I was trying to reinstall the operating system on my computer. DriverAgent.com preyed upon my frustration at finding drivers for my operating system. They said that they had the drivers I needed after running a scan on my computer. When I paid they forced me to buy other products that I did not want. Should have been a sign. I was happy to spend the money to get my computer working. However, once I had paid and downloaded the drivers that they suggested, it turns out that the drivers were not even close to what I needed.
I promptly emailed asking for a refund. They stalled by sending unhelpful emails back and forth. Finally they gave me a link to their "refund" form. I filled out the form and did not hear anything for a month. When I sent an email asking what happened, they said I filled the form out wrong and gave me the text that I had entered on the form. If I had filled the form out wrong, why didn't they respond right away. More useless emails back and forth.
I finally disputed the charge with my credit card company. The money was sucked out of their account right back onto my credit card. No questions asked.
It's tempting to use their service when you are having computer problems but they are just preying on your weakness.
