I recently coughed up some cash for GanttExcel and they sent me the download link right away, along with some instructions. But, man, I had a bit of a hiccup when it came to activating the thing. It was probably because of some Excel and Macro mumbo jumbo, or who knows what other nonsense. So, I shot off an email to their customer service and, believe it or not, I got a response in just a few minutes. They even had a solution for me! Now, I ain't got no problems running the program.

What more can a person ask for, right? I gotta say, I'm pretty darn satisfied with the service I got. And I'm crossing my fingers that the program itself will be just as good.

After a long and winding search, Gantt Excel is turning out to be exactly the project management tool that I had been lookin for. It's simple, easy to share and use collaboratively, and no outrageous monthly fees. I routinely use Gantt Excel to manage low-to-medium complexity projects for our primary care centre, as well as to help our management team stick to its operational plan, making use of additional excel tabs to dashboard key metrics and projections. So wonderful that the budget and resource summaries are all thoughtfully displayed for me, allowing me to focus my efforts on the business side of things. No need to reinvent the wheel when smoothing it will suffice -- and that's exactly what Gantt Excel does. It's one slick tool!

So, I gotta tell ya, this Gantt Excel thing, it's got some issues, man. Like, seriously, the save function? It might not even work for you. I had some VBA-issues, whatever that means. And let me tell ya, that's a major bummer.
