Haggerty Windows & Siding

My experience was concernin with this company, especialy as a Black woman. I felt interrogated by the person providing my quote because I bought a home in a nice neighborhood. The individual had a printed copy of my home's report from Polk County Assessors site in his file. I was repeatedly questioned about my status, background, and employment by the individual. He also walked into my home without my consent. I will not be doing business with this company.

We had our house sided this summer by Haggerty Windows and Siding and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. We did our research on siding companies and got three quotes. Haggerty's pricing was very competitive and they went above and beyond to make sure they addressed our needs and requests. The salesman and the owners made selecting our siding a breeze. The project took a bit longer than we expected, but seeing the quality of work being put in and not being rushed through gave us peace of mind knowing it was being done properly and with care, rather than just rushing to the next job. This was our first time working with Haggerty and it was a pleasant experience. We would definitely recommend them for future projects.

I had a not so good experience with Haggerty. Gonna try to be factual and all, but it might be hard. My roof got messed up by hail, so I got referred to them by a co-worker I trust. They sent an inspector real quick, gave a quote, and my insurance approved the work. We picked the materials and colors, and the delivery was on time. They started the work in November , but it's still not finished. The roof went up pretty fast, with a few fixes needed, but it was alright. They were supposed to replace four downspouts, but they didn't, and it's been over 9 months now. They also didn't replace the leaf guards in all the gutters, and some gutters got clogged with roof junk, causing overflow and messing up the yard. The yard was a mess too, with debris, tacks, and nails left behind. I'm still finding nails and I hope my dog doesn't step on one. In the spring, we reached out to them to finish the job, and they said sorry and all, but nothing happened even after lots of emails. We were holding back $5,000 until they finished, but I paid them $4,000 in good faith (regretting it now). They finally sent a guy to measure the downspouts and check the missing gutter guards. He was nice and made promises, but the work still ain't done. They said our job was too small to get attention (even though it wasn't when we started). I told Haggerty that I won't release the final $1,000 because of the crazy delay. I hoped they would do the right thing as a local company, but they didn't. Now I gotta hire someone else to finish the job (and maybe even sue them in small claims court for the extra costs). Can't recommend this company, sadly. They almost did it right, but they really messed up in the end.
