When there is a problem with DISQUS that doesn't fit their cookie-cutter response sites (that provides you no human to talk with except a general blog that are NOT company representatives) - DISQUS wants you to PAY for any level of decent (human) customer support

My issue - after over a year of using DISQUS they suddenly say I have not posted nor had any responses - YET - on that same webpage making that announcement off to the left of the page it shows I have 7, 400 Comments, 8, 800 Upvotes, and 4 Followers

I don't feel I should have to pay for technical service to correct this when it is entirely DISQUS' fault

who do i talk to resolve this, or at least find out why ?!?

if i go back to a site i find the comment is still there with replies to it.

but ny notifications are frozen on continually "notifying" me about the same comment notifications from a week ago.

so it's not like i've been blocked, but why won't my notifications update ?!?

this is happening on ALL sites, not just individual ones that are therefore not the problem. it's the disquis notifications itself.

My comments are being marked by Disqus as spam when they clearly are not. There is no moderator to contact and the comments are never restored which suggests to me there is no one monitoring the comments which are automatically marked.

This is a comment that was marked as spam: “I only want a helicopter.”

Disqus collects and sells data, They don’t seem to be interested in providing the service they promise web sites

This person, [protected]@alleycatter, on your Mallard Fillmore Arcamax site has been monopolizing the comment section with derogatory, inflammatory, and inappropriate memes for quite some time now. The posts are insulting and often contain sexual innuendo and imagery. His written posts are often sexually and or personally insulting in nature. He is abusive and has no place on a site such as this where children can view his incessant memes and posts. They often take up about 50% of the visual field. You might want to limit or eliminate the posting of images altogether. Blue_Fez @disqus_qGeWjtaCiS is also abusing the posting of images and memes. They cannot be good for driving traffic to this site and could very well take a financial toll by driving subscribers away. Do you not think his "Retard" avatar is offensive? Behavior like this certainly will not drive potential subscribers to this site. Abuse like this should not stand. If there is any moral compass to the moderators of this site they need to take action as soon as they can to make sure activities such as this are not condoned or tolerated. You might also consider limiting the amount of memes posted. They very rarely add anything to the conversation and take up way too much space.

I intend to contact the corporate offices of King Features as well.

Hello all! My screen name is “ darin/maga/doesn’t speak troll.” I very frequently comment on the site gateway pundit, as well as welovetrump. I have never ever used curse words, threatened, or attacked anyone on these sites ever and yet I have been the victim of all three of these things by various leftist trolls, and nothing is ever done with them, and yet recently I have received a “your profile is blocked and you cannot comment blah blah blah…” I refresh and my comment is then posted. I am seriously getting very sick n tired of having to refresh and post. Can you please, for the love of god, fix this! (and start harassing the trolls who rightfully deserve such messages!) thank you. I hope you somewhat care and fix this. Have a wonderful night

Have been trying for months to set up an account with "disqus" so I can make comments to posts on the internet... This outfit "disqus" seems to have control over a lot of internet new media outlets, but block attempts to set up comment accounts. The date of this complaint is december 29th, 2022... I do not have the other dates. I do not even have the email addresss of this outfit : www.ComplaintsBoard.com

I need an email address so I can register this complaint and track the progress. This entity "disqus" seems to operate anonymously and block peoples efforts to make comments to news articles. Please send an email to [protected]@juno.com... It is appalling that this site does not contain an entry for the email address.

Why is it that Disqus defends people who sexualize children?

I ended up getting into a conversation with someone in a comment section under disqus, the cause of the conversation is they were sexualising the underaged characters in stranger things season 4, if you're not aware the villain of the series uses tendrils of flesh like arms, and this person was referencing tentacle porn with these kids.

This begins a brief back and forth until this person calls me a pedophile, what you need to know is this person is known for sexualising children, not even passively or jokingly but they will literally go into known children's communities and post about sex, and cum production.

So why is it that my comment pointing this out was deleted but their comment calling me a pedophile has been up for 11 hours? Why is Disqus siding with, and defending people who sexualize children. this user literally has 2000+ comments on their profile, it's not like this is a one off.

I briefly looked into it and found more than ten times where they've called people pedophiles and two separate times whenever they called people school shooters, including when talking to people who openly stated they are under aged. I also found constant sexualisation of characters regardless of their age.

By the way it took me less than 10 minutes to find these because the user is constantly active on the platform.

Oh, additionally this person has broken the terms of service if that wasn't already stated.

They've been openly racist, referring to anyone who supports Black actors in movies (This conversation was talking about the lead actors in the movie "Nope") as "Fake Woke Activists who pretend to like Samuel L. Jackson and then go back to their Klan Meetings"

Then whenever you factor in the sexualisation of children, and false pedophile and school shooter allegations that instantly breaks literally the first rule of Disqus.

I am sending this at the same time as reporting them, so don't recommend I report them, This complaint is more about the fact that my comment defending myself was deleted within the hour, but their comment with full pedophile allegations has remained up for how many hours?

If it were as simple as my comment was flagged for including the word pedophile that would be fine but the fact that you have two comments with pedophile in them, one making an allegation and the other defending and yet the one that's defending is taken down, but allegation is kept up for however many people to view? That sounds like it was viewed by a human and deleted manually to me.

On several different Disqus sites such as the Spectator magazine and TCW over the last 6 weeks all my comments under the avatar 'bonhommie' are 'Detected as spam'?

I already wrote to 'Disqus spam problems' and they suggested 'Verify your email' and always answer with the thread listed as 'Newest' first.

I Tried both these but still get 'Detected as spam'

I have an issue in connection with my disqus profile on times of malta newspaper. I love to contribute in this newspaper in fact i have over 11k comments, see photo attached. It seems I've done something wrong as there are two profiles one of which i do not want. I have no idea how this profile came about i probably pressed something. As of 2022/10/29, all my comments @hlavnespravy.sk are marked as spam by default. On the same day, I sent an email with a complaint to @hlavnespravy.sk asking for a moderator contact to discuss the issue. On 2022/10/31 I received an email from the editor-in-chief of hlavnespravy.sk confirming that they do not moderate comments and that they are all for freedom of speech.

Despite their assurances every comment of mine on @hlavnespravy.sk are automatically marked as spam (hidden from readers). Can you kindly investigate who did this?

My explanation for my comments are marked as spam is because I am the only pro LGBTIQ+ voice on their platform. The rest of the comments are very homophobic and some of them call for the physical elimination of gay people from society in Slovakia.

I find it very hard to read it especially after the first ever terrorist attack on LGBTIQ+ people on the October 12th 2022, when a terrorist shot dead two young gay men in a gay bar in Bratislava. The killer left a manifesto explaining that he hates gay people because they were a tool of global Jewish supremacy. It was a direct attack on gay people and Jewish people as well.

All my comments being marked as spam. Very simply, They are not. I contacted the appropriate threads Disqus states and their so called "MODS" are part and parcel of the profile as even my comments stating about the fact the situation continues to happen is now being mocked by these toxic people who are classed as "Mods" and other sites I have contacts state "THEY" have no problem with the comments, but they said they couldn't access the folders to restore them.

The fact more so when the so-called Mods are telling you to "Say Hi To Joe Rogan for me" as replies as they attack you and mark your comments as "SPAM".

Not sure what that means, but clearly there is nothing wrong with the comment below.

This is beyond disgusting how these people with fake names, stolen images as profiles and hide behind private profiles are the true toxicity. The fact that I post stating facts on a Disqus help thread and am being attacked by the very people who are supposed to help you says plenty. You can clearly see as my Disqus profile is public and I have enclosed screen shots of evidence showing these abusers flagging and removing even basic requests on Disqus's help forms.

Desired outcome:

I would like all the the comments I made to be fully restored and my access to every site restored and all these so-called Mods that push the toxic agenda of diversity, inclusion and promotion of the sickness of the leftist agenda. banned from using the platform again. Full IP ban as well. @cali_queso and all these other so-called moderators all need banned from the internet.

I would also like an explanation of why this was even considered spam in the first place.

I commented on The Gateway Pundit's website, in their comment section, a reference to an article about Klaus Schwab. The title of the article was, "Digital Militarization of Klaus Schwab's WEF and the United Nations" published on August 21, 2022 by RAIR Foundation. Within one hour, my comment was deleted and I could not log into my account. I have had my Disqus account for three years, since August of 2019, and I have never had trouble logging in. I could not log in using my email address, nor change my password, and Disqus said that "there is no account connected to this email". I kept trying to log in and kept getting the same message. I still can not log in and my account is totally gone. I had over 20,000 comments and over 45,000 likes on that account. The whole account is gone.

Would be nice if there was a better way to report users who probably need something more than just a simple flagging, and also to be able to do so without needing to create an account. And a system in place that can find some of these users by searching for keywords (or a much better system) would be good to see.

I was unable to report a user on worldstarhiphop.com named "irapewhitewomenmexicanGOD" who would say things such as "Hurt. Nℹ️ggers 🐒, etc.

I no longer have access to my old email/disqus account, which is why I can't flag anyone, and didn't want to create a new one. Maybe something will happen by posting this here.

Anyway, get better at banning accounts like this in the future!

Discus has me blocked from posting on brighteon.com biblical scriptures anything this has been an ongoing battle that has not been resolved.
