This company for the first time I felt something fishy very fishy. They are a bunch of Indians scammers sitting in the office they just doing a fraud do not trust your credit card. They are very dangerous, scammers illegal aliens working there be careful they have fraud and scammers they come to your personal information on the clear out your bank. Be careful this company must go from Dubai. I never ever thought Dubai. They have a such a company allow to run a business to scam. The tourists are. they have a catch a price for the Rent-A-Car don’t go with this company. Be careful you end up paying too much. What they charge you or what they tell you they scam on me my credit card do not give any information about your credit card

I'd taken a SUV on rent for a day for 200 AED. I'd asked for home delivery, so they'd charged 40 aed extra. The fraudulent part comes at the time of getting back the deposit amount. They'd charged addtional 263 AED. When I asked the reason, they said 200 for 1 day rent, 50 for admin transfer charges and 13 vat amount. The thing is that their driver wasn't available on the same day, so he'd picked up the next day. When I told him this, he quickly changed his response and said it's the pickup charges. That was so ridiculous as the charge was 210 aed for pickup, which is more than the rent itself.

Moreover nowhere did they mention in any of the conversation about separate delivery and pickup charges. Common sense says that when you ask for delivery at home, you'd expect them to pick up the car as well. In addition they charge 50 aed as transfer fees. Even DED is unable to help you since it's written in the agreement somewhere on the back page.

Bab Al Madina Rent a Car company is threatening me that they will file a civil case against me.They filed a police case before and I was blocked at the airport . Since I didn't have any other option, I paid the money and travelled to India. I called them after I came back from my vacation but nobody responded.

But in 2020 itself , I have cleared everything. And when I followed up for the security deposit , they started charging me extra money from my card automatically. They started telling me I have pending payment for damages which I have to pay. And I closed that account just because of this.

Bab Al Madeena Rent a Car is a fraud scam. They give cars in 40 AED but write 180 AED in contract and get it signed. There oral communication is 40 AED but they ask to sign customer on a page which has daily rental 180 AED per day. Please never get in this scam. They never give back deposit. Report it to police. They are fraud and scam number of people in UAE.

Do not rent from Bab Al Madeena Car Rental. They do not respond, they do not tell the truth, the cars they deliver are not what you ordered and are not fit or safe to drive. They deduct money from your deposit without agreement and then refuse to properly respond to complaints. They are unprofessional and untrustworthy. There are many better car rental companies with better cars, prices and customer service.

They didn’t give back our deposit aswell and they deduct alot including like fines but we make sure that we paid the fines on our own and it take forever for them to get back to us when we message them. For a 1000 aed deposit they just return 120aed but it took them 4 months before giving it back. I hope dubai police or whatever check this company because as i read there are a lot of conplaints with the same matter. This company like this in dubai can make most of tourist experience bad.

NEVER Rent from Bab Al Madeena, it's a mechanic store renting old vehicles.

I was in Dubai in Feb. 2022 and found them online, the salespeople were very good at convincing me, the car I was given was a 2015 Kia Picanto with more than 150000.00 Miles which was fine until I drove it from Dubai to Abu Dhabi this is when the engine started to shut off completely on the freeway where the speed is about 160 km/hour.

Thankfully I didn't get into an accident, I called them and they advised me to visit their store, a young kid looked into it and said it was the fuel pump! he went to another similar car uninstalled the old pump and reinstalled it on the one I have, (using a hammer and screwdriver), then said I should be ok, the same problem happened again this is when I threatened them to call the Dubai police so they replaced the Kia with a Mitsubishi Mirage little better than the Kia.

At the end of the rental period, I asked to refund my $400 deposit and this is another nightmare they started to say we have to see if you have tickets and wait for 21 business days, which was OK then after 37 days they asked for my bank account, I said please refund to the same credit card and they refused.

I have a one-speed ticket of $100 but they refunded me $245 without justifying the difference, only said the difference is admin fees.

In general, they are all rude mechanics and don't know anything about customer service

Each time I contact them to ask a question, they say please remind us in a few days.

Bab Al Madeena is the worst car rental agency I've ever dealt with. I have all of the tools necessary to shut down this company, but I don't have the time to pursue a local case with them (although I have started one and had to close it) because I travel frequently and didn't have the time to attend the hearings. I wish their website was labeled in red SCAMMERS. These people have no place in this or any other business.   It would be extremely beneficial to others if anyone has the time and resources to pursue a case with them.

Be cautious if you rent a car from them. Check the speedometer because I rented a vehicle with a faulty speedometer, which an authorized garage confirmed. Not to mention that no deposit has been returned since I rented two cars, and they have charged me the amount for the fines caused by their speedometer after nearly a year, despite my repeated requests for a proper invoice and the deposit status.

If you are told that the car delivery fee is AED 35, they will charge AED 35, and if you are told that the return fee will be similar AED 35, you will be charged AED 210. A total of AED 245. They'll say you signed for it, and in my case, it was never proved, but I was charged. 

If local authosities would pay them a visit, would be great.

I rented a car from them on 7 Feb. At that time I told them that I may renew after 3 days. So they told me they will in that case apply a lower charge. They sent me whatsapp message confirming this. After 3 days when I told them I will extend they told me to pay based on the higher rate & at time of handover they would apply the lower rate. On the day I returned the car 14 Feb they changed their story saying the lower charge applies only if I confirm for 7 days at the time of booking the car. They refused to acknowledge the whatsapp message. So I ended up paying a higher amount. And after 1 month when they refunded my deposit they made adfitional cuts claiming SALIK charges which I had already settled. Do not deal with these guys - they are absolute cheats & rogues.co. shoild be closed down.

I have rented a car with them for 01 day with an information passed on to me to place a security deposit. After more than a month of waiting, I have requested them to refund back the deposit. Unfortunately, they have refunded back a reduced security deposit. Do not fall in their request of security deposit and besides the car they are giving to the customers are so smelly and lack of cleanliness.

I got car on 20/02/[protected]@ night I made payment in advance. Even took test drive the car was not good at all brek was not working the guy promised me he was exchange in next morning.

I was calling him he avoided my call.

I know this is a long complaint but it will give you an idea about this awful company. I have honestly never seen such bad service in UAE and I have been here for over 15 years. I made the mistake to rent because this was the best price I found, but I deeply regretted it after. because of the Expo car rental prices have grown substantially but that is a fluctuating situation as often things are here. Car rental companies haven't really grasped that and some are using this as an excuse to treat customers bad or turn them away. This is definitely the case with MOOSA RENT A CAR or BAB AL MADEENA CAR RENTAL. Their very dodgy offices (I saw 2) look like downtown Beirut, where 5 or 6 people are cramped up in tiny closet spaces, no one wares masks and a flux of at least 20 people are entering and exiting this "closet" at any given time, unaware new customers are waiting in corners and existing ones are constantly screaming furiously because of extra charges and what is happening to them after dealing with this company.
I dealt with them through watsapp only at first, and after being promised a delivery in 2 hrs I ended up waiting 6 and no one answered the phone when I tried calling. In the end I ended up receiving a car that looked like someone was sick in .. I uploaded some photos, and when I said I don't want it, I was promised an exchange the next day. Of course that did not happen so I drove somewhere close to Al Ain as instructed via watsapp where I was told they don't have anything and "this car is very good, a customer just saw it and he wants it"
Obviously he only saw the car on the outside I replied .. After an hour debate I managed to get something moderately better but still dirty inside.
I had an emergency so had to return the car 10 days before the term. I was told I will not get a refund and 2 months later, I am still waiting for half of my deposit back. Don't make the same mistake I made .. just pay a little extra somewhere else and save yourself a big headache.

I rent the card over 3 months from now, June 22nd and return the car on the first week of August, they shared with me the policy of deposit refund, where they will refund me theoney after 21 days of returning the car, as said it was returned already first week of August 5th, till date is 2 montha, and still waiting yet to receive the deposit.
Honestly I'm advising anyone to avoid renting car from this agency, they are not transparent and surely to keep the money as long as possible, probably to use your money for long term.

I rented a car from Bab Al Madeena Rent a Car, after 3 days I called them to fix the brakes as it was not working properly, they did not care, after many calls and complaints they gave me another car which is more bad. then again they gave me the old car again and I think they did not fix anything. on the same day I had an accident because of the brakes and they want me to pay AED 2, 100 as per the contract. I read the contract and they wrote in case of total loss I have to pay AED 2, 100 + 30% of the car original price. now I don't have car since 2 days and I can't go to work because of them.

 This is the worst car rental company I have dealt with in whole wide world. The car was delivered already dirty, smelly with stained chairs, dashboard and zero working air-condition. I immediately asked for another car and refused to take it. The driver Hasn't Ali then persuaded me that we can go to Al Qouz and check in their workshop for similar car with functioning AC ... mind it was 51°c those days in Dubai. After 3 hours of everything and tru and forth I was told to keep the car and that they will replace it before night at 9pm latest . .. unfortunately nothing happened.. I had to chase 2 days long.. and even told them take this car back and I want my deposit everything as it is.. but all they kept saying is come to our office .. this isn't customer service ... its their fault, and they are liable to replace specially if you are convining the customer everything on phone that "yes, we will sort, please don't worry...  just give us some time.. we are trying to get you a better functioning car" with lil trust I gave them the chance to sort it.

When I went to their office it's a mess, the staff are so unprofessional, the manager Ayaaz gets sweet because he doesn't want customer to leave specially if its just 3day of rental and I want to annul it. I feel like this company is taking advantage of tourists, conducting fishy business and fool customer by their false promises and false advertisement.

The deposit charge which is typically blocked was deducted upon the reservation which is never a case anywhere worldwide with car rental.. they all "Pre-Authorise" the deposit instead of taking it off my credit card.

The car(I had 3 cars .. each as replacement) these went off on 5 occasions, I called them and they never responded and cared less and was promised a good car .. I asked them to take back and deliver me the car once its available because its of no use. Unfortunately I had to fly away and they took advantage and delayed the replacement... which I had to do myself because they kept saying "come to our officd".. though I told them the car is hazardous to drive.. not road safe and I fear it may breakdown anytime while driving. Because I was in need and had time and work pressure.. I risked my life for their convenience... apart from that I had my deposit taken and didn't want to wait 21 days to bear the loss.
SoI agreed upon to bear the hassel and change the car at their site.

But after few days i seriously decided to return it after reading the reviews that got me scared but again Ayaaz(manager) made me promise that I wouldn't face difficulties and he will try to resolve the car issue.

They don't tell customer to read contract nor give much time to read contract... WELL YOU CANT READ tiny written on the pink thin paper contract without a magnifying loop in hand. But they keep mentioning it when you ask them questions .. their reply "written/mentioned on contract"  what any sane human with best eyesight can't read and has very dodgy clauses... which is internationally not legal and unethical.

They see westerners come in and fraudulently take their money. On every occassion I was in there someone was complaining and I kept telling I want to return .. I had enough ... but Ayaaz made again good excuses and said it will be solved and I don't need to fear though I mentioned him that the car has damages which were made by the staff just after he was delivering it to me .. note I signed when it was intact.. then the staff made damage which I filmed but because I was on far right corner I didn't notice that the crack was on both sides as he took car down the ramp. The car S 85560 had already a damaged bumper when I took the car and the other side of bumper unfortunately didn't take a video... to my surprise on day of return I have been told to make a police report as the damage is new ... it was uselessness talking to them even after calling the police and the police said he couldn't take anyone's side because there isn't a video proof that the other damage was there before. So I had to go to police station and make a damage report. Only then they took the car keys back and closed the contract.

This the first time i see a company in dubai that easly cheat and have orgonaized team for cheating, they deal with cheating way and beacuse most custumer are tourist and they dont have time to follow up they get away very easily with their frauds and decisive tactics.

These scampers laugh on your face and say do whatever you want or go to which ever authority.. as if they know they will not be harmed or taken accountable. As if they have some friendly connection with someone in high rank who will protect them ...as a woman, I feel lost, helpless, angered and frustrated ... what a disgrace of a company which is ruining UAE's standard of service and hospitality .. please help me and assist me that they don't charge me 2100 for a damage which was already there .. atleast the right side with prove that it was made by their staff.

Im reporting.. read my experience with them in post above.. the more people report them the better it would be to stop these goons to cheat on people.

I had rented a car from Bab al Madeena Rent a Car Dubai on 8 Jul 2021 and i paid a deposit of aed 1000. As per the contract i was supposed to get back the deposit after 21 days from the date of return of the car. I started contacting the car rental staff through watsapp and calls but no one answers my calls and messages. In fact i received one reply from one of their staff +[protected] redirecting me to another watsapp number +[protected] for the refund and when i messaged that number the person didnt bother to reply to my mssgs despite reading it all. Kindly advice and help me seek this money back. Its a big amount for me and i have the full right to get it back as it was . . Please help! Thanks

Worst car rental company! Scammers! Nasty staff.. Thick skinned [censored]! They will trap u in their scam! I called the police and they also cant do anything! Very surprised! Tourists are warned agains thtis company! Strange things is when police arrived, they said we know these people are cheaters! Why isnt government not doing anything then they already have so many complains? If u go to their fb page u will find so many complains! And yet they are protected! Worst car rental! Scammers! They are most ruthless and thick skinned [censored]! They will charge yr card against yr approval! Rascals they are!

I had given a deposit of 750 aed and upon washing the car (as per policy), i went to the office before 1pm. The staff had a meeting and nobody to attend me to take the car. I waited and they deducted 210 aed from the deposit (which I received after 1.5 months) for "late delivery of the vehicle". I advised to check the cctv or the car wash receipt. No response from the company. I complained in DED, they said nothing can be done as cctv cant be accessed by them and the car wash receipt can have an older time.

Rented a car from them on 15th Dec 2020 for 21 days and returned on 4th Jan 2021 for a period of 21days with full rental amount in advance along with the Deposit of 1500 Dirhams.
But out of 1500 Dirhams they just transfer me Sr847.00 without giving any details.
