FTD Companies - wrong order

Flowers are beautiful except I specifically purchased this because of the gift box, they came in celephane. I purchased the regular sized card, No card was delivered. I paid for a Balloon, No Balloon was delivered. I tried calling 30 times and can't get ahold of anyone. Also delivery was an hour late but not to bothered about that.

FTD Companies - no delivery

My husband's uncle died and we were unable to attend the funeral so wanted to send flowers. I ordered from FTDfloristsonline on a Friday and was told the flowers would be delivered in time for the funeral service on Saturday. They claimed to not have a delivery charge, but I paid $14.99 service fee. I was left a message on Saturday morning that the flowers could not be delivered that day, but could be delivered on Tuesday if I called back. So I called and left a message with their answering service to go ahead and deliver the flowers on Tuesday. On Wednesday I called to see if the flowers and left another message with the answering service. I received a return call on Thursday (no return call from my message on Saturday) and was told that they did not recieve the message on Saturday, but that they would "upgrade" my order to be delivered that day (Thursday, 5 days afer the original delivery date!). I expressed my displeasure, requested a discount on my order and instructed them to go ahead and deliver. On SATURDAY, I received another call saying that my flowers were hopefully going to be delivered that day (1 full week after the original deliver date). At this point I cancelled the order and requested a full refund. I will NEVER use this company again. FTD has always had a good reputation for flower delivery, but if they allow shoddy companies like this one to use their name, their repuataion will be forever tarnished!

FTD Companies - order not delivered - never again

Prior to Valentine's Day, I placed an order (over $100) for delivery to a Nursing Home. When I didn't receive a call from the recipient during the day, I called to check and confirmed as of 5pm nothing was delivered. I checked again at 8pm and still nothing. In between I attempted to check status online which was not available, and then by calling FTD and was told the wait time was over 30 minutes. I then filed a complaint on the website and minutes later received 3 different email confirmation saying my order had been delivered. I contacted the Nursing Home and again, nothing had been delivered. Not only did they not deliver the product, they are completely unavailable to explain what happened AND they lied by emailing false delivery confirmations. I am completely disgusted, am disputing the charges with the credit card company, and will never, ever use FTD.com again and plan to tell everyone I know that they failed miserably and will lie about.

I will NEVER EVER order flowers from FTD.com again! I order flowers not once, but twice and the order never got processed. I was assured that my order would arrive on time for Mother's Day and was let down. Then you call customer service to complain and forget about getting someone in the USA, you get India or China! SMH!

FLOWERS WILTED THE DAY AFTER DELIVERY. CUSTOMER SERVICE APOLOGIZED, BUT WOULD NOT MAKE GOOD ON THEIR GUARANTEE. THEIR 7 DAY GUARANTEE DOES NOT SPECIFIY THAT YOU MUST CALL BEFORE SEVEN DAYS AFTER DELIVERY. IT IS MISLEADING AND THEY WOULD NOT MAKE GOOD ON THE FLOWERS, BECAUSE MY COMPLAINT WAS NOT MADE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF DELIVERY.

I placed an order for same day guaranteed delivery of flowers to the east coast at 9:30 am PST. I received a call at 1:30pm PST from FTD indicating the delivery could not be made. At that time it was 4:30 on the east coast and no one could deliver the flowers. DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THEM, HAD I THOUGHT TO LOOK ONLINE AT THE COMPLAINTS - I WOULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT THE AIRLINE MILES AND GONE WITH A MORE DEPENDABLE COMPANY!

Ordered flowers for 2 moms on Mother's Day & the flowers were MIA on 2 delivery attempts. FTD commits fraud and steals money. Beware of FTD!

Flowers for Valentgines day were ordered one week in advance. FTD acknowledges order and charges credit card. On Valentines Day, at 2:11 PM in the afternoon, FTD advised that they would not deliver until February 16, but did offer a $20 coupon off for future orders. The late notice was not enough time to go elsewhere.

FTD Companies - bad customer service - no follow-up

Ordered a birthday arrangement for my Dad with a delivery of 5 days away. They delivered it the next morning! (4 days early). I emailed to tell them how disappointed I was in the wrong delivery and to ask for 1/2 refund. No response. Then I called them and was told how sorry they were and that someone would call to follow up on the problem. No one ever did. My mom sent me a picture of the arrangement and it was not at all what was pictured when I ordered - how embarrassing. It was cartoonish and delivered on the wrong day. Awful service, no follow-up. Avoid this online floral ordering service!

Good evening. I placed an order through their website on Wednesday 13 February 2013. I ordered product 13-V8, the large version at a cost of $89.98 after the service charge. Their on-line catalog shows this to be a really nice display of roses with a pretty heart-shaped vase. On 15 February, a day late, a completely different and much smaller arrangement was delivered to my wife. I have called their 800 number several (5) times and someone takes my information, ostensibly for a return call. I have not received a return call, and I have not received the refund that I asked for after my 4th call to them. I originally simply wanted the arrangement that I ordered delivered as promised but by the fourth call only wanted a refund. My order number was [protected]. I really hope that others see this so they don't get ripped off as I have.

FTD Companies - unethical terms and conditions

On website www.sendflowerstoqatar.com, the terms and conditions are written in such a way to fool any customer who avoids reading them. The Sent Flowers to Qatar company absolves itself of any obligations to deliver an item for which a purchased has been made by words like "... we may or may not contact you before substituting the product. You are also requested to note that all the product images are Studio Images and the actual product delivered may have completely different look and feel.". It is our obligation, as citizens, to bring to your attention that such websites are meant to disrupt the good development of a country with serious consequences on consumer's rights.
As example, I just purchased a basket of Sunflowers ($145). The product was changed without me being informed prior to deliver. Due to late delivery (see unreasonable terms and conditions as well on delivery time), the product was received in an advanced state of degradation. Once the product was returned and asked for reimbursement, the company made references to their terms and conditions. Even if product was returned, the company avoid reimbursement by stating that the product is perishable in nature and thus they cannot use it anymore - but it was perishable by the time it reached me.
Even if my particular case will not be solved due to my lack of attention to the terms of conditions, please review the policy of online companies with unreasonable terms and conditions which are meant to fool lots of citizens in a hurry to have a product delivered.

FTD Companies - non-delivery & poor customer service

My grandfather died at the end of March. April 14th would have been my grandparent's anniversary, so I ordered a lily plant to be sent to my grandmother in Texas on that day, because I knew that it would be a difficult time for her. I placed the order online a week in advance on April 7th. April 14th came and my grandmother told me on the phone that evening that she didn't get anything. I called FTD's customer service and got someone in the Philippines who could barely speak English. I complained about the non-delivery. She read her apology script and told me that there wasn't a florist available to make the Saturday delivery, but that they would "upgrade" my order and deliver it on Monday instead. Monday is too late and completely unacceptable! They were supposed to deliver on Saturday, so they should deliver on Saturday. That's what I paid for! At 8:16 PM on the 14th, I got an email from FTD that said the item I ordered wasn't available. WHAT?! First off, if the item wasn't going to be available for the day I wanted it to be delivered, then it should have said something on the website when I was placing the order. Second, according to FTD's substitution policy, if an item isn't available, then the local florists are supposed to substitute something of equal or greater value so that they can meet their delivery deadlines. They didn't substitute anything. My grandmother didn't get ANYTHING. Third, why is it that no one from FTD emailed or called me sooner when they realized that they didn't have what I'd ordered? 8:16 PM on the day of delivery is too late for me to make any sort of alternative arrangements to have something else delivered that day -- whether it be from FTD or a competitor! I am so frustrated and angry with FTD's complete incompetence. They claim that customer satisfaction is important to them, but in actuality, they don't give a flip. I had to set up a dispute with PayPal in order to get a refund. I will never use FTD.com again, and neither should you.

FTD Companies - not a good business to deal with

I placed an order on friday (8/12/11) to be delivered to a business on saturday (8/13/11) and paid $29.99 extra for the saturday delivery. The delivery was never made. I called the customer service number on sunday, only to be told that the "shop" (whatever that is) is closed and would not be available to contact me until monday (8/15/11).

This company boasts 24 hour service, which it does not have. It also states that ups delivery will be made. They did not even give a courtesy e-mail or phone call to me to let me know that the order had not been delivered or fulfilled. I had to speak to the intended recipient, and then face the embarrassment of explaining to them that I "thought" I had sent a plant to them! I find this company unreliable and also prone to misleading advertisement! Not a good business to deal with.

I ordered an arrangement at 8:30am to be sent for same day delivery, which did not happen. I called the 800-770-7404 which is actually an answering service that promises to have someone from the "shop" call you back. I placed several calls for 4 days and several emails as well with NO RESPONSE. I didn't even get a call to let me know the delivery was not...

FTD Companies - late delivery on day after valentines day

I ordered a valentine flower package from ftd.com, two weeks ago, feb 1st, for delivery on valentines day, feb 14th for my girlfriend. This morning on valentines day I get a email from ups saying they will be delivered by the end of the day tomorrow the 15th! Wtf? Thanks ftd for ruining valentines day! You would think with how ftd over prices all their stuff they would at least make sure things get delivered when they are suppose to be delivered! Please avoid ftd if at all possible. They are over priced and have a very good chance that the delivery will be a day or so late which is kind of important when it comes to holidays and birthdays and other very special occasions. At least special to us the consumers but I guess not to ftd! Very very upset! Ftd does not care about you after they get your money.

Thanks Iron Muffin. Great idea but can't get away from work in time today. I know it's not really ruined but it was very disappointing. BTW, what's with this ragon jerk? Go to his account and you can see all he does is try to be an [email protected]! hole to everyone. Haha thanks for making me laugh today ragon and maybe you should go get a life.

FTD Companies - horrible service!

Do not order flowers from FTD.com. I ordered flowers from FTD on the date of 2-13-10 for delivery on Valentine’s Day and they never arrived. I called the very next day and they stated that the florist did not have that model, but I never received a call from the florist or FTD.com. All I received was a weak apology, and a claim that my money would be refunded in the next 7-10 business days (which didn’t comfort me at all). They are too expensive anyway. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. This review could have been completely different if they had just contacted me as soon as possible, but instead they chose to apologize upon being prompted too. I hope this business suffers horribly because they ruined Valentine's Day in my eyes for myself and my girlfriend. I felt i had to email her the confirmation just to let her know I did not forget to send her flowers on Valentine's Day which I do every year. This lack of action by FTD.com as well as the florist they contracted with is inexcusable. On this particular day customer satisfaction should be at 100% because it is a very important day for those who are in loving relationships. No matter how many times you request, they will never remove your email address from their daily SPAM. I have tried literally dozens of times. Their customer service dept. is horrible. Do not order from FTD!

FTD Companies - worst flower company

I ordered some some balloons to be delivered to my significant other on 3/17. I placed the order on 3/15 and left special instructions for the balloons to get at his work by 1pm. Well it was 2pm and I still did not get confirmation of a delivery so I called FTD and spoke to a customer service rep upon which she told me "not to worry". Okay ma'am I said. He leaves at 3pm so I am not going to be paying for a service that is not complying to the order as requested. Long story short... delivery was at 3:34pm. The balloons over the weekend defaulted and the surprise was ruined. I will NEVER order flowers/balloons from this company again. I had a 25 gift card and thought...let me give them a try, maybe they are good. HORRIBLE Company...I am just sticking with Pro Flowers, should have never cheated on them...

FTD Companies - false advertising

I've got a beef with FTD. I ordered a featured bouquet for Mother's Day, and the photo on the website was full of beautiful yellow flowers. The bouquet my mother received had just four... the rest were dinky little daisies. Ten days and two frustrated emails to customer service later -- and I've been ignored. I went to Facebook with the same message, asking for some attention to my concern -- and my post was deleted from their wall (even after receiving feedback from other community members).

Guess what FTD -- if you're going to operate a community on Facebook, and then your idea of moderating it is to censor the content you don't like, you probably shouldn't waste your time.

With all the options we have in choosing online flower delivery, there's simply no reason ever to return to FTD.

FTD Companies - false advertising/no accountability

I will never use FTD again. Simply put, if they do not hold their florists accountable, then they clearly do not need my business/money. I ordered a Mother's Day bouquet ("Dreamland Pink Bouquet" consisting of pink roses and peruvian lillies) this year, and had the option of 3 different price point arrangements: 14 stems with vase at $39.99, 20 stems with vase at $49.99, and 26 stems with vase at $59.99. After shipping and handling charges, the total for the order came to $90.98. I decided to go big and get the nicest, most expensive arrangment for my Mom. The photo depictions of the arrangements on their website show how each bouquet SHOULD look. Needless to say, when the flowers were delivered to my Mom's house, I was extremely disappointed and angry. The photos attached show what the arrangement was supposed to look like, and of course, the weak flowers that were actually delivered. After contacting FTD, they asked if the stem count was correct (which it was), and then explained that they could not verify nor hold the florist they used to locally arrange and deliver the flowers accountable. For $90.98, I would hope that I was getting what paid for... I guess not. And that is that, I will never again use FTD, and will encourage others to send their business to 1800flowers.com (who have always been spot on with my past orders) or other businesses that actually give a hoot about their customers.

Today I have two returns in play not deliveries like I ordered. Both are for a small town in Louisiana. One from FTD who were courteous, sales oriented, and motivated. The other from 1800Flowers who were bad reception, they called with the most confusing responses that seemed like they were testing me for my reaction, and they tried the same return as credit scheme the other company did. Is that business or even competition. Nah, that is just two criminal business organizations fighting over some scraps of a no longer defended american economic system.

I was expected flowers for a loved one today, but now all I can wonder is where do they now dispense the good hard justice or does that still happen?

Yes this totally true! I just ordered and first they called to say the vendor called to say they stopped delivery early today. They would refund half the delivery charge and deliver tomorrow. They called me again to say the vendor called to say no delivery on Saturday. I asked for my money back. They said not once, nah, not twice, nah, not thrice, this is getting stupid they did it like seven or eight times, insisting I should take a store credit more than the value I was charged for the product I ordered. They explained how I can use this credit for a later purchase some where else. I said no and they said it would be five days until the charge will actually reverse, so I guess extortion still is a thing in a way. I got curious so I called all the stores in the town I was ordering for and they were still open. None of them deliver or work with flowers.com. How could they offer me business they had no access to. It seems to me that FTD companies are just successful brand based drop shippers and not part of a legit sales chain. They are middlemen and very bad ones at that.

FTD Companies - never delivered — customer service sucks

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day the Monday before and wanted them delivered Friday. FTD never shipped them and never told me. I called on Saturday to find out what happened and they said they could deliver them on Tuesday AFTER Mother's Day. The conversation was difficult because the rep barely spoke or understood English. She refused to give me a discount on the overnight shipping that I paid for and kept repeating the same thing over and over. I have been so frustrated or angry dealing with Customer Service. I can't believe that this could be considered acceptable. I ended up canceling my order and ordered from a competitor.

FTD Companies - wrong product delivered, no resolution

We ordered "the best" flower arrangement for a new granddaughter. When we visited her a week later, we were quite embarrassed to see the little bouquet that had been delivered — it was barely 7"x 7", but should have been 11"x 11" according to the website. We requested re-delivery of the correct product, but our email was ignored. On the second contact, they offered $12 credit (instead of $20 plus tax, the difference in cost of the arrangement we ordered). We've submitted a claim dispute through our credit card company for the difference in cost, but that doesn't make up for the lousy product and customer service we experienced. We're done with FTD! Now I wonder if other deliveries were what we ordered. I didn't know I had to ask recipients for a description of the gift we sent!

Poor quality, shabby customer service, Ordered a spray of flowers for my deceased boyfriend. The flowers that arrived were horrible and not representative of the picture shown. You will wait over thirty minutes on the telephone for a customer service rep. I will never order flowers from FTD again and hope that eveyone heed this warning and go to another florist. I was told I would get a refund but thier customer service would not send me a confirmation via email. Do not order flowers from FTD. I fully intend to take this matter to small claims court and wish that this could be done collectively so that this does not happen to anyone else. Hopefully this posting will be helpful in protecting other consumers. Do not buy flowers from FTD or you will be disappointed.

FTD Companies - avoid them

On Feb.2 I placed an order, FR0574217, with FTD for 36 roses to be delivered on Feb.11 and received an e-mail conformation. When, they did not arrive by 7:oo on 2/11 I sent an e-mail to FTD customer service.I later sent 6 other e-mails and as of 2/14 none have been replied to .

On 2/12 I talked to a customer service agent and also her manager for over 30 minutes and the answeres are incredible.

According to FTD, they transmit an order to a florist but thier system does not know if the florist recieves it. There is no acknowldgement of the order. They also have no idea if it evers ships. They have to call the florist for any information.

The "T" either stands for telephone or telegraph.

The order finally arrived 10:00 on Monday after my wife went to work.

Still no apology or any contact from thier Customer Service.

Avoid FTD !

FTD Companies - no delivery on valentine's day

FTD florist at 1-800-send-FTD failed to deliver a Valentines Day gift that was ordered on 2/13/2011. No calls telling that it wasn't going to happen.( so maybe I could go to Plan B) No nothing ...Yea Honey a really did order it on time. ( like women will really fall for that one, with us Guy's.) Called customer service on Hold for over an hour 3 times trying to get a refund. They said they were sorry but that was it. This company's motto should be if want service... BEG...If you want Delivery for get IT.. if you want your Wife to happy do not buy FTD... C1004090902

Don't blame FTD...well, don't blame them that much. You are right that it's better to use your local florist-and a bit cheaper as well. But for florists, Valentine's day is Hell day. Possibly your florist underestimated how many online orders they could deal with, and coping with that plus phone orders plus walk-ins plus temp drivers plus total exhaustion...well, stuff happens. As to calling out to a sender to ask for a sub...well, when all four lines of your florist are already lit up with INCOMING calls...well, probably will not happen.

I work for a florist. My recommendation is to order a couple of WEEKS early from your local florist. And if at all possible, pick a day other than the actual V-day itself. Finally, if you want to risk delivery that day anyhow, make a game of it. Many local florists will make it up to you in very big ways if they miss a delivery.

And anyone who thinks they are going to be able to order and get a delivery THAT day is frankly delusional.

(I am still shellshocked from working this past V-day. It was HELL.)

I will never use FTD.com. I ordered an upgraded flower package, which included roses and lillies, as well as two Valentine's balloons and a card. This was our first Valentine's day together as a married couple and I wanted to get my wife a really nice flower arrangement. I ordered my flowers on Feb. 9th 2011 and to have them delivered to my wife's work on Monday Feb. 14th, 2011...Valentine's Day. In the past my wife would normally call me (when I sent her flowers) around 12-2 PM to tell me how happy she was to receive her flowers. Around 3 PM I have not heard from her, so unfortunately I had to ruin the surprise and call her and ask if she received anything. Much to my surprise, I she had not received anything. I called FTD.com and had to wait on the phone for an hour and a half, when I finally got through, they informed me that their computers were down and could not look up my order.

The next morning, I called to complain to FTD.com and they were very nice and even offered to take 40% off my bill. As nice as that may be, our Valentine's Day was ruined and it looks really dumb to receive flowers the day after the holiday has passed. To the rest of her office, it looks like her dumb husband forgot to send flowers on Valentine's Day and now I'm going to make it up the next day. Thanks FTD.com. The lady on the phone told me that my wife will get her flowers today (Feb. 15th). At 3 PM, my wife still has not received her flowers, so I called FTD.com once again and the lady on the phone told me that the driver was on his way and had the flowers in his truck. A few more hours passed and still no flowers and unfortunately my wife's office had closed. That night I was furious, so I called FTD.com once again and demanded my full refund. I could not believe what they offered me: they said that they will make sure the flowers are sent the next day and I will get 10% off my bill. At this time I was really confused, because earlier that day, they were going to give me 40% off my bill and now that the day has passed, I'm going get only 10% off. I told the lady to forget the damn flowers and to give me a full refund in return. At first the lady was not going to do a full refund, so I asked to speak with a manager and finally the manager said that I should receive the refund in 5-8 business days.

Now this is where the story get's really good. The next day (Feb. 16th) I get a phone call from FTD.com and the man said that the florist does not have the vase for the arrangement that I ordered and they will have to give me a different vase, however they will be willing to give me a $10.00 upgrade. Now wait a minute! First off, how the hell could the driver have my wife's flowers in the truck on Feb. 15 and was on his way to my wife's work, when in fact the next day I'm informed that the florist did not have the vase for my wife's arrangement...basically I was lied to! First of all, why is it 2 days after Valentine's Day that I'm given this information? Secondly, if the florist didn't have the vase, why was I not notified days before Valentine's Day. Of course I would have said "...no problem, just go with a different vase." But what really pisses me off, I was lied to by FTD.com. Don't tell me that my wife's flowers are on the way, when in fact they were never even arranged. Think about it, if the florist didn't have the vase I ordered, that means that the arrangement was even started until 2 days after Valentine's Day. It's not like I ordered these flowers the day before Valentine's Day...it was 5 days before. I will never use FTD.com ever again and I urge all of you to just go to the local florist yourself and have them delivered. Take out the middle man and go straight to the source...after all, FTD.com uses all of your local florists anyway. The best part; while I'm on hold (on the phone) I keep hearing an advertisement about same day deliverey...wow.

FTD Companies - terrible product

Purchased flowers for my Mom thru ProFlowers.com and when she received them and they were absolutely disgustingly pathetic! I have pictures that would make your stomach turn. I paid close to $50 for some thing that looked like a bunch of weeds! The advertisement for a gorgeous, full boquet, not a bunch of wilted dead weeds! Not what you want to hear when you tried to make your mothers Valentines day special, especially when she watches my children for me while i work. She deserved a gorgeous bouquet, instead she got a bunch of weeds! Im a single mom and i dont have that kind of money to throw around. And I have filed a complaint with them and I do hope that they rectify the situation! I am quite disappointed. This also happened to a friend of mine who sent my roses in Vegas and when I got them they were wilted and some of the buds were snapped off. I didnt remember the name of that company until now and now I know better! I will never order from them again and I wont let any of my friends order from them either! I attached pix too! One on the left is what was advertised! And the one on the right was what I got! NO WHERE NEAR WHAT I ORDERED! Thanks Tammy

Those aren't weeds, they are buds. At least they look like buds, it's kinda hard to tell from the pic. The flowers haven't opened yet. Put them in water per the instructions and they should open up in a day or so. I've used ProFlowers for years and have never had a bad bouquet.
