I took a script in last Friday for a medication for migraines called Amovig I was told I wasn't allowed to get it until Monday they didn't have it in stock I didn't get notified by text that it was in until Tuesday. I just now went to pick it up and was told by this terribly obese pharmacist named Jason that the price was $500 ! I informed him I have never paid that my physician cleared with my insurance company for them to cover this medication and I've been getting it filled here since June
He then comes back and says TRICARE says we're not a network pharmacy
If something changed with me being allowed to have this medication I should've been notified the minute that medication came in not to be told at the window
All the other pharmacist that work at this giant eagle would have called me when they were filling the script and saw that it was flagged $500 out of network
This is not the first incident with this Jason pharmacist In August he called me at 8:30 on a Saturday night and said "why are you getting this medication in generic when you're getting a higher dose in brand"
like that's any of his business ?
This dude has rubbed too many customers the wrong way, he is not a physician but he certainly seems to like practicing medicine without a license!
