Eurowings review: Unfair & fraud conditions to cancel error of country before the delay of 24h at the wrong purchase

🇬🇧 Public Complaint – Documented booking error reported within 19.5 hours
Booking made on 29 October at 21:30.
Customer service reachable on 30 October at 17:00 to cancel a clear digital navigation error.

Due to similar airport abbreviations (ST = Stuttgart DE / Strasbourg FR), the booking was mistakenly made for Stuttgart (Germany) instead of Strasbourg (France) for flights on 19 & 28 December.

Key facts:
• Error reported within 19.5 hours
• Payment was still pending at the time of the request
• I do not live in Germany

According to:
• EU Directive 2011/83/EU
• French Consumer Code Article L221-18 (right of withdrawal)
• French Monetary & Financial Code Article L133-18 (pending payment rejection)

This situation qualifies as a valid withdrawal from a distance purchase.
Refusing to refund under these conditions contradicts EU consumer fairness principles.

Despite this, Eurowings ignored the request and continued sending automated promotional emails.

I am requesting the application of the law by documented error, reported within the legal timeframe.

En raison d’abréviations proches (ST = Stuttgart DE / Strasbourg FR), le vol a été réservé par erreur pour Stuttgart (Allemagne) au lieu de Strasbourg (France), pour les dates 19 et 28 décembre.

Faits établis :
• Erreur signalée sous 19h30
• Paiement encore en attente bancaire
• Je ne réside pas en Allemagne

Conformément à :
• la Directive européenne 2011/83/UE
• l’article L221-18 du Code de la consommation
• l’article L133-18 du Code monétaire et financier

Il s’agit d’un droit de rétractation valable sur un achat à distance.
Refuser le remboursement dans ce contexte est contraire aux principes de protection du consommateur européen.

Malgré cela, Eurowings n’a apporté aucune réponse de fond et a continué à envoyer des messages promotionnels automatisés.

Je demande l’application du droit, réservé par erreur et signalé dans les délais légaux.

Claimed loss: 304,98€ + 2 extra travels to arrive to the wrong country of the flights

Desired outcome: Eurowings get the flights (go/return) at 19/12 around 80kms of STRASBOURG/FRANCE or Eurowings pay me back the 2 extra charges of travel to get the wrong flights from/to Stuttgart/Germany for Christmas holidays family at Lisbon
