DuckDuckGo – Major crash!!!

I downloaded the browser about 5/1 and was using it regularly. It took 15 or 20 minutes to download. When in use it was slow and I constantly got a banner (or it just stopped) that said, "Not Responding" over and over. Then, all of a sudden 5/2 everything stopped for about a half hour and I got a notice that it crashed. I couldn't get it back up again so I switched back to Chrome.
