Complex process of taking specific outlined photos to get a copy of your DD form 214, then a video call with an interested party, then to complete the process a digital delivery # is required which I never received and then when you call the National Records Archives in the sky they say we don't have it, you'll have to start over. Everyone was just disinterested in helping a veteran of 22 years. WOW! I started the process a few months ago and the photo upload process was ridiculous so I restarted this on September 15, 2026 and completed it all only to be told sorry you'll have to do it again, we don't have anything at the National Records Archives, I went back to ID.me web site to see how I could get help getting the digital download number but that was 0% efficient too!.
Desired outcome: Make this process more user friendly, we need someone we can talk to and the photo upload process needs to be more efficient
