Customer service is awful. I've sent several emails with no answer. I ordered on January 10th, it's now February 3rd and I have no update on one of my items. The one email they've replied to is that "I can see packages were delivered" which is correct- 2/3 were delivered and the other tracking number still states that it's pending. I've had good experiences until lately. I ordered a pair of jeans and I made a mistake in the address. During the transit to destination, someone sent an email from GA apologizing for the delay, to which I responded it was my mistake and gave the correct address. The mistake was not able to be corrected in time and the package went back to GA. I have reached out over 5 times to get resolution and 0 answers. I have replied to their emails and submitted requests through their website "Contact Us".

I cannot express how disappointed i am with the service of this company. They are impossible to contact. They have NO phone number, and they will not respond to my emails. I order a pair of jeans and they shipped on 10/22. Today is 11/9. They have been sitting at the same Fed Ex location since 10/24. They have not moved at all. Fed Ex has obviously lost them. I would like a refund and I have emailed Good American Jeans many times with no response. I will never buy anything from them again. So very frustrating.

I received the jeans in a reasonable amount of time, but they did not fit so I returned them via their required shipping protocol via USPS on June 1 at 3:55 pm which says it was delivered. I sent an email - with no response, And no credit to my account. WTF?!? It is a shame you have to write a review on Complaintsboard.com to get a response!

They responded by telling me it ships within 3, which didn't make sense because we were on business day 4 (calendar day 6). I received emails asking if I liked my order a week later, I still hadn't received nor was it shipped. After 2 weeks of it not shipping and my card being charged I emailed and asked to be refunded. After 2 business days they responded with a refund, but didn't explain what happened or why it never shipped. Everything seemed so out of sync with what the site promotes vs what happened with no explanation of delays. Very bait and switch.

AWFUL customer service! As many other reviews read, their customer service is essentially nonexistent. Seeing Good American's response to others, let me unequivocally say I have NOT received a response from Good American despite reaching out to them THREE separate times regarding my order that seems to be lost. So, if Good American responds to this review and says they did email me back "the same day" as they keep responding to others, let me make it clear that they are lying and they DID NOT email me back. I have checked my inbox, junk, spam, etc, and there is no email from them. They promise on their website to email back within 1 business day, but this has not happened. Do better.

I am disgusted as someone who owns a business and deals primarily with online sales. I think this is a spam and fraud. They send relentless emails and offers and at the end it locks at check out or again never puts through your order. I would suggest someone look into the company I suspect FRAUD!

I ordered on February 5th. After contacting GA asking why didn't receive my order, Sandra replied order was shipped and should be receiving soon. I received the order the day I left for vacation February 19th. I returned 2 weeks later. On March 12 (21 days from receiving shipment) I realized the sizes were not consistent and needed to return couple of the jeans. I could not exchange due to 21 days from shipping. This is ridiculous since it took a week to receive. If received in a reasonable time from ordering, would not have lost return time while on vacation. I emailed them expressing will lose me as a customer and have been ordering GA from Nordstrom's for a long time. I received an "auto" generated reply. Terrible experience.

Ordered from Good American for the first time. The process seemed seamless and the shipping was fast. Unfortunately I was missing one item from my order. Upon notifying customer service, they stated that they saw my order was delivered and suggested I check with my neighbors. After clarifying that I received my order, but only received 4 of the 5 items, I was asked to file a claim so that they could "investigate". Upon investigation "Sandra" stated that she could issue a store credit instead of a replacement because the item was out of stock. However I was able to add this item into my cart upon checking online. After notifying Sandra of this and requesting a replacement since the item indeed appeared in stock, I have not heard back from her. All other email inquiries over the course of 3 days have gone unanswered.

I need to return a pair of jeans I purchased. To complete a return online it requires me to put in the order #. I never received a confirmation e-mail, I only knew the order was received because my account was charged. There is no packing slip in the bag so between the two I do not have an order # to reference. The website says either my email or password is incorrect. I only have one email so I requested to reset my PW. They claim a link will be sent to my email but it never comes. I’ve emailed them 3x and sent two text messages but only receive automated replies that a team member will be in touch which they have not. Returns must be returned within 21 days. I only have a few days left. I think that is their standard way of operating, no help within the 31 days and you can no longer receive a refund.

So, I tried to get myself a pair of jeans from Good American, but it didn't go as planned. I ordered them twice, but both times my order got canceled. It's a bummer, really. It feels like the company is making big promises, but they can't seem to follow through. It's a shame, because I was really looking forward to getting those jeans.

But I gotta say, Good American got some decent stuff on their website. I copped a pair of their high waisted jeans and they fit like a glove. Plus, they got a good range of sizes for all the ladies out there. And the quality is pretty good too, not gonna lie. I've washed them a few times and they still look brand new.
I also checked out their activewear section and was pleasantly surprised. The leggings are thick enough to not show any panty lines (thank god) and the sports bras actually hold the girls in place. And they got some cute colors too, not just basic black and gray.
The only downside is the price. It's definitely on the higher end, but I guess you get what you pay for. And they do have sales every now and then, so keep an eye out for those. Overall, I'd say Good American is worth checking out if you're in the market for some new clothes. Just don't expect to find anything groundbreaking or super unique.

I ordered $500 worth of stuff from Good American between 6/30 and 7/4. The second package I ordered (on 7/4) arrived this past Monday (5 business days after it was ordered). The stuff I ordered on 6/30 has not arrived yet. I also paid for ground shipping. The tracking info is not helpful. And FedEx is less than helpful (stating that the package departed a town two hours away from me on July 8). I contacted Good American and when the responded, responded with information about the order that I already received, even though the order number for the items I was calling about was in the subject line. I responded with screenshots of the FedEx tracking info and the correct number and they still haven't responded. I can't get ahold of them to figure out how to handle it. And to top it all off, FedEx told me that even though I paid for ground shipping, they shipped my items using standard shipping which partners with the post office. So they pocketed the money I spent on shipping.

Much like many others with the same issue as far as ordering & shipping goes, I ordered from Good American the first week of February and my order states it was shipped on 2/12/22 wi Ty a delivery window of 3-5 days. I then received a number with tracking stating it would arrive on 2/18/22. It is now 2/22/22 and my tracking isn't available, *** says it has NOT received my package or even a label yet, and Good American has not gotten back to my numerous emails. I would just like a full refund at this time and will not be ordering from them again. I placed my order in well due time to receive it by my event date (which is in two days), and it's nowhere to be found, yet they have charged me for $111 dollars without hesitation. Bad business model if you ask me, and shop with a lot of high end retailers.

After emailing 2 more times without an answer, I received a refund for the shipping costs, which I thanked the team for, and then quickly received an email to review their service (Interesting that they are capable of emailing promptly when it involves reviewing their company). Hello, I purchased a pair of Jeans from Good American on 12/25. The company sent me an email stating that my order was delivered on Friday January 7th. I never received the package. I have contacted Good American over 6 times to request a refund being that the package has not arrived in time to gift to ***. I was contacted by 1 individual stating that I would hear back from someone in 5 days post their investigation. I was contacted by a 2nd person who completely ignored my previous email requests for a refund. I was told that he was going to reship the item and that I would not receive a tracking number because the order is a reship. I immediately responded back to inform him that I am not interested in a reship and that in every email I requested a refund. It has been multiple days now and all of my emails are being ignored. I have also not received a reshipped item. I would like a refund back to my original method of payment.

I sent another email after speaking with the shipping company on the 18th, letting them know that the shipping company says it is lost and needs the shipper to initiate an investigation. The way their website is set up, it took my ApplePay information and charged me immediately without giving me a chance to verify that the information was correct. This led to an incorrect shipping address. I immediately (within 5 minutes) emailed Good American (there is no chat or phone option to get in touch with them). No response for 2 days, so I emailed again 9/25. On 9/27 I received a response "We're super quick at processing your order and getting it shipped to you as soon as possible, this means we are unable to change your address at this time." The order has not been shipped. I responded to their email immediately and have gotten no response for >24 hours. The location to which it is being shipped is not where I live and is notorious for losing packages. Clearly I can't rely on Good American to not charge me if/when the package is lost. This is an issue with their website that I am being punished for.

I ordered it to wear to an event on 10/1, so I requested to cancel it on 9/27 as it wouldn't arrive in time anyway and I'm super unimpressed by the business and don't want to support them. They told me it wasn't possible to cancel because my order had already started processing, but I could return the item (and pay a restocking fee) once I received it. Its been a week and a half since then with no change in order status. I have attempted to order jeans from this company twice. The first time was on May 24, when I placed an order. I received an email on May 26 indicating that the delivery might be delayed due to unspecified issues. On June 9, I reached out again to inquire about the shipping status as the item had not yet been dispatched. I received an automated reply stating that shipping could take up to six days, although it had already been 12 days since my order was placed. Later that same day, I was informed via email that my order had been canceled because the company did not have sufficient stock to fulfill it. Eventually, I received a full refund on June 23. This was particularly disappointing as I was eager to try their jeans. More recently, I placed another order on December 7. I have just been notified that this order too has been canceled, and once again, no explanation was provided. I would appreciate a response from the company explaining why they continue to be unable to fulfill orders and why they cancel orders without providing any reason.

Back in July my mother placed an order for a pair of good 90s jeans in a size 8 for me . She received $50 off for being a new customer. Upon receiving the jeans they were very small so we attempted to exchange them for a larger size . Every single pair was sold out so we had to do a refund and she lost out on restocking and shipping . She then bought a size 12 for me a month and a half later. These were way too big. So In a last attempt I ordered a size 8 with klarna 30 day trial on Sept. 18th to see if they fit otherwise we were going to send both pairs back. On sept 26th I emailed letting them know I put the wrong address on the order and asked them to change it. They emailed me back on the 28th saying they could not do anything even though it showed they hadn't even shipped the item. I continued to email every day to cancel my order and never got a response until Oct. 8th and all they sent was instructions to return an item I never received !I still have not heard about a refund!

I ordered from Good American on 9/1 - I ordered 2 pairs of pants and 1 sweater. I received my order on 9/17. The pair of pants did not appear to match the product description on the website. I reached out to Good American that day (9/17) and received a response on 9/20 that I was sent the correct pair of pants, however, they would start a return if I wished. I responded that same day with photos of the pants from the website compared to what I had received. The photos on the website did not show slits up the side of the leg, the pants I received did have slits. I wanted to show the difference and exchange for the correct pair of pants I ordered. I did not hear back from Good American and reached out 9/22. After 2 more days without a response I sent another email requesting some type of communication on 9/24. I have not heard back from Good American since 9/20, it is now 10/1. I simply would like to receive some form of communication regarding the discrepancy in pants.

There was no documentation in the package that would allow me to request an exchange. When emailing the 'help' email on the website, I received an automated message with return instructions with no mention of the exchange process. There is no customer service phone number that would allow customers to resolve issues more efficiently. This is frustrating. I had used a coupon code as a first time customer so I would prefer to utilize an exchange process versus returning and re-ordering as I will have to pay more since the coupon code is no longer valid. Receiving a defective item in the first place is frustrating when spending over $100 on jeans is frustrating as there should be quality control measures in place order#XXXXXX

I contacted the company once about my package being stuck in a location for a week. I participated in the sample sale as did my sister ( we live together) on 06/19, on 6/22 I received an email that my package had shipped. I did see the disclosures about shipping delays and considered it standard. However when my sister could see her package moving though the system even after hers was shipped on 6/23 an entire 24 hours after mine! I contacted the company to voice my concern about my package being stuck in Indiana for a week on 6/26 they replied 4 days later on 6/30 with a tracking number that hasn't even arrived at USPS via their vendor.I was advised of a "glitch" with USPS which they said didn't exist when I contacted them directly. To this date my package has not moved. The shipping number provided is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. What concerns me is my sister received hers yet I'm being asked to wait although the issue is clear. I sent other emails that have not been responded to yet.

I purchased an item, returned it, but was not given correct refund or store credit
I purchased an item, returned it, but was not given correct refund or store credit. On January 13, I purchased a coat (size 0) for *** and my order number is XXXXXX. The coat was too small, so I went to the website to activate a return label and instead of selecting the option to receive a refund, I selected the option of the "instant refund" and/or gift credit so that I could buy the same coat in a larger size (size 1). I ordered the size 1 coat and it was processed as order number XXXXXX. Unfortunately, the size 1 coat was too small as well, so I returned it and was issued *** credit. I am totally confused and don't know what the *** is for, but I an entitled to a much larger refund (minus any shipping charges) or another gift credit. I have tried to resolve this and I have been unsuccessful. The website "contact us" email is an "auto reply" so I am not having an actual conversation with a person so this is very frustrating and there is no telephone number either. Attached are photos of everything I've stated.

I have purchased more than $300 worth of product from this company and my most recent order was for their sale promotion where I spent about $70
I have purchased more than $300 worth of product from this company and my most recent order was for their sale promotion where I spent about $70 on a pair of jeans. I immediately realized there was an error in my shipping address and sent an email immediately asking for them to update the address (literally two minutes after placing the order). Their email robo response says there is nothing that can be edited or done once an order is placed. It says it could take them days to actually respond to the email and by then the product will be in another state delivered to who knows where. The only way I can get a refund is by returning the actual product that I'm never going to receive. What kind of legitimate business treats customers like this? I want either the shipping address to be updated and to simply receive the product I paid for or to be refunded for their poor operational logistics. There is no way to contact anyone by phone. One of the most frustrating purchase experiences I've ever had and their product is not cheap so I wouldn't expect this level of scam to be involved.

I placed an order with good american and received a confirmation notice that my order *** had shipped on 02/13. I did not receive any notification that the item had been delivered so on 02/24 I checked the tracking and it says my purchase had been delivered. I did not receive the package. I contacted them through the online contact us section on their website straightaway and received a link to a claim form from *** on 02/24 which I filled out and submitted this within a couple of hours. I replied to the customer service response but did not get anything back. I have emailed them again and still not received a response. I also contacted them again through the contact us section on their website and have not received a response. There is no contact number anywhere and I don't know how else to contact them to resolve this. I took a chance on some expensive jeans and it's turned in to a lot of hassle. I would like to receive the items.

10/19 I placed an order that included 2 pairs of jeans. 10/21 I received an email that 1 item shipped. 10/27 I received the 1 item that was shipped. After patiently waiting for my 2nd item I reached out to Good american through their only source of contact: email. 11/11 I emailed asking for the order to be refunded as I no longer needed those jeans as I needed them for an event that was coming 11/15. I received an automated response that sent me info with my tracking number for the item I had already received. After the automated response that said there were higher than normail wait times for responses and I would be contacted in 2 days. 11/25 I still had not received a response from Good American so I once again sent an email asking for a refund or cancellation of the order. 11/30 I still had not received a response. I understand I reached out on a holiday but as I still had not received a response from my first email I started a chat online with Good American. At 12:29 CST I sent questions regarding the 2nd part of my order ad as of 1:04 PM CST I still have not received a response.

Repeated order cancellations from an online retailer for Good American brand
My attempts to purchase from Good American have been thwarted by repeated order cancellations. Initially, I ordered through an online retailer, but my purchase was abruptly cancelled. Contacting customer service via email through the brand's website only yielded generic responses about order processing. Despite assurances, my order was cancelled again. A subsequent attempt to buy the product resulted in another cancellation, this time with an email citing fraudulent activity as the cause. Further inquiries for clarification went unanswered, leaving me unable to resolve the issue or expedite my refund. The retailer's immediate cancellation of my second order suggests a lack of due diligence in investigating the supposed fraud. This experience reflects poorly on both the retailer and Good American, especially considering the retailer's partnership with the brand and my existing account with them. This is my first purchase attempt with Good American, and the customer service has been disappointingly unresponsive.

I purchased a pair jeans, returned them brand new and never worn and they refuse to give a refund. I purchased a pair of jeans online on March 19 under order #XXXXXXX-A, item #XXXXXXX, ***. They were too tight and I didn't like the fabric. I used their shipping label to return the jeans and mailed them from the ***t office on April 4. They initially gave me a credit on the site pending a refund. I then was notified on May 2 that the credit was cancelled and there would be no refund since I never returned the jeans within the 35 day window of time. This was said notwithstanding the fact that I mailed the jeans with their own shipping label within 23 days of my order. Good American jeans told me to keep the jeans. I emailed them on May 2 to complain that I couldn't keep the jeans since I didn't have them. They were shipped to Good American in a timely manner on April 4. I was told almost three weeks ago that they would be looking into it and I never heard from them again. I have no jeans. They were not final sale. They were refundable. I want the refund since I returned the jeans using their shipping label. I am not responsible for how long it takes for them to restock the jeans and inventory them. I want a full refund of the jeans in the amount of $146.16. Thank you.

Requested a refund because I did not receive my order. Horrible customer service, and email is their only form of contact. I emailed Good American customer service on 10/5, to find out what was going on with my order, because I had not received any confirmation of shipment. I received a response on 10/7 from rep ***, stating they would look into it and provide an update shortly. The next day 10/8, I received my confirmation of shipment email. However to this day, I have not received my order and the tracking information is unavailable. I reached out to customer service on 10/12 to explain I still had not received my order, and to cancel the order and provide a refund. I explained I was leaving to go out of town and would no longer have a need for the item since it had not yet arrived, and I placed my order almost two weeks ago. Customer service responded (rep ***) by providing me the same tracking number which provided no tracking information, and then told me I could return the item once I received it. At this point I still don't have the item, and tracking is not available. I don't know if the item has even really shipped or if it was lost in transit. I responded to Alexandera on 10/13, and have yet to receive a response. Either item has not really shipped or it was lost in transit. I just want the order cancelled/refunded. I used the Klarna payment option. Order #XXXXXX
