I used to shop at Doctors Foster and Smith (drsfostersmith.com) for my cat's food and other supplies. It was a pretty good place to get what I needed. But lately, I've been having some issues with their shipping. It's been taking forever for my orders to arrive, and the tracking information isn't always accurate. Sometimes I wonder if my order will ever get here at all!

Because of this, I've started going to a pet store instead to buy my cat's food. It's just easier and more reliable that way. I don't have to worry about waiting for my order to arrive or dealing with any shipping issues.

Overall, I'm a little disappointed with my recent experiences at Doctors Foster and Smith. I used to really like shopping there, but the slow shipping has been a real problem for me. I hope they can improve this in the future so that I can start shopping there again. But for now, I'll stick with my local pet store.

So, I was on drsfostersmith.com and I ordered this thing that comes in two sizes. I wanted the more expensive one, so that's what I clicked on. But when it arrived, they sent me the cheaper one! I called customer service and they said they would make a note of it, but they didn't offer me a refund or anything. I mean, come on! I've been buying stuff from Doctors Foster and Smith for a long time now. But recently, they started sending my orders in plastic bags instead of boxes. I mean, seriously? They're trying to save a few pennies by cutting corners like that? That's just plain bad customer service. I'm thinking of switching to one of their competitors.

On the other hand, I had a great experience with Chewy.com when I had to return some merchandise after my first pet passed away. They not only refunded me for the items, but they also asked me to donate them to a local animal shelter. It was a really kind gesture and it made me feel like they cared about me and my pets.

Overall, I think Doctors Foster and Smith could do better when it comes to customer service and compassion. While they did accept my return the first time, their lack of empathy the second time was disappointing. I would recommend Chewy.com instead, as they seem to be more customer-focused and caring.

I bought a lot of inverts from Doctors Foster and Smith (drsfostersmith.com) for my big marine tank, spending over 500 bucks. But when I got my order, they sent me a bag full of dead mexican turbo snails which caused an ammonia bomb that wiped out my whole aquarium. I had over 5000 dollars worth of fish, coral and inverts in there that were all stable for over 2 years.

I tried to get help from LiveAquaria (Doctors Foster and Smith), but they didn't do anything to fix the problem. I was really disappointed with their customer service.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend LiveAquaria to anyone. They messed up my order and didn't help me when I needed it.

I had a bad experience with Doctors Foster and Smith (drsfostersmith.com). They said in writing that it was okay for my shipping and billing addresses to not match before I placed my order. But they lied. They only shipped to my billing address and that was the only address they saw in their system. Even though my order history on their website showed my correct shipping address, the confirmation email they sent me only contained ads and no address. Luckily, UPS alerted me about this issue. But when I contacted the company to correct it, they refused to help me. Their representatives, including a supervisor, just blamed me for ordering online. This company is garbage. I wish I had read reviews before ordering from them.

I had a really bad experience with Doctors Foster and Smith. I sent in my prescription so I could order online, but it never showed up in my account. I called to find out what was going on and they told me they couldn't find it and that it didn't have a doctor's signature. After a lot of back and forth, they finally found the signature and I was able to place an order over the phone.

But then, my order was a week late! I had wanted to take advantage of a recent 30% off promotion, but when I went to my account, my prescription wasn't there. When I called to find out what was going on, they told me that online and phone orders are not on the same server. That's just ridiculous!

I recently purchased six cases of dog food from Doctors Foster and Smith (drsfostersmith.com). Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the way my order was packaged. The cans were poorly packaged and too many were placed in one box, causing the cans to arrive badly dented and the box to be destroyed due to the excessive weight. Many of the dents were near the seal, which concerned me as I did not want to risk feeding my dogs contaminated food.

I reached out to the vendor to request a refund, but they jerked me around and ultimately refused to refund my money. They claimed that cans with dents at the seal are fine to feed my dog, but I was not willing to take that risk. I have had similar issues with dented cans from other vendors like Amazon, but they always refunded me, especially when it was their poor packaging that caused the issue.

I provided the vendor with photos of the packaging and damaged product, but they still refused to refund my money. As a pet owner, I want to ensure that my dogs are receiving safe and healthy food, and I was disappointed with the lack of customer service from Doctors Foster and Smith.

Overall, I would not recommend purchasing from this vendor due to their poor packaging and lack of customer service. It is important to prioritize the health and safety of our furry friends, and I did not feel that this vendor shared that same priority.

Have a new puppy, pees on everything. Purchased pee stop and sprayed it around the house. after 45 seconds he peed on every spot I sprayed. Should be called pee start. Your bird suet is awful, they take a few pecks and never see them again. You need t o get responsible dealers! Not this imported [censor] who never saw a bird or puppy. Most o f your products are great.

I had a hard time trying to refund.
I ordered several items and I didn't like them at all when I received them for some reasons.
I was on the phone for about 2 hours waiting for someone to talk to me. But they only transferred me from one representative to another and in the end, I wasn't helped anyway.
I have never had an experience like that. I am very disappointed.

Don’t waste money on the website www.drfostersmith.com. I bought from them food for my dog, but the seller didn’t confirm the purchase. Money has been taken from my card, but the seller didn’t inform about the purchase and delivery. I patiently waited 14 days and cancelled the order, but when I checked the information on the website, it was stated that money was returned to the customer, but I haven’t received this sum back.

My friend advised me to visit the website www.drsfostersmith.com in order to save money on pets’ supplies and medicine. I ordered from them, but they provided completely different medicines and supplies. I sent it back, and the seller promised to provide new order within 4 days. After that period I didn’t receive my order and the seller stopped to communicate.Maybe someone has any idea how to track this seller and return money back, please contact me then or leave a comment. I received chicken treats for my dogs that stated on the package "made in China". I intentionally googled "True Chews" which are American made chicken treats. This company's product appears under this nomenclature (True chews + American made). Therefore, I thought the chicken treats were made in America. Nowhere on their web page under these chicken treats did this company state that they were made "in China". Last but not least, their site clearly states that they pay for returns. It was a hassle and an argument but I had this company email me a return label. These chicken treats were sent back in their original packaging under UPS Ground # 1Z E15 A65 [protected]. According to UPS, the package was returned and delivered. It has been more than 3 weeks and still no refund. This is ridiculous. I will never buy from this company again.

I ordered vaccines from Drs Foster & Smith, which required me to pay for 2nd day air. What I didn't know was the cat bed that I purchsed for $19.99, I was charged $17 shipping, since it was on the same order as the vaccines. Buyers beware! Foster & Smith advertise on their website $5.99 flat rate or free shipping. Take my advise & purchase from UPCO.com next time you need pet supplies! They charge $0 for shipping (including vaccines) if the order is over $85. Shame on Foster & Smith!

I ordered 6 feline vaccines from www.drsfostersmith.com and payed more than $30.00 for the delivery, expecting that for the amount thay were charging to send them to me the vaccines will arrive refrigerated, since this is a condition vaccines MUST be kept under, otherwise they don't work. Today I received them in a cardboard box, with 2 little bags of unfrozen gel and the vaccines were completely under room tamperature. I immediatelly called the customer service and they told me that the vaccines are fine. I assume that they believe that we are all ignorants and that we don't know about how delicate products vaccines are.
When I asked them about a solution they told me that I have to send the vaccines back to them and that they will send me "another" ones and that I have to pay for the delivery again, but that they will be sent under the same conditions, that they didn't have any special containers to send them in that will avoid the low temperature the vaccines need not to change.
I'm writting this to warn all the pet owners that are planning to buy vaccines from this store to think about it again, since the product (sent under that conditions) won't work, and the Foster and Smith store won't give you your money back. Thank you.

Just wanted to warn folks about imported rawhide that Foster & Smith are using. Although the rawhide page on their website states:

Made from premium beef hide, produced in the U.S.A., our rawhide is created only by manufacturers we trust to adhere strictly to our approved manufacturing processes, and consistently live up to our high quality standards."

when you call and ask them about their rawhide, they admit that it comes from China and Argentina.

I was shocked, because I've used them for over 20 years, and always thought of them as highly honest and ethical.
