I purchased a vacation package from GDV in 2024 while in hawaii. During the sales presentation, I was shown numerous vacation destinations and was led to believe that the membership would provide access to a wide variety of travel opportunities and significant savings. Based on those representations, I agreed to purchase the package for approximately $5,000.
Since purchasing the membership, my experience has been extremely disappointing. When I search for vacation options, there is little to no availability for the destinations and dates I am interested in. Many of the locations and opportunities that were highlighted during the presentation do not appear to be available through the membership portal.
I have attempted multiple times to use the membership but have not been able to obtain the benefits that were promised during the sales presentation. As a result, I have received little to no value from this purchase.
I also contacted the company to request cancellation and a refund due to my inability to use the membership. I was informed that I was not eligible for a refund. Meanwhile, I am still paying for this purchase on my credit card and continuing to incur significant interest charges.
Based on my experience, the product has not delivered the benefits that were represented to me at the time of sale. I am filing complaints with the appropriate consumer protection agencies and requesting a full refund of the money I paid.
I encourage prospective buyers to thoroughly research the program, carefully review all contract terms, and verify actual availability before making a purchase decision.
