I rented a car from their Bulgaria Sofia airport location via Expedia for August 15-19, 2026. The rental car company charged me my full deposit of 1500 Euros on August 18, before I even returned the vehicle.
The day after returning the vehicle, I received an email from the rental car company, stating they were retaining my full deposit due to damage to the vehicle on the windshield and passenger side sill. This is completely false! There was no additional damage to the vehicle during my rental period, and I have videos and photos to prove it. I asked the rental car company for photos of the alleged damage and they ignored my requests.
I contacted Priceless Rental Car (part of the NPR Auto Group) hoping they would resolve the issue for me. Even though I have a case number PR003377: PREXN10671841, NPR Auto Group is doing nothing to help me get my deposit back. I emailed and called numerous times before they even responded to me. I still have a charge of $1738.05 on my credit card statement, with the bill coming due.
I asked Priceless Rental Car to help me file a police report in Bulgaria to help me get my money back, and they refused to help me. I don't understand why the onus is on the customer to get a deposit refunded. The onus should be on the company that is committing fraud. NPR Auto Group should be investigating and resolving the problem of criminal activity of one of their locations.
But instead, they choose to do nothing. Horrible company with zero accountability and integrity.
Recommendation: Don't use them!
