Frig/Freezer is 1 1/2 years old, GRMS2773AF serial 1K40570613 and ice maker is no longer functional. Apparently sealed system assembly, would require service of the sealed system and evaporator replacement - cost $1000 plus. Why is this a sealed system to keep lines from freezing? Poor design and costly repair is not worth it. Beware - buy an extended warranty on these poorly designed machines or better yet, don't buy it at all.

Claimed loss: Ice Maker broken & not able 2 fix. Cost prohibitive - almost 3/4 price of new machine. Awful construction & no machine w/ice maker should be bought without extended warranty.

Desired outcome: Frigidaire should fix or replace.
