We've been stuck with them for two years and our accounts receivable is a complete disaster. Our insurance A/R has skyrocketed to over a million dollars and patient A/R isn't far behind, sitting at over half a million. They've been anything but truthful with us. Appeals for denials? They don't bother with those. And when it comes to handling recoupments and refunds, they're clueless – they don't even properly post recoupments. So there I am, sending refund checks to Medicare, and it turns out the money's already been taken back.

Their billing practices are just as bad. They're trying to bill surgical follow-up visits with a modifier 24 and are using chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes, and HTN inappropriately. I could literally talk for days about the problems with this company. Steve Wattson, in particular, has been incredibly dishonest in our dealings. And Venkat, well, he's spending so much time in India that his neglect is causing his business to fail us, the customers. We were promised that the billing would be handled stateside when we signed the contract. That was a flat-out lie. Everything's being done in India.

I'm urging you, don't make the mistake of hiring them. It's heartbreaking to see another practice end up in the mess we're in. They're completely incompetent. I've got 19 years of billing experience myself, and the errors they're making are just not acceptable. My boss is a general surgeon who's incredibly busy, and now he's got no revenue coming in. I've raised concerns about the A/R before, and one time I was handed a 52-page report full of denials and issues that had been ignored for over two years.
