As a ‘driver' for Enterprise/Holdings, my job entails picking up the ‘customers' van, taking it to a service center - Firestone/NTB - & returning the van in a ‘timely' manner (before the customers leave x) simple. Rarely do I encounter a ‘customer service issue', but did so on Wednesday November 17, 2021.
I ‘never' go to this Firestone b/c they do not ‘work for me' but I was told to go here, to finish up service that needed to be completed - a brake job, parts were there, as confirmed by Hugo. Hugo was out, & the parts were not there, they arrived @ 12:30 - service was started @ 1:30, I returned the van 15 min. Before the customer left.
During the ‘wait' - I walked to a nearby drugstore, & ate my lunch outside.
Returning to Firestone, I asked to watch CNN - several national trials were televised - (no other customers were in the waiting area) the channel was turned to ‘History' - car repair, I then pointed the control @ the tv - the young woman staff person, lunged @ me, reaching for the control, asking what I wanted - CNN. She put it on CNN - but within minutes, she changed it to TNT - I was still the only person in the waiting area. Toying w/ me. Another staff person - finally put it on CNN.
With my van sitting on the ‘heavy' rack, the perpendicular to all others, I stepped over to view the ‘progress' on the van, I was rudely told I could not do so (by the same female staff person) although it is an open area w/o any ‘employee signs'.
Enterprise had a driver - that was ‘cuffed & stuffed' @ this location, several years back - it reflects badly on the other Enterprise drivers, another reason I never go here for service.
As I was checking out - I told the ‘female' staff person I would never return to be ‘scolded' by her'. Someone stepped in, saying, he'd report me to my supervisor. He was ‘unaware' that the ‘female' service person - was ‘toying with/ me.
The above behavior, needs to end, I was NOT the person stuffed & cuffed, & should not suffer his repercussions! I should be treated like any other ‘customer'
Desired outcome: Customer Service refresher course
