry, we'll send out another". Still no product. In the meantime my CC/Debit was compromised (not by them). I believe they were trying to charge me $80.00 for full price ( not try before you buy). So it's apparent that since that didn't go through, they are not sending me the trial product. I believe they are a scam and would encourage anyone not to buy from them. It's all empty promises.
