Walmart green dot bank/ waiting 3 weeks for a new card

I had a fraudulent transaction on my account from Microsoft store. I called green dot to dispute the charges. The rep said no problem and deactivated my card. Then supposed sent me out another card. The card never got to me because there was some technical difficulties. The next week they sent me another card, everyday I called the card was shipped and I had to wait for this or that day. The fifth day I call there was another technical difficulty that transpired. So my called was "expedited" and was supposed to come in 3 business days. Still nothing. I have no money at all. I have my money deposited from work in to the money card (green dot bank). A rep just told me today to purchase another card then they would be able to send my money through the account that was just purchased. That was a lie. I have no money to even open up another account with any other bank. I am so stressed and hurt that something like this can happen with Walmart like this. I will be talking to a lawyer to process legal actions. They hangs up on and have me on hold for 1-2 hours at a time. I am so furious about what is happening. I have bills I am behind in and late fees are piling up. These people need to be in jail for the fraud they are commenting. These people are sadly mistaken if they think I'm not gonna get my money back.
Desired outcome: I will like to get my money out of the account and switch my money and deposits to a real bank. I have read multiple complaints that are quite similar to mine. This is so wrong what they are doing.
Prepaid card locked then closed
My income tax refund was deposited into this account after using my card a few times it was blocked I sent in ID verification multiple times they keep saying it won’t verify then someone told me my id was fake which was a lie. Now they’ve closed my account with money in it. I call repeatedly and stay on hold for 2 hours at a time it has been over a month.

The end of July while I was in the hospital my green dot card was hacked they took over $1300 I've been trying to get a new card and my money back since then but I keep getting the run around that they are having technical difficulties they've told me that 3 different cards were on there way but never arrived nor did my money I called again today and got the same story it will be there by the 31st my next step is filing a complaint with the attorney general.. this is so wrong in every way they have stole my money that was my SS money and my bill and food money.. this is not a bank they are rip off artists

The TurboTax greendot card
On August 9, 2023, I received a refund from the IRS for an amended 2021 tax return. Upon contacting the IRS regarding the refund's delivery method, I was informed that it would be through direct deposit with a routing number associated with Greendot. Despite never requesting a Greendot card, I attempted to reach out to them for assistance but encountered difficulties finding the correct contact information. After connecting with TurboTax and finally obtaining the correct number, I discovered that the funds had been returned to the IRS on August 15, 2023. Greendot representative Nicole advised me to contact the IRS for further details. Upon informing the IRS about the returned funds, they informed me that a check would be issued once the funds were confirmed. As of August 25, 2023, I have not received the check and contacted Greendot again to verify the status. After speaking with Nicole, it was determined that the funds were still on the card. I expressed my frustration as I had previously been informed that the funds had been returned and was awaiting a check. Nicole offered to issue a new card with the updated address, with the option of overnight delivery for a fee. I expressed my hesitation to pay the fee as I felt the situation was a result of Greendot's error and that I had attempted to address the issue promptly. I believe it is necessary for a company of Greendot's size to handle such situations more efficiently and effectively. I called today on 08/25/2023 and spoke with someone by the name of Vile and she informed me that she didn’t see anything in the system with my name and information and also the account number that was provided by the IRS was invalid. Now I’m trying to see what’s going on and how can one representative see one thing but the other can not, this doesn’t make any sense

My account has recently been blocked due to suspicion activity yet after waiting on hold for 3 hours they can not tell me what transactions were suspicious (because there was none) they guaranteed my account would be unblocked in 2 business days once I submit my id, did that been 2 days and I then tried to log into my account to get a notification saying my account was closed... There is $513 in my account that I cant get out. They are scamming people. My husband is in the exact same situation with $447 in his. This is bull crap. They need a civil lawsuit brought against them.

Liars, Closed account, Won’t return Money
For weeks, I’ve been trying to get thru and they have you on hold for HOURS! Then answer and put you back on hold just for the call to be disconnected. They gave me wrong information to schedule a payment on their [censored] [censored], bill pay that never went thru. I called to notify them that the payment wasn’t received and the then closed my account and requesting me to send documents to mail me what was left on account. However, they then give you the runaround with your documents
Desired outcome: I want my money back and I won’t to file a complaint with the better business bureau

I have had an account with green dot for several years now with no issues. Today my available balance was over $1400. I got an email stating that an autopay I had set up was declined. I checked my account and found that I have zero dollars in it. There are no fraudulent charges or transactions shown. My card hasn't even been used in days. The money just disappeared. I have been trying for over a day to speak with customer service and cannot get in touch with an actual person. I'm either on hold for 2 hours or the chat option on the app does not work. I am a single mother with 2 kids and no way to access my money or find out what happened.. please tell me where I can go to resolve this

The day of 08/03/2023, I was on my lunch break, and grabbed some food from Filiberto’s, as I was in line I went to my Walmart Money app and noticed my available balance was $75.35. I then started to look at the merchant and it said Microsoft Store for a total of 10 charges, and 1 charge from Clothing company.
I called Walmart to cancel my card information immediately, and I then asked the agent if I could file a dispute which she informed me that the charges needed to be posted first before starting a dispute. At that time all charges from Microsoft and clothing company were all PENDING.
I then contacted the clothing company Zulily ($32.73) charged, which I spoke with a female who then said their finance team had noticed already that it was a fraud account trying to purchase items using my banking information. So she then said the money will be credited back to your account in 3-7 business days.
I then tried and tried and tried to contact Microsoft which you don’t get to talk to live agent, it’s all online through chat. So I had inform them of the charges on my account that we unauthorized, and then the chat said someone will contact you from 2-3business days. So I waited and waited for someone to call me, days go by, and i’m trying to chat with the agent about my fraud charges. It was a struggle to get someone to call me. So finally an agent contacted me and stated that I needed to file a dispute with my bank (Walmart Green Dot) in order for me to get refund. The agent name was Raj, Case# [protected], is the case number that I needed to give to the bank per Raj. Raj said they weren’t able to refund the amount $1,185.65, because he said that individuals names are John/Mariam, who I never knew anyone by those names. So Raj, said that he would need the code to John/Mariam microsoft account in order to process a refund! I was referred to contact the bank because Microsoft stated that this is a fraud charge to my banking account.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration, I have been with GreenDot for many many years and I hate that this has happen to me. I really would love to stay with Walmart Green Dot because I receive good benefits with this GreenDot. 2 days early paycheck and points towards my cash back awards.
Please I really hope this process does go through for the sake of my children, my children’s and I are going to wait for the refund to post and my new card to come in! That money was suppose to go towards a good cause of paying my rent and also doing some back to school shopping. So with being said my Rent was due on the 08/03/2023, which my account was hacked so my landlord had pushed it out until 7-14 business days. Please I pray to God we get this money back.
I have called customer service since 08/03/2023: spoke with agent who stated that they will be sending out a new card, waited for the card which never came, called again 08/13/2023, the supervisor informed me that she was going to send out a new card cancelling out the first card. Today is 08/21/2023, I DON'T HAVE A CARD AT THIS TIME. STILL WAITING. SPOKE WITH AGENT TODAY AND ALL I TOLD WAS THAT THEY ARE WORKING ON IT AND IT SHOULD BE HERE TODAY. UPS AND FED EX HAS CAME THROUGH MY HOME AND THEY DID NOT BRING ME A NEW CARD.
I SENT MY DISPUTE LETTER THROUGH EMAIL WAS I WAS TOLD TO DO SO WITH THE AGENT I SPOKE TOO, IN WHICH THE AGENT HAD GIVEN ME THR WRONG INFORMATION WHICH NEEDED TO BE MAILED, I MAILED OUT MY LETTER OF DISPUTE 08/15/2023 FOR 2 DAY DELIVERY FEE OF $176.23. AND I WAS TOLD BY THE AGENT THAT THEY STILL DON'T HAVE THE LETTER OF DISPUTE ATTACHED. I NEED RESOLUTION HERE WITH MY ACCOUNT. I HAVE BEEN WITH GREENDOT FOR OVER 10 YEARS!

Something is going on with Walmart green dot. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for a "new card" on the fifth day they have been lying saying they are some technical difficulties so they have to reship the card. How can there be any technical difficulties of the card was already sent out. I have spoken with 15 + different people (at least they give me different names) and every one tells me a new lie every time I call. They have me on hold for 1 - 2 hours then hangs up on me. I purchased a new card today because a rep told me that I would be able to get my money out of the account this way. She lied. I can not do anything with my money. Why are they fraud or how can they do this to us? I am in tears..I don't know what to do.

I have a Green Dot account debit card and I received a cash app cash out immediately it has not gotten into my bank GreenDot has not answered their phone Green Dot does not answer their chat Green Dot does not take any of their messages I have not heard anything from them August 7th I haven't heard anything from them at all no calls are ever answered you're only put on hold with some music and then the phone will actually cut off and nobody ever answers the phone they don't answer the chat so how am I supposed to get this issue resolved I have a transaction ID number from cash app stating it went through to the bank it has never been in my account and I need that money desperately so what can I do to get this issue resolved

On August 18,2023 I purchased a greendot card from dollar general. After trying to activate the card, it said it was already registered and to login to my account. I immediately took the card back to the store and they told me to call the number on the back of card. After calling the card, they told me there was a pin created and I shared it with someone, which is fase information. Then they told me to email them a copy of receipt and picture ofcthe card back and front. As of today , August 21, 2003, I have not receive a refund and been told that my account is closed.
Greendot checking
I received a text from greendot indicating a suspicious charge for $1. I didn't recognize it so I texted no and tried to call them. They blocked my account so I have been unable to get gas to get home. I have been sitting in a gas station for more than 10 hours trying to contact greendot but after at least a 30 minute wait time every single call they instantly transfer me and leave me on hold for hours. I still have not gotten through to anyone willing or able to help. I have plenty of money in the account but it does not help if I can't get through to anyone to unblock my card.
Desired outcome: I just want to use my card so I can go home.

I have not had access to my account with you guys for 3 weeks . All of my paychecks are direct deposit to my wal-mart money card that’s ran by Green Dot. My electricity is about to be turned off. And my car payment is 2 weeks late because of this problem. I’m waiting on a replacement card because mine got damaged. I requested it twice to no avail . I even paid a $15.00 rush fee and never got it. No one is answering the phone when I call you using the green dot card number or the wal-mart money card number ? Please help. I thought I was just putting a prepaid only credit card in the shopping cart. well it's debit/visa and everyone says it's the same. however i only wanted a credit card. greendot went ahead and started a checking account and i don't want one plus I read people's reviews and greendot sounds like a bad business. it wasn't activated and it's destroyed. don't do people that way.

Closed account.
I opened and account with Greendot June 2023. I never used the account but had my IRS refund check to be deposited there. On July 26, 2023 a loan company approached me about a loan with a very good interest rate. I applied to Lending Nation but then changed my mind. They threatened me, then used my info to hack all my accounts including Green Dot. The automated system at customer service number will not recognize my card number or SSN
I have received nothing from them as to why they even closed the account. My IRS check was sent August 16, 2023. Account number was [protected]

Green dot card money taken off of the card $551

Green Dot Unlimited Debit Card
There is some type of restriction on my account where I can’t access available funds.
I have reached out to customer service and online chat. The online chat team said that no restrictions are showing on my account and customer service transferred me to another team.
After waiting on hold for over FOUR HOURS, someone picked up and then disconnected the call.
Desired outcome: I want access to my money in order to make online transactions and withdraw money from the ATM as needed.
My money was stolen
On Feb 14,2023 i found out that over 16,000 was taken off my 4 green dot cards. I sold my house. I reported it that. Was told it would take about 45 days to investigate. It is now six months from the time i reported it. On Aug 4th i received an email requesting some documents and telling me i had two days to turn it in or my case was going to be closed. And that they would contact me two days after they received them. On Aug 14th i sent an email staying i sent all the documents in and have not heard anything back. On Aug 15th i got an email stateing my request cant be completed due to one of the following reasons. 1 Documents not legible 2. No Documents received 3. Missing documents 4. Invailed documemts. For further assistence call the number on the back on the card. On Aug 15 i email back and told them i cant get ahold of anyone at that number. I am on the phone as i write this and no one has answeref the phone yet it went striaght to music. And i have been on the phone now for 47 mins and 45 seconds!. I have tryied to look up other numbers for green dot and they are changed or disconnected. I am homeless since this all happened back in Feb. And i told them that then and i am still telling them that. But now my van is broke down and got towed! I am really thinking about calling a lawyer to sue green dot over this. I need help please! Greendot Go2 have locked my account for suspicious activity which was no suspicious activity. I did all the transactions I got $54,000 IRS check I spent $30,000 there’s 16,000 left and they will not release my money my funds in any way shape or form. They tell me I need to contact the IRS or I need to contact the originator of the funds and they need to ask for a recall, which doesn’t even happen. I’ve spent the last 33 days every single day all day long trying to figure out how I can get my money from these people never use greendot Bank ever it’s horrible the stress I’ve gone through is horrendous I call every day they won’t unlock my account and they won’t give me my money. This has been 33 days and 38 days.
Desired outcome: I want them to settle with me, giving me money for my stress and sleepless nights waste of time, they deserve be shut down

May 19 2023 I contacted green dot to get a new card and check my balance because I've been in jail for traffic tickets since sept 2022 and released may 18 2023. call rep informed me I had no money in account and its been used. when I was asked to verify my account, my address and phone number was changed as well as pin code. So I was transferred to dispute department and the account was closed reasoning was account takeover. After coming to terms with that. the dispute department start my dispute totaling around 19,000. I was told to send supporting documents within ten days postal mail to be qualify for temporary credit. May 20 2023 I overnighted my id, certificate of release from jail showing proof I was incarcerated during the time my card was used. I also sent handwritten statement expressing I did not authorize anyone to use my card. May 29,2023 exactly 10 days after I filed a dispute green dot lied said they didnt receive my supporting documents and closed my claim was denied. june 16,2023 I contacted greendot resolution department to discuss the wrongful investigation in my claim. July 13 2023 I spoke to a rude woman named connie she said that my claim could not be reopen because I did not provide supporting documents she hung up in my face. 08/15/2023 I contacted greendot again and I was told that that it will be reopened please allow ten days for a resolution. and then I called back to comfirm the details on my claim
