Door Dash has HORRIBLE Customer Service, be forewarned!
I created an account on July 3rd and placed an order with Dragon Garden because they do not deliver. Order arrived, missing my favorite item, my cream cheese wontons. I looked at the receipt-they were there, just not in the delivered bag. I contacted them and they DENIED either a refund or a delivery of the missing item. NO reason given. They escalated and I received a response, once again DENIED.
I escalated further. I called and the lady on the phone (from India nonetheless) told me that my account was 'flagged' and that's the reason for the denial. HOW? It was a BRAND NEW account, I NEVER ordered from DoorDash before! She had her boss call me. He told me NO REFUND (it would have been a $4 refund on a nearly $90 order) because my address was associated with a previous refund. When pressed WHEN, he could not tell me, the INDIAN guy just kept regurgitating the same sentence over and over again without even a HINT of an apology.
I had to think about it for a minute. When my son graduated from College in early June we ordered from Pizza Hut. The order was delivered by DoorDash even though we did not order from DoorDash. The order arrived without my husband's favorite wings he ordered. When we called Pizza Hut they refunded the money. That's the ONLY time in I don't know how many MONTHS we even had any food delivered. I Can't even remember a time when I requested a refund from anyone else for years beforehand.
I escalated even further, to no avail.
