On Wednesday, 6/22/22, my husband and I visited DriveTime and met with a salesperson. We chose a red Jetta to test drive based on our needs and budget. The test drive went well, and we returned to the dealership to start the purchasing process. Unfortunately, we were involved in an accident where another driver hit our Jetta. The front quarter panel/headlight was damaged, and we ended up on the sidewalk. The airbags deployed upon impact. While I called 9-1-1, my husband contacted the dealership. Soon after, the salesperson and the dealership manager arrived at the scene. The police also arrived, and another vehicle helped tow the Jetta off the street. After giving our statements, the salesperson handled the situation with the police while we were checked by EMTs. When we were ready, the salesperson drove us back to the dealership to retrieve our car. We then went to the hospital. Everything went smoothly, and we returned to DriveTime on Thursday to meet with the salesperson again. We test drove another Jetta, a Passat, and a Soul. Both the salesperson and the dealership manager came to talk to us and showed genuine concern for our well-being. Apart from some minor injuries, the purchasing process went well. My husband decided to go with the Soul and drove it home that afternoon. I was impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the staff. The salesperson even put a new battery in the Soul before we left. I would recommend the DriveTime dealership to anyone who wants a quick and efficient process (we were only there for three hours) to buy their next vehicle.
