Frigidaire Refrigerator

Side by side fridge under warranty has been broken for a week. The service provider came and deemed it unrepairable and the company has not issued a replacement or has another service repair company to fix it. They lie and they don't offer any resolutions within a reasonable amount of time. How can someone go without food for that long?.. They don't have anyone to send to fix it and they will not accept the repair companies diagnosis of being dead!

Frigidaire Side by side refrigerator

I purchased a side by side refrigerator in 2016, during the initial warranty period my control panel failed and was replaced by a certified warranty service. Several months later the replacement failed and Frigidaire replaced the panel a second time at no cost. The second replacement has now failed and I'm being offered a 50 percent discount on the part and would be responsible for the labor charge. This incident which goes back to 2017 is still the same incident and either the technician misdiagnosed the failure and the refrigerator itself is defective or I have been given defective control panels. In no way, do I feel I should incur any expense as no unit should require a fourth control panel within a five year window. The principle does matter and my recent request for resolution was met with a disgraceful offer.

Desired outcome: Fix or replace the problem at no charge. I own a lemon

Frigidaire Wall oven

We purchased the Frigidaire 27" Built-in Double Electric Wall Oven through Best Buy on 01/16/21 brand new and it was delivered 05/2021. The bottom portion of the oven is requiring the motherboard to be replaced on this new item. We are being told that we cannot receive a new oven due to a process where repairs have to be attempted first; however that makes no sense due to this being a brand new oven. We want the oven to be replaced and the cost of the install to be credited back (due to it being a wall oven).

Two technicians were sent out to evaluate the oven with most recent coming out on 06/24.

Lower oven is reaching extremely high temperatures and burning all items placed in it.

Frigidaire Microwave

Purchased 6/19/12 oven and microwave with exhaust.
Have used baked potato sensor cook since installed. Today 6/26/21 it caught on fire!
The potato was on fire, inside the unit was torched. House full of smoke!
Looked up information and there have been several complaints since 2014 with no response or action taken to address this!
So dissatisfied and disappointed… Our budget does not afford us to be able to replace this!

Frigidaire Does not honor their warranty

I purchased a Frigidaire dehumidifier through Amazon. When I broke, while under warranty, I contacted Frigidaire, just to be told that I bought it from an "unauthorized 3rd. party". The fact that I bought it new from a recognized website meant nothin. I won't even get into the details of having to submit my claim twice, and having to chase after them to find out they were rejecting my claim a second time. Horrible experience.

Frigidaire Broken AC/lack of timely service

Last June we purchased a Frigidaire AC unit. When we installed it this June, it was broken.
To get a new one, Frigidaire had us cut the cord and send our receipt in, along with a photo of the broken AC with the cord cut. In an email they said it would be "ten days." They told us to keep the old unit until they sent the new one, so now we're left with an AC on the side of our tiny house that people can trip over. And now, well over two weeks later, we have not received a new unit. When we have called it is almost impossible to get a person on the phone. Every time we try to call, the automated system tells us they're experiencing "high call volume" and hangs up on us. My husband finally got through today, and a rude woman told him that our situation was ""processing" and that since this was a "peak time, " she had "no idea" when we will receive the new AC and refused to do any further checking. It has been well over two weeks. We have heard nothing, can't easily contact anyone. The person we reached was rude and unhelpful. We have a broken AC on the side of our home. This AC is under warranty and we paid for it. Terrible service and I'll never buy another Frigidaire product.

Frigidaire Refrigerator

I purchased a brand-new refrigerator on May 20th it was delivered May 26th the refrigerator did not even work for a week we are now a month in and I have not had a refrigerator for almost 30 days and it still has not been fixed beyond frustrated with four children and no refrigerator after I spent almost $1,000 on something I can't even use. Still waiting for it to be fixed I lost all my food and nobody cared, Frigidaire can't do nothing for me.

Bought a brand-new Frigidaire refrigerator from Home Depot, purchased on May 7, 2021 and delivered on May 20, 2021. The refrigerator is not working. Contacted Frigidaire Customer service, who weeks later (9-June-2021) sent a technician to the house. The technician clearly indicated in the receipt (357735) that he cannot fix the refrigerator because it's a sealed system. Contacted Frigidaire Customer service again on 21-June-2021, at which time, they related that the only thing they can do is schedule another appointment for a technician but can't give a date. In the meantime, we don't have a refrigerator to keep our food from spoiling. I urgently need a new refrigerator or my money reimbursed so I can buy a refrigerator.

Frigidaire Refrigerator

Have been trying to get ice maker fixed since January 2021. Went out of warranty February 2021. A&E who provides warranty work has cancelled on us twice, came out and claimed Frigidaire coded the ticket wrong. Was coded as a collection call and wanted to charge us for the parts/labor. He did adjust the doors and now they won't shut unless we force them to close and seal to keep everything cold. Finally got Frigidaire on phone to correct the ticket but A&E would not do the work on same visit. Had to reschedule AGAIN. Appointment was supposed to be June 16 and they have cancelled that appointment and rescheduled for June 29th. OMG I just want an ICE MAKER to work properly and not make loud grinding noises. I will NEVER recommend Frigidaire due to the hassle we have had so far just getting ice maker fixed and now the doors adjusted after they "fixed" them before.

Desired outcome: Would like an ice maker that works!!!

Frigidaire FFTR1814T 18 .0 cu feet white refridgerator

We bought this Frigidaire refridgerator on march 28, 2021, on June 1st 2021 a service tech under warranty came they said the fridge was defective from the factory that the seal that keeps the fridge cold was put on wrong causing me to lose 200 dollars worth of food and the temp to remain at room temp so all food i put in it will spoil within days, it is now june 8th and i am using a mini cooler to keep the babys milk cold. Frigidaire messaged me and said in good faith they would extend my warranty for another three months . However i can not get them to replace or fix it withthe warranty i have also the food i lost . i am very upset . and can use some help .thankyou

Frigidaire Refrigerator

I purchased a LFSS2612TF4 which was made in Mexico at Loews the end of February 2012.
So far 3 of the drawers and sides are cracked just after being in the refrigerator with nothing heavy on the shelf. They crack in their own! The store recognized there is a problem with these drawers and I have contacted Electrolux more that 8 times. I waited two months for the first drawer and it came broken so did the next crisper drawer then they sent two wrong drawers and now two of the side shelves have cracked. I can't even think about calling and waiting over 30 min or more to get a customer service rep who is rude and not helpful and won't do anything about this.

Desired outcome: I want a manger to contact me to make this right or a refund or upgrade from them

Frigidaire Refrigerator

I purchased a new refrigerator in 2010, newly built house, the technician was sent out numerous times concerning the ice maker not making ice. eventually the fridge was replaced seven years ago. The same problem existed in the new refrigerator. I contacted the manufacturers in Augusta, Ga, concerning this issue with the back of the fridge rusting, and pictures were sent. I was told we can give you a 10% discount on another frigidaire product and it was only 7 years old. I never really wanted this product, but purchasing the Professional I thought it was better. this company doesn't stand behind their products. I will NEVER purchase another Frigidaire product. Now my double ovens Professional wall ovens has malfunction. Never again.

Frigidaire Gas cook top

Installed a new frigidaire gas cook top (36" 5 burners) about 1 month ago.
As of today, 4 out of 5 knobs are broken.

You can just break off pieces of the plastic stem in your hand.

This has to be a defect.

Frigidaire Frigidaire electric stove Model LFEF3017LWB

Wile the oven was heating up getting ready for the desired tempature there was a loud pop noise and the control panel burst into flames. Thank god we got the fire out quickly. The stove is 10 years old but was well taken care of. Sadly this product should have never caught on fire. This hapened on May 23.

Frigidaire Refrigerator Model FFHT1835VSO

I have had a horrible experience with a brand new fridge I purchased. I own multiple Frigidaire products, I am a loyal customer, and I have never had an issue till now. I have spent over 20 hours on hold and still do not have a resolution. My elderly parents have been with out a fridge of over 4 months. Here is a timeline of the issue.

December 2020 (upon closing of our condo) buy a Frigidaire refrigerator Model FFHT1835VSO. Register Refrigerator with Frigidaire.

February 3, 2021 - Called to let Frigidaire know that the brand new fridge I bought in December was broken and making sounds. Does not stay cold lost all food.

February 9, 2021 - First appointment scheduled to fix refrigerator. Had to be rescheduled because I put down the wrong zip code and they have to reschedule the appointment automatically.

February 16, 2021 - Service appointment finally occurs. Told we needed a new fan, would take 2 weeks to get parts and then 2 weeks to install.

March 5, 2021 - Appointment scheduled for fixing the fan. Fan replaced, fridge dies 12 hours later again, lost all food.

March 9, 2021 - Service tech comes out again says it is the compressor and needs to order parts again.

March 24, 2021 - Service tech cancels service because it snows. Fridge is still not working, miss work waiting for the tech all day.

April 12, 2021 - Compressor replaced, tech tells me that the compressor is bad and that I should be approved for a new fridge. Tech says to call 2 days later to schedule new fridge delivery.

April 14, 2021 - Call, on hold for an hour, to tell me the tech didn't write the notes correctly and that I need a review for the fridge replacement, but it will take 5 to 7 business days. Call tech asking them to add the notes to the case or if I called the wrong number, no response.

April 23, 2021 - Call again because I did not get an email about next steps. I wait on hold for an hour and a half. She promises me she will call me with a status update (so I don't have to be on hold again) and she escalates the replacement to her manager. Tells me it will take 3 days to get a decision. She says she will call me either way, never calls.

May 4, 2021 - Never got a call from the agent so I call Frigidaire again. Agent told me that the request wasn't even submitted till the 30th. He promises I receive an email that week. Never receive an email.

May 16, 2021 - still haven't received an email, any correspondence, or any phone calls. I have spent over 20 hours on hold just making phone calls. I get an anxiety attack every time I have to call. Still do not have a working refrigerator.

I have had the same experience as you almost word for word. First issues started on 2-16, fridge was purchased 6-22-20. Hours on hold, several apts, last 2 cancelled due to car accident and then van in the shop for repair. Original issue was the refrigerator was displaying an error of and freezing everything in the refrigerator section. They have replaced 2 thermostats, after the second cancellation on 5-17 the motor has now gone out and we have no refrigerator. I have called customer service too many times to even remember and been on hold for hours. On Monday they were supposed to call me back later that day after again they were escalating our issue. Technician is scheduled to come June 2nd, we will see if A & E Factory appliance shows up since they have already established a pattern of making excuses. I understand the accident, however van is in the shop? Really... How are they servicing their other customers. Made a complaint to the BBB, and looking to see if there is a class action suit against them. I also have extreme anxiety when I have to call them. I am sorry you are going through this also. What happened to good customer service.

Frigidaire Frigidaire dishwasher

I purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher almost a year ago. It has never worked, not even once since I bought it. Frigidaire has sent technicians out six times, they have replaced the same same parts multiple times. They will not deem the dishwasher unrepairable . They claim that the technician says it can be repaired although two different techs they sent out told me it was unrepairable and even called the Frigidaire tech line from my kitchen so I could hear them tell Frigidaire that it is unrepairable, which Frigidaire denies any such calls have taken place. Today when I contacted them again, they told me they only have records of one service visit to my home. I supplied them with dates of the other visits which they deny have occurred. They even shipped replacement parts directly to my home for two of the repair visits. They said they have no record of any parts being sent to me. This is absolutely bonkers that they refuse to replace the defective item. I have to take a day off of work for each visit to my home by a technician, I have used seven of my paid days off over the course of the year just for repair appointments, that they now claim have never occurred.
They told me today I must have registered my appliance with incorrect information, which is bananas since I used photo register with the QR code inside the door of the dishwasher, so I could not have incorrectly entered information.

Frigidaire Gallery all fridge

Bought a frigidaire set all fridge/all freezer 18m ago for a custom kitchen. They are complete junk. Warranty is a complete joke we've been without a fridge for 9 weeks with a family of 5 in a pandemic. Frigidaire will not answer phones. The company has discontinued the model which is clearly defective- now that we have read the overwhelming negative reviews. The updated model is a different size than the existing all freezer...forcing us to purchase a complete new set and having to spend thousands remodelling a brand new kitchen to accommodate different specs of appliances. Would give 0/5 if I could.

Frigidaire Freezer

Broken twice lost food both times.
Wait period for repairs over three weeks. Four months old broke twice over three weeks that is repair. That's almost 1/4 of the time I've owned it.
I will never purchase another appliance from your company. This should be replaced not repaired twice as I hold my breath until it is broken down again.
This has been a terrible experience
I wish it on know one.
It is a shame you don't stand behind your equipment
I will never recommend your appliances to anyone.

I'm sorry to hear of your frustration. I can appreciate your feelings.

Unfortunately there isn't a brand that doesn't have some level of breakdowns. It's become that much more difficult since the advent of Covid-19. Both products and the parts to produce them have become increasingly more difficult to come by.

The first step should be checking with the retailer you purchased the freezer through. Many offer additional services to help you in this very situation. Hopefully that will help resolving any of your issues.

I would like to purchase new one. With help from frigidare money wise. Thank you. My phone [protected] I did not buy a warranty at time of purchase so this time im going to look at the 5 year warranty. I also need help with installation of microwave. Frigidaire Refrigerator

I purchased a refrigerator on October 2, 2020. It stopped cooling on March 30. A repairman from Major
Home Appliance repair sent by Frigidaire came on April 1. He said the compressor was bad. Too date my refrigerator has not been repaired although I have called Frigidaire many times. I am a senior living without a refrigerator.
