My husband surprised me last Christmas with the diamond gold infinity heart necklace. He was taken back by the size (much smaller than shown) but no big deal. Now almost a year later the chain started to tarnish. I looked it up on the website and learned the chain was gold coated silver. Supposedly this necklace was originally $628 and Glencara sold it for $339. I have necklaces from Avon that are over 40 years old and they never TARNISHED. I spent $10 on one and jewelry fanatics can't believe it's not gold.

Recommendation: Shop at your local jewerly store
