I have reached the end of my patience with GoDaddy.
This is not a review based on one bad interaction. I have spent approximately SIX MONTHS trying to resolve ongoing problems involving services I paid for for my businesses.
During that time, I have spent an estimated 40+ HOURS writing emails, making phone calls, dealing with support, sitting on hold, repeating the same information to different representatives and trying to get issues corrected.
After all of that, I still do not have a proper resolution.
The problems have included services that did not function as they were supposed to, Microsoft 365/email-related issues, disruption to business communications, repeated support contacts, cancellations/removals, billing and refund disputes, and promises or representations from support that did not result in the problem actually being resolved.
This began months ago. I was already dealing with a refund escalation in APRIL 2026. It is now SEPTEMBER.
Today I tried AGAIN.
After approximately another hour of my time, I was still left without an acceptable resolution.
At some point, a company has to become accountable for the amount of a customer's time it consumes while repeatedly failing to fix the underlying problem. Forty-plus hours is effectively an entire work week that I have lost dealing with a service provider whose products are supposed to SUPPORT my businesses — not interfere with their operation.
The most unacceptable part is the impact on business communication. When a company sells email and other business-critical services, reliability is not optional. Problems with those services can mean missed or disrupted communications with customers, partners and other business contacts.
I have been patient. I have called. I have emailed. I have followed instructions. I have waited. I have escalated. I have given GoDaddy opportunity after opportunity to correct this.
Six months is more than enough.
I should not have to keep contacting a multinational technology company to obtain refunds or corrections for services that have not worked properly. I should not have to explain the same history repeatedly. And I certainly should not have to sacrifice 40+ hours of my own working time trying to get a company to provide what I paid for or correct what went wrong.
For anyone considering GoDaddy for BUSINESS services, particularly business email or services you depend upon for day-to-day operations, my advice based on my experience is:
DOCUMENT EVERYTHING.
Save your emails. Save your chats. Record your case numbers. Screenshot what representatives tell you. Keep your invoices and cancellation confirmations. And keep track of how much time you spend trying to obtain support.
I wish I had never allowed this situation to continue for six months.
I am done chasing GoDaddy for the same unresolved issues.
After six months, approximately 40+ hours of my time, continued service problems, disruption to my businesses and unresolved refund issues, one star is more than generous.
Recommendation: DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. Save your emails. Save your chats. Record your case numbers. Screenshot what representatives tell you. Keep your invoices and cancellation confirmations. And keep track of how much time you spend trying to obtain support. I wish I had never allowed this situation to continue for six months.
