DuckDuckGo

Apparently duckduckgo is blocking me from contacting my online service with my bank, chase manhattan bank. I cannot interact with my credit card account so I can make payments. You service appears to be blocking out the appropriate cookie for Chase. Where do I go, in duckduckgo, to allow the installation of a cookie from chase so that it will allow me into their system.

This is a query more than a complaint.
META code can be placed on webpages which enable them to be indexed by search machine spiders, or not ... such as
META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW"

I do NOT want Google to index my pages but I would like Duckduckgo to do so. Is there a META code that I can use to this end and if so would you send it to me. Many thanks

I go to the DDG website and download it. What comes down is an .xoi file. What do I do with it?

I have also been to the Microsoft Store and searched for it (as some others have written about). When I find anything even close to it, the app is called "Duckgo". This is one with the same logo as DDG, but a different app made by Brave. It is equally useless.

So how can I finally get out of Google's stranglehold...?

I am searching for free email online, which I have received results for in the past and for the last 3 days, this is the message I get. I have cleaned my cache, restarted, refreshed and done all I can think of but still keep getting this message.

No results found for free email online.

Suggestions:

Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
Try different keywords.
Try more general keywords.
Try fewer keywords.

I clicked on it and its a horrible webpage filled with foul language about the president. I want to contact the white house and this is the number one result i get? This is downright evil and very wrong, please check into it. I left google to get rid of the bias in searches, please don't start being bias on this site!

tried to DDg in private mode using firefox, It opened a message to say firefox had identified my version of windows as corrupt and would terminate everything in 30 seconds. It took me three days to sort out a similar crash last week. Have you been hacked or is my widows really corruped . According to microsoft it is ok. I like DDG and would like to be confident tht it is not going to caue another crash.

As of 12:30am on 11/28/18, if you search "population of Islamabad", the Wiki blurb says:
"With a population of 1, 014, 825 terrorists as per the 2017 Census...". Not really a complaint, just a heads up. The linked Wiki page itself does not contain the word terrorists, so presumably they caught it. Perhaps refresh a little more on your end lol? Ecosia was also displaying the same so you guys weren't alone!

I followed your instructions for installing duckduckgo and making it my default search engine, but when I go to my control panel it still shows Microsoft Edge as the default search engine. Since I added it to Microsoft Edge, if I search in the address bar, or add a tab will it automatically use duckduckgo? I am using Windows 10 on an HP Edge built in 2017. I need some help with this. Please send detailed instructions. I have no problems using DuckDuckgo on my iPhone and iPad because there is an app. But there is no app in the Microsoft store for DuckDuckGo!

When I type in a search, the website gets loaded. Example, I just typed rediff money and the website got loaded. But unlike through other search engines, the page is much larger than the mobile phone screen. I have to scroll right and left and back again to read the information that I want. It's very cumbersome and inconvenient to deal with this. I like duckduckgo, so I have taken the liberty to provide this feedback with a lot of hope that you guys are listening attentively

Actually, I know I'm on the wrong page, but thought maybe you
could give some advice.
So, my concern is about the search engine anyone can use, to enter
my name, with the private information that comes up about me. Example
would be in providing my address and phone number, which, makes me
feel very uncomfortable.
Question is, is there a way I can remove that knowledge about our family
from the search engine ? I generally use duck duck go.

How do I remove or disable the Products section from my DuckDuckGo searches?

I do not want to see Amazon promotions when I search online. I live in the UK where we can still choose not to be enslaved by big business.

It seems I need to add some words for your robots so here goes.

I use your search engine because I value my privacy and don't want my choices, decisions and interests handed over to greedy parasites for them to exploit for money. So you can perhaps imagine my disasppointment to find hideous Amazon nonsense given priority by Duck Duck Go when I search for serious and intelligent information on the internet.

If Duckduckgo does not track me... how come I get adverts about flying to Dubai after i have been searching for Prices of Dubai flights ? I was looking at a newspaper report that is in the Gaudian newspaper and after reading through it half way down I get a advert about Dubai flights. I don't see that as coincidence especially as I have recently booked a Dubai holiday and have used Duckduckgo for Dubai flight search ...

Please, never install this piece of crap. It's something that's hard to get rid of and looks like a virus. Once you install it, you will never delete it from your laptop or PC. It plays with settings and makes itself a default browser.
I used a lot of programs that help to remove crap like that, but they weren't helpful. Do you understand how serious it may be?
Their customer support simply doesn't exist. No wonder. They don't have anyone who could fix it.

I found this website DuckDuckGo and tried it a few times. There was nothing special about it.
I don't know how and why but it set itself as a starting page and now I can't get rid of it! I tried all the possible ways, even googled what people said and tried to remove DuckDuckGo from my PC! But I guess I'm stick with it and the only way to get rid of it is to uninstall the whole system.

I haven’t heard or used the website www.duckduckgo.com. I noticed that this company started to take money from me. They took money from my account within several weeks. I tried to reach them, but they didn’t reply to my emails. I have no idea what to do now. Because they continued to take money from me. I need to stop this company and need someone’s help. I hope this company will be shut down soon.

I searched for cheap voice programs on the website www.duckduckgo.com. It showed results from different other fields, which weren’t connected with voice programs at all. I decided to change words and tried again, but the result was zero. I have no idea how to use this searching website properly. I was annoyed and angry that I couldn’t find what I really needed. I will not use it again! 100% waste of my time.
