GE whole house water filter model GXWH70M power supply aka AC adapter failed after 2 years. Not a big deal except replacement power supply is not available according to GE. I even tried multiple adapters from Amazon with >30 plug tip options and it turns out the GE original is a super uncommon size so nothing else fits the socket on the appliance. So without a $20 OEM part replacement the $250 appliance is unusable.

Desired outcome: Provide a source for a compatible replacement power supply.
