I saw the commercial on tv to become a caregiver for a loved, so I decided to reach out to them and they are the WORST! Now keep in mind, I have been a personal caregiver for 22 years working with various home health care agencies with a 50 mile radius of my hometown. This company is basically a payroll company focusing on taking the state's money and not focusing on patient centered care. As a caregiver, I would have assumed that there would be a single contact person but instead there are several people that answer the phone and throw you around from one person to the other and then when you ask to speak to a supervisor you get the run around for several days. These places is filled with people who are script readers and are not patient focused and have no clue how to provide home health care services to individuals or how to treat people as employees. Even the supervisors you speak to on the phone give scripted answers and do not have enough knowledge to focus on employees or clients. Their commercial states that you get paid $14.50/hr. but when you sign up with them they lower you pay per county-Is this a bait and switch? I have reported this to a supervisor!
Steer clear of this company-you are better off going through a home based health care agency near your hometown.
Recommendation: DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
This company is the worst company for anybody who needs to do family care. I tried to get it so my family could be compensated, run as far away from this company as you can. they say it's easy when you first call, but my family member had to do a crash course in CNA that took four days, they don't want to be a nurse, they don't need to know Anatomy and physiology, they make it hard for families to do care, i would not refer this company to anybody trying to take care of their family they do a bait and switch were they tell you it's easy you do step one than they say you have step two than they say you have to do step 3 and it never ends. This company is not family-friendly. I was so irritated and annoyed that the people who answer the phone speak broken English, and you can't speak with a supervisor. It's a mess.
