Harbortouch Payments review: Billing, poor customer service.

This company is a criminal organization in my opinion. In August 2026, I received a charge of $1285 on my statement. I called them immediately to ask why I had incurred such a large charge. They claimed the fee was a maintenance fee for the previous year of service. The previous year( Aug 2025) they did something similar.I received a charge of $700 and the charge was removed only after I agreed to extend my contract for 1 year.
This time I told them I wanted to cancel service. They told me it was too late .They placed me on auto renew without my permission. I explained my contract didn't end until October 2026, but they didn't seem to care, telling me it was too late. They agreed to refund only $340 of the money they stole from my account, and that was the only thing they were willing to do. Despite them stating I couldn't cancel, I returned my equipment, and haven't done any transactions since speaking to them about the illegal charge on my account. They have continued to charge me $85.00 per month despite me returning the equipment, and doing no transactions whatsoever.
I called them again and expressed my desire to cancel their service. They stated if I decided to cancel a additional cancellation fee of $2400 would apply.
So here is a summary:
1. Harbor Touch ( Also known as Shift 4) illegally charged my account $1285 in August.
2. They illegally extended my contract without my permission.
3. They refused to cancel the contract they extended , even though my 2025 contract didn't end until Oct. 2026
6. They have continued to charge me ($85.00 per month...the charge I received for renting their equipment despite me returning their equipment, and verifying they received it )
7. Upon my additional continued request
of cancellation they stated a $2400 fee would apply despite them illegally extending my contract, and my previous contract not ending until Oct. 2026.)
This merchant is a criminal organization and deserves to be prosecuted in my opinion..
