I purchased a GE Microwave Oven model JVM7195RW1SS in January 17, 2026. A few days ago, (6/27/2026) the interior compartment light burned out. After trying to resolve the issue by checking with the owners manual, you tube, the store where I purchased it and calling GE, I was told that I would have to have a professional come out to fix it. Unfortunately, the cost of this will be more than I paid for the Microwave. With past microwaves, I would have been able to change the bulb myself. Had I known this would be such an expensive fix, I would have purchased a different brand.
Desired outcome: I would like to have a professional come out to replace the bulb at no charge to me.
