Flipcause, a fundraising, campaign, and donor management platform continues to hold $1,000 of our funds, raised through 20 transactions between March 11, 2025 and May 10, 2025. Beginning on May 14th I have made a total of 8 requests for Flipcause to transfer the funds immediately into our account of record. Two requests were made through our account portal (account was closed May 31 and access to the portal terminated) with remaining via email to accounts@flipcause.com. They do respond positively each time, but alas, they still haven't made the ACH transfer.
We first opened an account with Flipcause in May 2018 and the first several years the company was responsive with service performed (I had used Flipcause with another nonprofit). In 2022 I began to notice a delay in ACH fund transfer beyond their 7-10 day stated period. Each time it would take 2 or 3 messages from me (from the portal and/or email) for the funds to eventually be transferred, often 30-, 60-, even 90-days from the original request. Some time in 2022 I noticed they no longer had a client support phone number.
Their latest reply said their ACH system is limited to a number of transactions each day (really?) and that they will get to this in due time ... IT'S BEEN 106 DAYS AND STILL COUNTING!
Claimed loss: $1,000
Desired outcome: Transfer the funds NOW! Stop stealing (or unauthorized "borrowing") other peoples' money (presumably to stay afloat).
