An ICICI Lombard policy was attached on my credit card 4477 XXXX XXXX 8004 without my consent. I was charged 150Rs per month for 3 months which I was not aware of. When I asked for cancellation for this they told they will cancel the same. But this fraud people charged me Rs 3500 as cancellation fee. This is clearly a cheating case and when i ask them why they didn't told me earlier they said the representative might have told me or he must have forgot the same.
I haven't yet payed anything and now the due amount has reached 6.5k with all the late fees and interests.
I already raised a complaint at customer service still no use. They are not even ready to cancel my credit card.
My name is k. gurubaran I am a customer of abn-amro freedom card holder. if you check the usage of my card details you will find since 1 year I have not used my card or I have not misused my card of any in my earlier transaction. but still there as been a debit from my card to icici lombard home insurance with out my knowledge and now abn-amro is back of me to make those payments I do not understand why is this happening to me. when I spoke to abn-amro the are telling me to write a letter or mail to icici lombard home insurance to get it canceled and get the money back. I have done that also so far I have made more that 15 calls to abn-amro but they are blaming on icici lombard home insurance I do not know what to do. icici lombard home insurance is not canceling the insurance and abn-amro is sending the statements and asking me to make the payments every month and now started to call on phone also and frustrating me. if this continues I have to file a case against both of them. either they have to cancel the insurance and put my money back to my card or else the have to face the consequences.
I am Ashok Saini from Gurgaon. I have taken a credit from ICICI bank in june / july of 2005 its credit card no. is [protected]. The credit card limit is 6000Rs. I spent of credit card about 4000Rs approx. from credit through a shopping. I paid the minimum due amount for two three month. At once its this charge increased to much. In short Cut I am coming to the point that ICICI executive come to me for the payment.I discussed with him for settlement he agreed to the amount of 7000Rs. in two installments. He gave me letter just before one day of settlement. That is why I am not able to do the payment of 1st installment. Executive said no problem If you give me minimum amount of this month & that will be deduct from your settlement amount. Also this month installment you can give in next month & So on. In this way he takes around 8000Rs in three /four months and hidden. During the last payment of 5200Rs. He said I will stop your statement from next month. But bank not stopped to send the statement from Nov.2006 to till date now he make payment around of 30000Rs. His executive giving me very threating call me on my cell No. & come to my residence in absence of me .My mothe is very feared from those threatening. I would pay all the buddy rupees If I had with me.Now ICICI Bank & his executive take me very harassment position. I totally monthly toucher by ICICI bank His executive . In against of purchasing of 4000Rs I have given around 15000Rs.

Damn... the software that they use to get the phone numbers but it is unbearable...
HYDERABAD/India: Guidelines by the Supreme Court of India against employing third degree methods by finance companies for recovery of dues notwithstanding, Andhra Pradesh (a state of India) recorded what could perhaps be the first case of a death due to alleged torture by recovery agents.
Elite Financial Services, a firm having a tie-up with ICICI Bank India for recovering “bad debts” found itself in a soup after a 42-year-old man, who had taken a loan of Rs 15,000 (approximately 300 dollars) and failed to repay it, died while in their “custody” on Friday.
While the police are awaiting a post-morterm report on the death of the victim - Yadaiah - a case of “wrongful confinement” and “culpable homicide not amounting to murder” has been registered against the firm, located at Ameerpet in the Hyderabad city.
Yadaiah's wife, Sunanda, however alleged that her husband was tortured to death. The victim was a resident of Yapral in Ranga reddy district in Andhra pradesh/India.
According to Punjagutta Inspector G Narasaiah, Yadaiah, working as an electrician in the State Government of Andhra pradesh- Medical and Health Sciences department, had taken a loan of Rs 15,000 from ICICI bank India/Hyderabad sometime ago.
After he failed to repay the loan, the ICICI bank, terming him a defaulter, handed over the “case” to Elite financial services. “This company has a tie-up with ICICI Bank for recovering dues,” the inspector said.
On Friday morning, around 9 am, one of the executives from Elite, Raju, descended on the house of Yadaiah. As Yadaiah was away for work, Raju questioned Sunanda as to why the payment was not made and then took her husband's photograph.
Later, the executive along with his henchmen, allegedly picked up Yadaiah from his office in Sultan Bazar and drove him straight to their office.
Around 12.30 pm,
Yadaiah called up his wife and told her to arrange Rs 15,000 at any cost. According to Sunanda's version, Yadaiah sounded scared, and asked her to arrange for the money immediately.
“He said that he would not be allowed to leave if he failed to return the money and hung up,” Sunanda told the police.
Around 2 pm, Sunanda received a telephone call from Maitri hospital in Sanjeevareddy Nagar that her husband was dead.
“The version of Elite employees is that he collapsed due to fits in their office and died after being shifted to the hospital. There is only one injury on his forehead. We are awaiting the post-mortem report,” the Inspector said.
Based on a complaint by Sunanda, the police registered cases against Raju and the management of Elite Financial Services. “If it turns out to be a case of murder, the section will be altered accordingly,” Narasaiah said. Yadaiah had two sons and a daughter.

I had applied for a credit card and my application reference number is 351/[protected]. I have submitted all the details the company asked from time to time and has send many mail regarding this. The latest response was from Krishnan Govindan, Asst General Manager asking me to file information regarding my office address etc which I have already forwarded through my mail many a times but there is no response from the company.
Can anyone help in sorting out this.
I am very surprised with the way ICICI bank works. A year back I was approved for a Home loan (after a lot of miscommunication) and the first amount was disbursed to the Builder about 6 months back. When the second disbursement amount came, the Bank said they need my latest Paystubs and Bank Statement as there is a lapse of 6 month period. I sent all my salary statements and very much to my surprise they ran my Credit History and found that I have a home loan here that was not on their account, as I bought the house only 3 months back here in US. I asked them a simple question why and How did they run my credit history with out my consent - and I asked the Bank Manager an explanation for this act and inspite of 5-6 emails I received no response from Sales Agent or the Bank Manager, and my Loan is on Hold now - the service sucks, the privacy laws are totally taken for granted. I am still waiting for a reply from the Branch.
I applied for personal loan form icici. each required document is submitted to bank through martin (an employee of loan department in icici, hyderabad). I used to call him after each 2 days for status of the process. always he says it's under process and after 15 days he says that your file is missing from our office, not only yours but whole bundle (around 100 files)... great job.
I need money urgently as my younger bother is going to take admission in college.

My ICICI credit card No. 447X XXXX XXXX 0005 is giving fraud transaction of cash withdrawal of Rs. 35000/- on 15th February, 2007.
The transaction is getting showed against AMEX credit card# 3770 XXX XXXX 5007 which card I never received. I never applied for this card.
I have not even made the above transaction on my ICICI Credit Card.
I have given complaint to Customer Care also. Complaint Case: SR#[protected]. I have logged complaint to Pune Police regarding this.

I have purchased a Kodak Digital Camera through ICICI bank credit card. The bank and kodak has advertised in almost all the news paper about this offer that if you purchase using card the amount will be converted to 24/36 EMIs.
I have purchased the camera on 22/04/07 and made the payment through credit card by using 24 EMI option.
The option is clearly printed on my bank slip. But now the bank has refused to convert this amount of 8999/- into 24 EMI. There reply was that the merchant "Central Studio Bhopal" may not be having proper machine for swapping the card in EMI mode.
On contacting the merchant he showed me the machine and confirmed that the option is available and
he had rightly selected 24 EMI as printed on my card.
I am regular user of the card since last 3 years but this experience has shaken my confidence on the ICICI Credit cards.
The Kodak advertised this scheme in many national news papers. I am posting this to alert other customer to doubly sure before doing any transaction.

I know this might be the first complaint against, icici bank, money2india, but be careful with your investment with icici bank. I have initiated money transfer transaction by money2india account, but money never been sent to the beneficiary. The bank were claiming that there was no beneficiary / address was incorrect / bank refuse to accept the dd, some of this reasons. After receiving email from icicibank([protected]@icicibank.com) regarding my transaction, i called up india and inquire about the beneficiary account information and account number if it was incorrect. But there was no difference in the detail that i provided. I wrote back email regarding that but never got replied back, then i called up to inquire about the dd that was returned, but spoke to one of the rep. Name mohammed, and he promised to solve the problem asap within 48 hours. I called up after week again since no one received the dd to inquire, but no response, they were claiming that they never received any email or phone call from me. So i provided them all the information again, but no action. I called up again and talk to one of the customer lady, name roshan, she promised me to send dd asap and got service request number. No response toward that either, wrote emails, but no response, i am still hopping to get my money back, trying to talk to everyone of the people there, but they are mentioning they don't have any record regarding the emails i sent to the icici bank. Every person i speak to on the phone promise me, but no one is doing the job.
Imagine if your loved one needs money asap and if they are in need of money very bad, imagine what would happen? Do you people think that this bank is reliable to do business any kind of money transactions? I would never do it again, i am still hopping to get my money back that i tried to send to my family who's in need so bad.
Icici bank is not a reliable bank at all for any kind of money investments or bank transactions or money transfer. . .
Last 10 days has been absolutely nightmare for me, one of your ICICI credit card department employee has forged my signatures on application form to make a credit card sale. Over that they have the photo copy of my Citi Gold card with the credit limit of more than 4 lacs.
I was contacted by one of the ICICI executive last week again and requested for the photo copies for my Citi Gold card as they had lost my documents which I gave them last month for ICICI platinum card. Apparently he also had a good look at my CV number on the pretext of verifying my signatures. All my desperate moves to contact ICICI and inform the fraud ended in misery as all I got was assurance of call backs and no action.
Following are the detail of the ICICI staff I contacted with no assistance:

Pls call me ASAP before I am robbed by ICICI. There wont be any more contacts made by me anymore but will have my lawyer send you a legal notice soon.

This is suresh one of your customer purchased two wheeler & insurance. I have gone to your office at nungumbakkam icici lombard office to collect my original insurance paper. The following are the service provided by your customer service executive D.MERCY.
1. A customer came to renewal is insurance without seeing the date properly she refused to take the insurance & talking aggressively as if the customer add made a mistake. After the customer as pointed out the date she came to know her fault.
2. After attending a call she shouts in the reception with is co-staff saying about the customer who called her in the phone stating "he as purchased Bence & applied for 40000 insurance for two wheeler 1500 rs he is talking like a big person" in a disgraceful manner that to in front a customer waiting for is two wheeler insurance. This is the way a customer service executive will shout in reception having two wheeler customer, if u take only bence car insurance put a board we don't come to u.
It was been an insulting experience for me waiting there. Having a name MERCY she doesn't have any patients to be a CSE. I have decided that this will be first & last two wheeler insurance with icici. When her co staff says that customer is sitting when she comments she shows her body language in such a way what a customer can do.
So please take some action in reflect to we customer have respect & faith in your company.
ICICI Lombard has asked me to get a medical insurance plan, and the same has been done. But from the next day the policy i asked to get for me stands cancelled as per my requests. The company itself had also issued me a letter regarding the same, that the policy issued to me stands cancelled from the said date.
After that i myself made several complaints to the customer care of ICICI Lombard and ICICI Bank, but always provided a reference number stating your complaint is registered and the same is forwarded to the ICICI Lombard and ICICI Bank both.
Later i filed a case in consumer forum and send the copy of the case to the ICICI Bank Videocon Tower Delhi, ICICI Bank Race Course Circle Vadoddara, ICICI Lombard Kheshavrao Khadye Marg Mahalaxmi Mumbai.
The Bank is now started sending recovery guys from various agencies to my home in the odd hours, which crates a lots of nuisance in my house and the surroundings i belong to and livein.
I'm also copying the scanned papers i send by UPC and registered AD to both the parties earlier.
A worst bank and GIC company ever seen in my life.
I was called by ICICI LOMBARD Insurance company Bangalore along with my family and they said you have selected for free insurance of 1 lakh by luckey dip through AIR TEL life time pre-paid service bearing no: [protected]. They made all inquires and offered me some insurance to buy. I was not interest on this.
Then they given me a policy paper and also infirmed" you will get the original paper by courier." Almost 60 days over not yet received any thing so for. Very poor service!
