Bought a new Frigidaire Galaxy refrigerator in January 0 2025. Since that purchase we have had warrantee service 7 times to fix the ice maker and water supply in door unit.
They have replaced almost every part of the ice making unit to include 2 water valves, 2 main curcuit boards, water supply heater. Now they are going to furnish another water valve housing because the water to the ice maker and water dispenser is not working properly.
This unit is junk.
Also, I don't want to forget that after the 5th visit I was told by Frigidaire that the unit was out of warrantee because is was after the 1st year manufacturers warrantee. I told the person that I spoke to that I had an extended warrantee on this unit for 3 more years and he told me I would have to contact Home Depot about this issue. Home Depot had nothing to do with this I simply bought the unit there.
I then called Electrolux and they took care of my request. Obviously, Frigidaire employees don't have a clue about what an extended warrantee is.
And while we are on the subject of Frigidaire appliances, we also bought a Range / Over at the same time (Frigidaire) which we have had to have warrantee service done on.
Recommendation: Don't purchase Frigidaire Appliances.
