Duke Energy review: Hooking up a meter

I got a new home though NC Renew, I was told since we were getting our home put right back where the old one was that we would not have to get our wires ripped out of the ground. Duke sent a kid out on May 4th and disconnected the meter did not rip the wires out.
Now come JUNE22 Duke sends another kid out and he is asking us questions like where is the old meter? He then went on to tell us that he has to rip up our driveway and yard to bury a new wire. I told him No the wire is still in the ground. He asked where, we showed him the wire, and he said no that was not it! He left...
Now I am in a Camper another 2 weeks till someone who knows what they are doing comes and sees the wire is still in the ground!
Why do we have to show a man where the wire is when it is his job to know that already? and why is the homeowner right the whole time but No one will do their job and look? He did not want to get dirty? that's part of the JOB!
I pay the outrages bills already and we all know that DUKE is a MONOPOLY!
If You want to charge me that kind of money, make sure they can do their damn job right and not be dumb.
