Priceless fraud

This was the worst car rental experience in my life. Besides having to wait in line for 2 hours in the sun with a baby on a rooftop parking lot for a car that was already reserved and all paperwork provided in advance online, they kept my entire $200 deposit for cleaning fees. Apparently, vacuuming the car is not part of their regular cleaning routine. Not for trash, nor stains, liquid spills, smoke smell, or anything remotely out of the ordinary, but for simply having to vacuum the car. If there were perhaps a standard cleaning fee of up to $50 included in the beginning of the rental, for example, I might just consider them petty, but I never experienced any car rental company keeping and ENTIRE deposit for cleaning fees when there is absolutely no damage to the vehicle, no less gas, or anything else they ask you about in the pre inspection. They certainly didn’t give me the vehicle in clean condition as though it had gone through a $200 detail cleaning. It was only relatively acceptable for the cheaper price that I had chosen the business for. The 2 hour in person wait made the cheaper price absolutely not worth it, but to keep the entire deposit for vacuuming the car is absolutely fraudulent. Even reviewing the emailed rental agreement and their online policies in retrospect, their is no indication that such excessive cleaning charges would exist.
