Dtlr advertises a "trendsetter award program" to loyal customers. I am a sneaker collector, I've been collecting shoes since 2003. I spend more money on shoes than the average consumer. The program works like this, you earn 1 point for every $1.00 spent on qualifying purchases, For every 500 points earned, receive a $25 Reward. On February 24 2022, I had a total of 3,952 points on my account, that means I've spent close to $4,000 with this company in the past few months. I save my rewards for raffle releases incase I win, so the stuff that sits on the shelf, I normally pay full price for. On February 28th I purchased 1 pair of shoes from my normal waldorf location, and was surprised that I had no points on my account. Dtlr sent me an email stating " We have looked into your profile and have concluded that we see patterns of a "bulk buyer/reseller". The problem is i'm actual a sneaker collector, a customer should not be punished because they spend too much money. That's absolutely ridiculous, to support a company as a regular customer and be punished isn't right. Everything I buy from this company is for personal use from me or my family, I am highly disappointed, reinstating my points is not enough, you should value your top customers and not treat them like this. I am owed $200 in coupons from this company. If you don't want to award your loyal customers, just end the program. Thanks!
Won a raffle for shoes and the store sold them before I could pick them up
I won a raffle for the cherry 12s. In the confirmation text message it stated I had until the end of the day to pick up my shoes. I arrived to the store well before they closed and they stated that they were sold out of the shoe. This was on the same day as the release and raffle winners are the only customers who can get the shoe. I was unable to get the shoes as all stores was sold out

I went to DTLR Villa and let me tell you, it was a real experience. I gotta say, I wasn't impressed. The staff was not very friendly and their policies were just plain awful. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
First off, the staff was just plain rude. They didn't seem to care about helping me find what I was looking for and they were not very knowledgeable about their products. It was like they didn't even want to be there.
And don't even get me started on their policies. They were just plain ridiculous. I had to jump through hoops just to make a simple return. It was like they didn't even want to give me my money back.
Overall, I would not recommend DTLR Villa to anyone. The staff was rude and their policies were just plain awful. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
Nightmare Customer Service and Slow Shipping: My Experience with [Site Name]
I was so mad, I couldn't believe it. I mean, come on, how can something sell out in just one second? It's ridiculous. And then, when I tried to contact customer service, it was a nightmare. I had to go through the whole process of returning it and waiting for a new one to arrive, which took even longer.

I asked why they couldn't replace the sneakers the rep said they have a policy stating they are not responsible for items once shipped. Less than an hour later, I attempted to return the shoes because I had changed my mind. The shoes were unused and never worn. I brought them back with the receipt and the card I used to purchase them. I was then informed that the store does not offer cash refunds. However, my payment was made via debit card, not cash. Since then, I have been promised phone calls from the District Manager, Ike, which I have not received. Additionally, none of the store associates have shown initiative in assisting me to resolve this issue. DTLR's return policy clearly states that customers have 30 days to return unused and undamaged merchandise with the receipt, which I have complied with. I am requesting a full refund as soon as possible.

I bought a pair of shoes for my son size 7 at the Summit mall location. I wasn't sure if they would fit him. He tried on a 9 1/2 and it had no wiggle room. We asked for a size 10. Our shoes were brought to the counter and we made our purchase. Got home to realize the shoes were the same 9 1/2 that didn't fit. Called to the store and was told we don't have a ten in that size. On 12/23 I made a purchase at the DTLR in Waldorf, MD. Literally came back 30 minutes later and tried to get a refund . The "manager on duty" informed me that since I paid debit that is considered cash and they don't issue cash refunds. My receipt however does not say that it simply says "No cash refunds" there is no sign post and the sales person didn't say any thing. There should be a sign posted but, if it was actually posted consumers would rethink there purchase. If given all available options I would have selected the credit option. I feel as though I paid with a card no matter it was debit or credit and I should be allowed to have the money refunded to my card the same way I paid. The manager is duty contacted the store manager on her phone and she "agreed!"
