Frigidaire freezer

I have an extended service contract with Frigidaire, when you call the number [protected] you are put on hold I have done this over several days and stayed on hold 35 minutes one time. this contract is no good if you cannot contact them.

Frigidaire Frigidaire fridge broke, warranty help

I have been trying to go through the warranty department due to the fridge failing after 5 months of use. I the customer service department is anything but helpful. Ebony simple doesn't know anything. They have been sitting with the techs report for a week and nothing has happened. I asked to talk to a supervisor Larry and Quincy, but there were uninterested in helping with the situation. They clearly messed up by letting a report just sit there for another week. Now its going to be 2-3 more weeks to get a fridge replaced. A month and a half to get a fridge replaced? Do you not inform people that if they decide to by your product that it could take months to replace your faulty equipment? Shameful. To big to fail attitude from Fridgidaire sucks. I have not direct time frame on when the fridge will be fixed or replaced.

Desired outcome: Get the fridge fixed or replaced in a timely manor!!!!!

Frigidaire freezer mod:FFFU20F2VW0

I'm beyond frustrated.. We purchased this freezer in Jan 2020 at Home Depot and within a few months it stopped cooling. I called frigidaire and they had a tech come out and he informed us that this particular model freezer has had numerous problems with cooling and that the part needed to repair it was on back order. So we had to wait and after a couple of weeks he came to fix it.

A month later the exact same thing happened again and the repair man came out and said this problem is recurring and that he recommended a buy back. We called and spoke to a representative and they suggested the same thing. My wife called and after a heated back and forth she was told that the freezer wouldn't be bought back and they'd send someone out. Well no one has come back and it's been a month since then. And I'm currently on hold with frigidaire as I'm typing. I've literally been on hold for 3 hours and 19 minutes. What makes it so bad is I guess they flagged our account after my wife called because someone picked up after an 1hr and said nothing for awhile then promptly put us back on hold.

This is beyond frustrating and I find it hard for anyone not to be upset in regards to such treatment. We are hoping for a buyback... Someone help.

***Literally they just hung up**** over 3 hours and then business hours ended apparently.

I'm having the same exact problem. They offered to replace mine but it's been 3 months and I haven't received it. They say there's nothing they can do. They sent it out I need to contact the delivery company. They won't give me the delivery company info so I can't contact them. This is so beyond frustrating.

Same exact scenario happened to us. Same model too! Their protocols for buy backs are ludicrous. They want three-5 visits from their technicians before they can even consider replacing. My carpet was damaged and meat products were spoiled as well. I purchased over 10 bags of ice a day just to keep the temperature. I’ve spent over the amount of what the freezer is worth. My time is valuable too.They should be cutting me a check at an hourly rate that I’ve been put on hold!
They shouldn’t be selling this piece of [censored] model. This is bad business practice and the BBB should be on them. Maybe it will wake them up a bit. Perhaps more people need to come out and speak up on their terrible customer services. I have a list of names of representatives claiming they are the last tier and highest management rep I can go to. A bunch of B.S.!

Frigidaire Side-by-side refrigerator

My name is Crystal N. Core and I' am writing this letter to formerly file a complaint against the company Frigidaire.

On November 13th, 2020 I purchased a Frigidaire Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Ice Maker from Lowe's in Mentor, Ohio. On the morning of June 2nd 2020 the refrigerator started making a loud buzzing noise on and off. I contacted Lowe's to discuss this issue, and I was told it was the refrigerator making ice. I explained to the representative that it was not that because I knew what that noise was. He tried to troubleshoot the issue over the phone but was unsuccessful so he put in a request to send out a technician. Later that evening of June 2nd it got worse. Not only did the noise get louder, it started to constantly beep like an alarm was going off, the refrigerator side and also the freezer side would not holds its temperature and the refrigerator kept cutting off. The dispenser started to leak water non-stop. I had to turn the water valve off in my kitchen in order to stop the water flow, so of course I can't use my kitchen sink. I explained that I was having my kitchen floor done soon and did NOT want all the water to mess up the foundation of my floor. The next day, June 3rd 2020 the technician came out to fix the issue (all my food spoiled!).
The technician stated that he could not fix the refrigerator that day because he had to order parts to do so (Technician from EZ Appliance). He stated that I needed a Compressor, Starter, Run Capacitor and a new Dispenser Module, and that it would take a week for the parts to come in. I contacted Frigidaire after many unsuccessful attempts, to ask for a new refrigerator because I only had that one 6 months and already needed major parts! They refused to offer me a new refrigerator because I' am still under warranty and stated that the technician had to come and fix it. After over two weeks of not hearing anything about the parts I called EZ Appliance. I was told that they had 3 parts in but not the compressor that the compressor was on back order and didn't know when it would be in. I had to contact Lowe's who thankfully agreed to send me a loner refrigerator for now.
I then contacted Frigidaire Corporate office on June 22nd, 2020 and demanded to speak with a manager. I began to speak with Brittany Johnson Electrolux Corporate Manger about what was going on. She began to order the parts herself and expedited the order for the parts to come directly to my home. She even told me that I would get $50 towards my lost food (which is not NEARLY enough money for all the food I had in my refrigerator and freezer at the time!) in the form of a card which has never come! She also switched the technician company to ProTech Repair. I was originally scheduled for repair with ProTech for Friday July 2nd 2021. I had to reschedule the repair because I was getting my kitchen floor done that day, as I told them I was having it done soon. The reschedule date was for today July 7th, 2021 with a time from 11 - 3pm. I received a call from Dan from ProTech at 11:32am stating that the technician could not make it out. Due to me being a nurse and working 5 days a week, I had to reschedule for July 19th, 2021 which is about another 2 weeks out, they could not get me in sooner in an convenient time frame for me.
As a result I really just want my money back for the refrigerator so that I can purchase a new one from a better company. A company with better products, better policies and better customer service. I only had this product for 6 months and it broke down with major issues. For the past 2 months I've had a refrigerator sitting there that I can't use, and for the past 1 month I've had space taking up in my home for the loner refrigerator that is very small and I can barely put any food in. I have to make frequent store runs to feed my 4 children, because I can't buy in bulk with no room.
PLEASE help get my money back ($1, 165.32). I DO NOT want a new refrigerator from Frigidaire as their products are not good at all, and a new refrigerator from them would put me back in this same situation 6 months from now or sooner!

Here I' am today 07/21/21, another day that EZ Appliance was suppose to come fix my refrigerator at 8:30am. It is now 3:14pm and no tech yet. Their not evens answering my phone calls nor calling me back after multiple voicemails! Currently seeking an attorney to sue!

Frigidaire microwave

product purchased 2019 (DEC) out of warranty 6 months

faulty switches repaired no 1 week later switches fail and the tech says it the relay switch on computer board. tech said rarely ever sees this... faulty part

no way to call chat or contact frigidaire neverending apologies of high call volume all hours-DISCONNECT at end of long waiting and menus

live chat not active any longer

worst feeling ever as a helpless consumer except to complain and maybe prevent someone else from making the same mistake

Frigidaire Washer/Dryer and Professional Refrigerator (

Just after their 1 year warranty ended:
- our DRYER door sensor stopped working
- then the main board went out and our DRYER stopped working all together
- then the Professional Series REFRIGERATOR temp sensor went out
- then the Professional Series REFRIGERATOR evaporator/cooling system went out

Guess what? Unlike other companies, they only have a ONE YEAR warranty on the closed cooling system in the professional series refrigerators. One year warranty for everything.

These are by far the biggest piles of junk we have ever purchased. Not to mention all of the little things that have fallen off our washer and dryer over the past 1.5 years. Called to confirm, answer was yes, you're not under warranty have a nice day.

And we have had not one, but two professionals confirm the issues with the refrigerator.

Desired outcome: Fridge replacement but we were told to forget it and have a good day.

Frigidaire Micro Wave, Model FFMV1846VWA

Bought a Microwave on -line. It worked for three months. They gave me a number for a local repair company, They came out and found out the microwave was not repairable and needed to be replaced. Two maybe three weeks later Frigidaire sent out a new microwave to a third party who would be in contact to set up the new installation. It has been lost at the third parties dock. Was signed for by an employee. I have called 3 to 4 times a week between Frigidaire and NAL(3 party group) they all say each time we are looking into it and will get back to you in 24 hours, If you don't hear back call us back. Each time it takes over 45 minutes to get to someone just to get the same answer, We have emailed the group that takes care of it. Sorry that's all we can do.
I am not sure how it is my fault that a company Frigidaire has contracted to use has lost the microwave. But when you call Frigidaire I have gotten "well it arrived at NAL so not a lot we can do about it."
In my opinion, Frigidaire should send out a new microwave and use another company to install so it doesn't get lost. The Customer service I have received from Frigidaire and NAL is horrible. They both have shown that they don't care.

Frigidaire Broken fridge

Good afternoon,
I purchased a Frigidaire 3.2 Cu. Ft. Freestanding Bar Fridge (EFR372) - Blue last year and it has now completely stopped working.
I submitted an inquiry on their website and completed all the information requested on May 24, 2021. Once submitted I received an automated email back from them advising someone will be in contact within the next 3 business days.
I had not received a response so on the 27th June and then again on 2nd July. I still have not received a response. I tried calling them but was on hold for over half an hour with no response.
My fridge has now been broken for nearly three months and still nothing back from Frigidaire.

oven is not working still, under extended warranty thru frigidaire, have had made calls after calls to no avail can i receive any person or help, cannot keep buying food for my family because your company has failed to help resolve this matter, will be taking this to the better business bureau and will never ever buy this brand again, wish i had not

Frigidaire Refrigerator

Varied and continuous noises that are extremely loud. Warranty tech showed up a few months ago and said it was fixed, but it all came back again. Tried calling Frigidaire's C/S number, but the recording said they had so many complaints they couldn't take my call!

Frigidaire Fridge

I purchased a Frigidaire fridge in May 2021. My fridge broke due to an evaporator leak 1 month after purchase. so I contacted the company in June 2021 and they informed me that the warranty actually ends in August 2021 (which was not conveyed to me when purchased). They sent a technician to assess the situation. It was concluded that they do not have the parts to fix the problem so a new fridge will have to be delivered. The technician informed me that it will take 7-10 business days for the company to review my case and have a new one sent out. I contacted Frigidaire within 7-10 days for an update and they kept saying that it was being reviewed. Fast forward its been almost 2 months without a fridge and they said that because of peak season, it is taking longer than usual. I really wanted to believe that but each time I speak with a representative, they give me the run-around and then re-quote me another 10 business days. This is even after the fact that my case had already been reviewed and approved for a replacement. So now I am left waiting for them to send a replacement but with an infinite amount of review time left pending? How many more months am I to wait before a replacement can be provided? I understand that it is summer and it is peak season, but this is ridiculous. I also informed them that if replacement was an issue, I would like a full refund. The representatives informed me that they do not handle refunds and cannot process one for me. This is the first time purchasing this brand but the chances are slim to none for a second purchase in the future. They really need to have a better process in place to accommodate the timelines that they are promising customers.

Frigidaire Refrigerator

I purchased a new refrigerator installed in late May. After my lights were installed in my kitchen you could see how scratched up the appliance is. My contractor said this is not right for a brand new appliance . What options do I have. Tried to contact the business where I purchased the refrigerator . They appear to skirt the issue. Frigidaire Not receiving air frying basket

I purchased a stove at Lowes . The feature that I wanted had the air fryer. The advertisement on tv shows cooking with the air fryer the food shown was contained in a basket so that small items like chicken wings fries and onion rings could be contained . I understand that larger items could be cooked on the grill racks. When I got my stove delivered there was no basket! I went to Lowes and was told that Frigidaire does not provide the baskets. The tv advertisement is misleading! After paying over $2, 000.00 for a stove I would think that a basket could and should be provided being that that is an emphasis on air frying in your tv advertisement. I reach out to you before going on social media to warn others that Frigidaire is negligent! does not provide one essential item needed to do chicken wings, fries and onion rings! Frigidaire Dishwasher

We purchased a brand new dishwasher in November w020 from our local Lowes store. On May 4, 2021 the dishwasher quit working. We contacted the store we purchased it from who then transfered us to the Frigidaire representatives to schedule a service appt. That appt was May 20, 2021. The repairman came, supposedly ordered a part to repair it and had scheduled to return on June 16, 2021. The part NEVER arrived so when the repairman called, he had to "reorder" the part. Pushed the repair back to June 20, 2021. A different repairman came, proceeded to install the part and it still won't work. He said he isn't sure what is wrong with it zo he ordered all new electrical components and then scheduled a service appt for July 26, 2021. At that point, we will be without our dishwasher for almost 3. months. we are already a 8 months into our manufactures warranty. I called Frigidaire and was told that as long as they keep saying it can be fixed, even tbough they don't know what rhe HELL is wrong with it nor what is even needed to fix it, they won't replace it. I WILL NEVER purchase another Frigidaire product. Their lack of customer service SUCKS.

Frigidaire Refrigerator

Side by side fridge under warranty has been broken for a week. The service provider came and deemed it unrepairable and the company has not issued a replacement or has another service repair company to fix it. They lie and they don't offer any resolutions within a reasonable amount of time. How can someone go without food for that long?.. They don't have anyone to send to fix it and they will not accept the repair companies diagnosis of being dead!

Frigidaire Side by side refrigerator

I purchased a side by side refrigerator in 2016, during the initial warranty period my control panel failed and was replaced by a certified warranty service. Several months later the replacement failed and Frigidaire replaced the panel a second time at no cost. The second replacement has now failed and I'm being offered a 50 percent discount on the part and would be responsible for the labor charge. This incident which goes back to 2017 is still the same incident and either the technician misdiagnosed the failure and the refrigerator itself is defective or I have been given defective control panels. In no way, do I feel I should incur any expense as no unit should require a fourth control panel within a five year window. The principle does matter and my recent request for resolution was met with a disgraceful offer.

Desired outcome: Fix or replace the problem at no charge. I own a lemon

Frigidaire Wall oven

We purchased the Frigidaire 27" Built-in Double Electric Wall Oven through Best Buy on 01/16/21 brand new and it was delivered 05/2021. The bottom portion of the oven is requiring the motherboard to be replaced on this new item. We are being told that we cannot receive a new oven due to a process where repairs have to be attempted first; however that makes no sense due to this being a brand new oven. We want the oven to be replaced and the cost of the install to be credited back (due to it being a wall oven).

Two technicians were sent out to evaluate the oven with most recent coming out on 06/24.

Lower oven is reaching extremely high temperatures and burning all items placed in it.

Desired outcome: Replacement oven.

Frigidaire Microwave

Purchased 6/19/12 oven and microwave with exhaust.
Have used baked potato sensor cook since installed. Today 6/26/21 it caught on fire!
The potato was on fire, inside the unit was torched. House full of smoke!
Looked up information and there have been several complaints since 2014 with no response or action taken to address this!
So dissatisfied and disappointed… Our budget does not afford us to be able to replace this!

Frigidaire Does not honor their warranty

I purchased a Frigidaire dehumidifier through Amazon. When I broke, while under warranty, I contacted Frigidaire, just to be told that I bought it from an "unauthorized 3rd. party". The fact that I bought it new from a recognized website meant nothin. I won't even get into the details of having to submit my claim twice, and having to chase after them to find out they were rejecting my claim a second time. Horrible experience.

Frigidaire Broken AC/lack of timely service

Last June we purchased a Frigidaire AC unit. When we installed it this June, it was broken.
To get a new one, Frigidaire had us cut the cord and send our receipt in, along with a photo of the broken AC with the cord cut. In an email they said it would be "ten days." They told us to keep the old unit until they sent the new one, so now we're left with an AC on the side of our tiny house that people can trip over. And now, well over two weeks later, we have not received a new unit. When we have called it is almost impossible to get a person on the phone. Every time we try to call, the automated system tells us they're experiencing "high call volume" and hangs up on us. My husband finally got through today, and a rude woman told him that our situation was ""processing" and that since this was a "peak time, " she had "no idea" when we will receive the new AC and refused to do any further checking. It has been well over two weeks. We have heard nothing, can't easily contact anyone. The person we reached was rude and unhelpful. We have a broken AC on the side of our home. This AC is under warranty and we paid for it. Terrible service and I'll never buy another Frigidaire product.
