My personal Facebook account was permanently disabled three years ago after I became the victim of an online hack.
It all started when I launched an ad from a game. Without my consent, the app somehow gained access to my Facebook account. I was instantly logged out, and everything happened so fast that I didn’t even understand what was going on.
Shortly after, Facebook asked me to send my ID for verification, which I did immediately. But 24 hours later, I received a message saying that my account was permanently disabled, and that the only thing I could do was download my information.
To this day, I still hope that Facebook will allow me to recover my account. It’s not just a social media profile — it holds memories, posts, and achievements that mean a lot to me. I had that account since January 2014, and I’ve always respected Facebook’s community standards. I’ve never posted anything harmful or inappropriate.
I’m just a regular user who was hacked, and it’s heartbreaking to be treated like I did something wrong. It still hurts to see my old profile appear in group chats as “deactivated.”
If anyone at Meta could kindly review my case and restore my account, I would be deeply grateful. Please — I’m just asking for a chance to get back something that truly matters to me.
Claimed loss: Lost my 2014 Facebook account with all posts, videos, and my page “Solomona sy ny namany.” My 2020 cover had 27k views, 3k reactions, 1k shares — all gone, along with opportunities and audience.
Desired outcome: I want Facebook to restore my disabled account or let me recover my page “Solomona sy ny namany” so I can regain my work, memories, and artistic visibility.
