I purchased a dragonfly mask on June 28 and received it on July 3 from Katherine Pattillo Wilsey, 3404 Kensington Ct., Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 . I contacted the seller KatieBethsKorner to let her know that the mask was too tight and didn't fit. She responded with the following:
Yes, I am sorry that it doesn't fit. You can just mail it back to me and I can make the adjustments. If you cover the shipping here, I will cover the shipping back to you. There isn't an extra fee to make an adjustment.
I hope you like the mask otherwise. :)
So I returned the mask to her on July 13 via USPS and haven't heard back to date on the status of the mask. I wrote a personal note to the seller and have tried to contact her through email messages but no response.
Etsy must have blocked my messages as well as my invoice of purchase on the website because I am not able to access the page. The purchase is not showing up under my recent purchases.

Escalate my open case - #[protected]
I have not been contacted by an Esty agent, or given the option to escalate my case filed on 8/2 as advised on your website. I've already been in contact with the seller, and he does not wish to resolve this matter. My order does not fit the description of a photo I submitted at the time of my purschase. The image processed on the bag, doesn't match the color tone of the image provided. I would greatly appreciate a response to my inquiry.

Etsy offered free shipping for orders over $35, my order totaled $110.44.
Total shipping I was charged #30.71. I called and complained Etsy gave me a gift card for $18 at that time I informed Etsy that I wanted all the money I paid for shipping because according to their website shipping would be free and to add insult to injury Etsy credited me a gift card when I asked for my money to be returned to the card I use to make the purchase.. Please help
$347.00 special order never received
In may of 2017 I ordered a custom wool felted sculpture & pin in the likeness of my yorkie from gerry of gourmetfelted on etsy ($347.50) she had lots of reasons why it was not completed — a waiting list, illness and family death, divorce. I have contacted gerry many times — all I get are more excuses & empty promises. I‘m sick of it, I want a refund!
Wrongful closure of my shop
I was a very successful and well respected seller on etsy for 6 years. I had no complaints against me or my shop with 100% sales ratings. One day I noticed my store to be unusually quiet, I logged in and my shop was closed with no reason or explanation.
Turns out they closed my shop because someone else totally independent of me or my shop had been closed down the same day. My housemate that uses the same ip address was shut down that day so they just wiped my 2 shops out too. My housemate had her own shops, own PayPal, own bank accounts associated with etsy. I have been trying to get them to open my stores back up but to no avail. When a speeder gets pulled over the driver gets the ticket not the other that happen to be in the car.
I have heard about this happening to alot of people and I think it's so wrong and unfair. This was my career and source of income being messed with. This happened in 2014 and since then I have been struggling to make the same income and get the traffic. Especially, now in the pandemic with fellow Americans struggling it would be nice to help someone that was wronged and make it right!

Customer service called back, and she said the order was shipped and she gave me tracking. But showed no other charges. And never received an email with this confirmation still.
Not sure what your people are doing or if they all look at the same screens, but because of the unprofessionalism of my multiple calls from 9 am to about noon. I had to call my bank and cancel my card and alert them of all the Esty charges maybe or maybe not coming through.
Then after being accused of placing these orders and someone must have used my computer and ordered them. I am the only person to use this laptop. So being accused of something on my first order was BS.
I will definitely not be using your company again. To go through as mush BS as I have had to for one item, then have my Esty account hacked and other orders being placed on it, no emails or calls to inform or ask but to then accuse….
I tried to reach the corp. office and no one answers, or it says you don't take any incoming calls. What kind of BS is that? If I did that to my client I would be out of business.
A very disappointed new customer guess I am going back to Amazon.
I will for sure tell my friends and colleagues of my experience with ETSY.

Defective face masks - unethical behavior
Bre's Sweet Factory is a seller on ESTY and this seller is a scam. They sold defective face masks, authorized a return, and then refused to refund money because they claimed I made the face mask defective. What a way to defraud people out of their hard earned money.

Unlawful conduct, etsy claimed my policies are nothing
My shop listed a nest thermometer in like-new condition both aesthetically and functioning. We offered free shipping and our policy we have had in place for years states to contact us first with inquiries, all sales final. Instead the buyer filed a fraudulent case and lied stating we shipped him a damaged item but never displayed any pictures of any damage...

I ordered a rug from wakaleka invoice id#[protected]_[protected], I was very disappointed in the rug when I received it. It was more like a tablecloth than it was a rug. It was very thin. I contacted the seller and told her I was returning the rug and she suggested that a rug pad would help and she would send me a rug pad. Well, I received the rug pad and it was thinner than the rug. I contacted her again and told her I was sending the products back, they were shipped from north carolina and I live in south carolina. She said I would have to send it back to guatemala. I went to fedex and the wanted $339.00 to ship it to guatemala which is more than I spent on the rug ($216.14)

This company was selling defective face masks. The have received many negative reviews on this face mask. When I received the face mask, I contacted them immediately that the face mask was defective. I returned the face mask within the period allowed. They received the face mask and informed me that the mask had blood on it, was damaged and they refused to provide a refund.
This company is a scam and have since stopped selling the face mask. The mask was purchased on 5/26/20 transaction #[protected] for $16.19. This company sent me photos of the face mask that I did not damage and it was not damaged in the mail. It is despicable that a company would stoop so low to steal people's hard earn money. I do not believe ESTY would want to be associated with this company.
Way esty does reviews
I do not think it is right that Etsy only allows you to include photos unless a review is 5 stars and if it is 3 stars or below the review does not get added by date. By intentionally placing more recent and negative reviews below more positive and older reviews, Etsy is tricking customers and potentially allowing them to purchase an item that is no longer up to standard from previous purchases.
Stalking and harassment
Sunshine's My Little Pony Shoppe dragged out a purchase for six months, from August 2019 to February 2020. When my friend posted a complaint online, Lindsey "Sunshine" Bock sent her friends after her with harassing messages. When my friend complained that Lindsey was sending harassment, Lindsey Sunshine Bock sent her husband to call my friend's family with legal threats and terrorizing language, quote "I'm going to sue you, I know where you work, your name and your family's names". It's illegal to use information from a business for other purposes, like harassment! Lindsey should learn how to run a business, but first learn how to obey the law and stop being a bully! Reduced visibility on my shop
I have received an email from Etsy yesterday (27/5/2020) advising me due to current open orders my shops visibility will be reduced until I "catch up".
My shop has been open for 2 years and is a Dog accessories businessm recently I have also added facemasks to my shop to help people due to Covid, however due to this reduced visibilty I am not getting any orders from customers and I have external adverts outside of Etsy driving business to my shop and Pattern website - if I cannot be found this will make me look terrible,
my outstanding order are all within date and I am speaking with my customers and movbing despatch dates if there is an issue. I understand I was busy, however surely the decision to close my shop or reduce orders should be my decision, I have now lost approxmiateing 300GBP in orders today.
Please could you advise how and when my shop will be back on line and whether I will receive an email stating its back.
I believe its been "unindexed" in Etsy terms.
Sold products
I was selling Covid awareness pin buttons on etsy. They shut down my shop and told me I was exploiting people. When they shut it down I was in the middle of a transaction. Etsy tells me if your shop is shut down for any reason you are responsible for refunding the customers money and sending them their merchandise. OK? But you shut down my shop. I have no way of telling what they ordered. And I cant refund them their money because etsy has it.
Has no way to contact it for any seller support
Etsy has no way to contact it, it shuts down product without notice and de-index stores costing thousands in damages. I have a very popular store on Etsy that has thousands of views. As of last weekend, my store has disappeared from Etsy search as well as my products. I have lost thousands of dollars because there is no communication from Etsy and no way to contact them to resolve the problem.
suspension
Hello there, our shop is suspended because of a connection of another shop.
Before years we helped some friends to set their shop from our pc. We share some information with them, as we had some experience that time to join etsy comunity and make a living. Now they have problems with odr and our shop is suspeneded as safety team consider it our second shop.
Is it possible to have two shops and one with excellent services and the second with problems?
Is it fair to have our shop shut down because we tried to help?

I have been trying to log into my account and you keep trying to send me an access code to a phone number that I no longer have but in order to contact Etsy support I have to be able to login to my account which makes absolutely no sense at all. I just tried calling the phone number I found online but you don't take incoming calls. To top it all off when I click the submit button just submit this complaint it wanted me to sign into my account. I wouldn't be submitting a complaint if I could sign in to my account. Most companies have another option providing codes to the user using back up phone numbers or email addresses on the account but apparently Etsy doesn't have that option to add backup phone numbers or email addresses that you can choose from to send a code to. Please contact me so I can resolve this issue I have uninstalled your app and I have no desire to work harder not smarter to try to resolve this. Dear Etsy .. I don't know what your policy is on this subject. I sell vintage perfumes, and I go to a great deal of trouble to provide my buyers with all the information I can about each perfume.
While browsing other Etsy sellers, I came across the above listing for a perfume that I also sell. I discovered that the seller has copied and pasted my exact narrative word for word from my similar item. Here is my listing:

I contacted the seller about this, and received a curt response saying "Do you want to be cited?". I responded saying that I felt that was the least they could do after stealing my narrative. I have not heard anything back from the seller and there is no change in their listing. I feel that the seller has 'dissed' me and is quite rude and uncaring.
I would like to know what Etsy's policy is on this. I don't think it is right that another seller, who is a competitor, should use my description for their product. Please advise.

My store was wrongly shut down, I receive an email once from Esty that I am selling products that are not in their 3 categories. They said the removed some of my listings. After 2 days they shut down my store. I tried to see if I can resolve the issue but they refused. I have my own brand designed by me. I told they to please remove the items they think I cannot sell on esty but they refused. And sent me an intimidating email saying I should never open an esty store, if I do they will close it. I am will to join a class action lawsuit

My Etsy account was hacked and my email was changed by this person and they made unauthorized charges to several shops. I cannot contact Etsy customer service because it requires me to sign in with my email which is no longer associated with my account because this person changed it there's no alternative to how I reach Etsy to let them know of this problem because there's no working phone number and I've tried everything I have been working on this for hours. This is ridiculous.
Purchased an 'original' 1940s Greetings Card from a seller on Etsy who sent me a 'duplicate' some weeks later (only this time marked as an original 1950s card, same product number etc). Made me doubt that either card was genuine. Seller informed. Reply was full of vitriol (She'd just 'forgotton' to remove an irrelevant sticker 'Original 1950s Greetings Card' from the duplicate card, I should be grateful I have 2 cards etc, etc). I don't want / need 2 cards. I just wanted what I purchased. An original 1940s Greetings Card.
Manic replies from the seller are attached . I appreciate that the seller may have some mental health issues and so have chosen not to reply or follow this up further :-( What would you do?
