Duckduck's "down ranking" of "Russian disinformation" is a really bad move.

I read the press release / comments from the CEO in regards to down ranking. There is no down ranking in the 1st amendment. Over last 3 years, I (small business owner) have installed duck duck go in home, office (3 computers), and 4 phones in total to escape Google.

If there is not a reversal in the next several business days - I will go back to google for simple reason that their engine runs smoother ...something I put up with because of your "privacy and marketing as anti-google" If your going to manipulate search results - what's the point?

This article was first written in 2014 and then updated in 2020. I discovered it when searching my name, Alistair Siddons, with your search engine.

I spoke to a journalist in 2020 but 'on background' only, meaning they should not name me.

The story not only names me but also contains several inaccuracies - for example, I am not and have never been a 'promoter.'

These inaccuracies are so key that the article is really little more than gossip. As I am not a public figure, there is no public interest reason for naming me anyway.

I am a vulnerable person in several ways and this story damages my privacy by associating me strongly with a particular place.

It is not dated and looks as if it happened recently. I ask for it to be taken down the grounds that it invades my privacy, needlessly names me when I asked not to be named, is innacurate and should not stand as a matter of record.

Once again, Google has invaded my internet space with their ad for TotalAdblock. Right now, the only ad I want blocked is theirs!

This is terrible and should be removed immediately. This was placed in the wrong search as well. It is illegal content and should be reported to the authorities.
